I've purchased this drive before because it simply offers the best amount of space for the money (when on sale) at the present time. Bought online and picked up at local store - smooth and fast - Best Buy has really improved on the experience of this service.

I do all the media work for my church and need a place to store my large video files. I already have one of these but it is nearly full (about 2 years worth of raw and completed video files). Great price and fits my needs well

I have had several of these. They hold up pretty good. Took maybe 4 yrs for my first failure. Recovered info and harddrove with an external hd swappable enclosure. Still haven't lost any data on any of them.

The product itself is amazing. I personally use this for my Xbox external storage. No issues with launching games or crashes. The only downside is the constant “booting up” noise it makes even when I am not playing games. If noise is an issue for you then I would pass on this product. Other than that the product value is amazing compared to the competition.

It worked the first time I connected it. No problems and has plenty of room for movies and music.

It's a hard drive. What is there to say. I was able to transfer my files.

We used these to store large media files as backups. They are quick and do the job. We used them on Mac's and PC's. You should format them if you would like quicker speeds when used with Macs.

I had it for almost a month and I've been quite impressed with it. I'm using it on my PS4 and it was able to read it even though on the box it is for a desktop. I love it!

Arrived on schedule, very well packaged, really quick and easy to connect, had it up and running in under 5 minutes, looking forward to many years of good use, I have found Seagate products to be very reliable and long lasting. No ON/OFF switch included but can't be beat for the price.

I bought this to store and convert my DVDs to digital format for easy portable access to all my movie library. It connected easily with my Raspberry Pi to play the movies.

This external 8TB drive is what I needed for my ps4, I was running out of space and ‘this drive did the trick, it’s fast so far reliable and I can take it with me. So far love it.

It works great for moving files off and on a computer. It has tons of space, has quick read and write speeds, and great for transferring videos and big files.

great drive no problems. been using this drive for over a year. also purchased a second drive. I would suggest this to anybody who uses a Mac.

Drive seems to be working OK. Easy to set up and use! Formatted and ready to go. USB 3.0 is fast enough to read and write files to.

Great for storing animations that my son is working on. Will most likely be purchasing another for our other pc as well. Awesome product.

The Seagate - Expansion desktop 8tb External has worked perfectly so far im pretty happy with it I just bought another one.

A great drive at a great price! Used solely for my large video backups. Seagate (in my opinion) is STILL the best drives out there! Easy install and drag n' drop!
