    Exactly what I needed to replace my old external drive. I use Time Machine and it really doesn't erase old backups when out of space, so rather than clean it up myself much easier to buy a new drive. This was perfect and I was off and backing up again in no time.

    This product is a very economical way to store a lot of data. It is not as fast as a solid state drive but it provides a great way to replace or back up cloud storage. I have owned 12 external hard drives from 3 different manufacturers over the years and the only one that I ever had go bad was a Western Digital 4 TB model. I am a fan of Seagate.
