I purchased this External Hard Drive to save all my computer files and pictures because I was planning to switch my computer operating system from Windows to Linux. This turned out to be a great purchase. Very happy with this product.

This drive is fast and dependable. The only thing I would improve on is to put little rubber tabs on it so it doesn't slide around. Other than that, it's a great drive.

I used it as soon as it came in filled it up with 1.5tb and just been in constant use since. Works great, fast, and as advertised.

So far I will give it 4 stars. I got it to store backups on a Linux box. Had to reformat it, but that is expected. It is operating according to spec. It was a lower priced drive.

If you’re looking for a compact reliable back up drive , Seagate can manage all your files and come in different storage sizes. Mine is 1T which is more than I’ll ever need but the price point was spot on. I choose external drives along with Time Machine in the event one fails I will always have a back up.

It works great and has help me free up space on my notebook. It allows me to transfer files from my camera sim card so I can edit my videos. I would recommend this product for anybody looking for addition hard drive space. Easy plug in play..

After filling up my 1TB Seagate external expansion unit, I purchased this as an additional external backup for a couple of my computers. Nice, slim & Super Easy to use.

I needed another external drive for my laptop and I got this on a good deal! 2TB is a great storage amount and Seagate always delivers on quality in my opinion! No issues and it's very helpful for backing up files when transferring to a new computer/OS. Plus, I also like how lightweight and quaint it is! It can easily fit anywhere and the USB cable is sturdy too.

My laptop was on its last legs, and was severely underperforming compared to how it’s run for the last several years. I bought this as a last ditch attempt to try and keep my laptop going until Black Friday sales. It has run significantly smoother since purchasing this and should certainly make it to Black Friday where I’ll buy a PC and still use this external hard drive!
