Giving this a try after using WD easystores for a few years because of the sale price for the capacity.
CrystalDiskInfo reports ST24000NM002H-3KS133 which is a SATA Exos X24 24TB.
CrystalDiskMark seems to be typical.
Connected to a Dell Optiplex 5050 SFF. Connection is USB Micro-B.
Was formatted exFAT, registered it (Start_Here_Win.exe) before quick reformatting to NTFS. All the easystores came formatted NTFS and I haven't had permission problems. Among other things, gives me more flexibility with the label name.
Only had a chance so far to run chkdsk d: /f /r > chkdsk24tb.txt in an elevated command prompt.
Took about 29 hours. The majority of the time was spent in Stage 5: Looking for bad, free clusters ... Will run other tests (SMART, etc.) when I get a chance.
Has not been noticeably noisy so far. Will see how it sounds with more tests and when copying TBs of data to it.
Have it placed on an old case fan on standoffs blowing up to provide air circulation, as I do with the easystores.

the Seagate Expansion 34TB External USB 3.0 is a great addition to my other Seagate drives I use every day. It's quiet, fast and I know I can depend on it. For me it was easy to just plug & play. No formatting was needed for my PC. Quick set up and use is a big plus for me. I've had no problems with the drive and it is able to store 25+ years of photos and artwork with a ton of rum to spare. Download speed is fantastic. Love all my Seagate Drives. Never had a problem with any of them. Highly recommend the product to anyone who needs more hard drive space. Super happy with it and you will be too.

Easy to use and setup. Works great for a backup storage or RAID configuration for a media server. I personally use this for my 3D modeling projects. I model on both my Windows Desktop and Macbook Air. No problems with switching between devices, and it's compact, which I appreciate taking with me when traveling. It's pretty quiet considering it's a HDD inside. Do I wish it was a little quieter yeah but for price/TB it's hard to beat. Also I've had other branded hard drives before and they fail. I have yet to have a Seagate drive fail in ~20 years of owning them.

This external drive is both fast and also massive! Wish I'd purchased one sooner. The largest single drive I've ever had before this was 8TB. I back up our home server and each of our home computers onto this now, and it's perfect.
Only con is that it does make some clicking noises when being used. This is not an issue for me at all, but something to note, and probably common with larger platter drives. Love it and will be buying more!

This is my best purchase so far. It's a good deal for 24 TB, and Seagate is one of the best Drives for PCs and storage. It's silent and makes no sound while loading. Most of my external drives have been Seagate for more than 10 years now—the best of the Best.

Let's get this out of the way first: the drive works fine, speeds are OK, the noise level is more or less what you'd expect (although it is a little loud as it wakes up). The included power adapter even lets you swap in connectors for other regions if you're taking it outside the US.
The reason I can't give it more stars - other than the fact that I've only had it for a few days - is because it feels like Seagate's throwing these together out of whatever parts they have on hand.
Best Buy lists this model as connecting via a USB-C cable, but the one I recieved uses a microUSB 3.0 cable - you know, that weird double-wide microUSB that got used on a handful of Samsung phones in the years leading up to USB-C, a handful of external USB storage devices like these, and literally nowhere else. The product page on Seagate's website doesn't promise any sort of connector at all, just that it's USB 3.0, and I don't know if that means there are USB-C and microUSB versions floating around, or if Best Buy reasonably assumed anyone talking about USB 3.0 these days would just use USB-C. My guess is that most buyers don't typically have spare microUSB 3.0 cables lying around, either, whereas USB-C is pretty commonplace by now - try not to lose or break the cable that's included.
The actual drive included in the enclosure is also a matter of chance. There are a lot of reports of these models containing enterprise-grade Exos X24 drives, but many recent purchasers - myself included - have found themselves receiving consumer-grade Barracuda HDDs instead. At the moment the quality of the drives is unknown compared to the Exos drives, as they're new enough that Seagate only added them to their website in the last few days, but they're certainly not designed for the sort of use and abuse an Exos drive is equipped to deal with.
All that said, these are a good buy when there's a sale. At full price, it's another matter - only bite if you're comfortable getting saddled with a lower-grade drive.

This product is one of the best storage devices I have ever used. It is easy to get up and running right out of the box. The included instruction manual is easy to understand and gives detailed instructions on how to configure the unit to your specific setup, be it iOS or Windows. It very slim and takes up very little desk space. I use mostly iOS, and moving files over is as simple as clicking and dragging.

We have been using the Seagate USB expansions for a few years for archive storage of files, basically for long term storage, and this 24TB version is fantastic... more storage, means less drives! The drive connects fine USB2 and USB3, no issue. Excellent transfer speeds.

I purchased this to backup my UHD media files. I have a 32 TB Synology server, it gives me just over 20TB of protected storage. I added a 16TB RaidBox via USB and loaded all of my UHD files on it. Concerned with no backup in the event of the RaidBox failing, I pulled the trigger on this 24TB Expansion drive. Once I backed up all my files, I unplugged it and set it on a shelf. As I add more UHD media to my collection, I will continue to add the files to the backup. All things considered, I am very pleased with the drive. It is fast, but it does get quite warm.

I bought this drive for one purpose… Time Machine backup on my Mac Mini. And the $/TB was lower than the WD MyBook equivalent. The casing on it isn’t particulalry robust. And longevity hasnt been tested by me yet. As a drive to just sit in the background and do daily backups, its as good as ive used. Unexpected bonus is it is fast enoufh to use as a media library for Plex if you want a big drive for that use. Its not really fast enough for me to want to use for video editing or Apple Photos library, which ive got on SSD. Some users have complained its noisy but i havent found it much louder than other fullsize external HDDs. The fullsize ones can be noosy when they spin up compared to the small portable ones.

This 24TB drive is a beast. Tons of space, fast transfer speeds, and super reliable for backups and media work. Runs cool and quiet too. If you need serious storage, this is it—no regrets.

So far so good. I bought four of these to shuck and replace my NAS drives as they were cheaper at the time than buying 4x24TB bare seagate drives. Note, these cases are much harder to get into than the WD ones I opened last time I did this and I don't think it's possible to get into them without snapping at least 50% of the tabs. These drives are a bit noisier than the 10TB WD drives they are replacing, but not dramatically. My array has just finished rebuilding and is almost done expanding, so no clue on reliability yet, hopefully it'll be 7+ years like the last set of WD's I had.
