    Absolute garbage drive. It lasted several days beyond the 1 year warranty and then started clicking and died. It is not even used as a portable - it just sits on a flat surface. Pure unadulterated TRASH.

    Doesn't work with a Mac. How lame is that !! Was disappointed when found out it isn't Mac compatible.

    I bought this hard drive as a back up to my computer and to store games. I initially saved one computer game on it and then stored it away in a protective box. When I pulled the hard drive out to use it, the unit comes on and then turns off. After researching it says the I cannot retrieve any info I have on it now will it work and I need a new one. I only used this a few times. I have Western Digitals that are older than this and they work perfectly. I will never purchase a Seagate external drive again.
