Easy to install and works very well . Been in there a couple weeks now issues. Do buy an a heatsink before you install you're card. Or no more ps5.

Super fast M.2 NVMe SSD, 4th Generation and works great. I have no issues with this Seagate product. Rated the best SSD Available in 2022.

Really fast. Paired it with the Sabrent heat sink which is a replacement cover for the PS5 that acts as the heat sink also. Takes advantage of the fan to keep the ssd cool. On install it clocked the drive at 6557 MB/s but keep in mind that’s not a true benchmark of any drive and doesn’t apply to real world use or application. Made the choice to go with the firecuda not only for its superior read/write speeds but it boasts a long life span. Guess I’ll find that out in time. Piece of advice- load your favorite games onto the new ssd, anyone that surpasses 5500 MB/s, as the loading times will be improved, not by like the hugest amount but some.

I should have gotten the 2tb one, but i got the same 1tb i had storage already but i did notice a quicker response in my asus

My old laptop had a mechanical hard drive that was slooooowwww as could be. Had an empty slot for an SSD drive, I ordered the FireCuda 530 and had an IT friend do the install for me. The new drive is awesome. Super-fast. Boot up is almost instantaneous compared to the old mechanical drive. I'm not a gamer, but this drive is more than enough for web browsing, social media, photo/video, and MS Office applications. Plus, the price is very reasonable for what you get for it.

1 star for the support, 5 stars for the product. (I have 2 of these only one failed) The Good: -Works great when drive functions. -Data recovery warranty included with drive is mostly painless, less than 2 weeks to receive recovered data after shipping drive to Data Recovery Lab. The Bad: -Drive failed in 14 months of purchase. Drive failed to be detected by computer. -Warranty start date is from date of manufacture, and not purchase. -Only way to contact support is through chat on support page. -Support escalation takes 48 hours or more to even contact you back. (Still waiting on contact after 2 business days) Contacted Seagate support to get data recovery and warranty replacement process started. Process requires data recovery to be shipped drive first, once they receive it they will start RMA to replace drive. Received recovered data on an external drive in under 2 weeks after they received drive. RMA was never started though. Contacted customer support after receiving recovered data. The only option available was to start the RMA process and was told it would take 3 to 5 business days. If going through RMA without data recovery you can pay to have replacement drive processed and shipped faster before shipping the defective drive back. This is not an option with using warranty provided data recovery. It is now a week later (5 business days) and still no activity on receiving replacement drive. Contacted customer support again and now they say it takes 2 weeks to process. So now it is almost a month from originally contacting support and started whole process, still no replacement in site.

WOW! It's not just me either. Good reviews all round. This is the best you can do at an amazing price. Thing stays about 20 degrees cooler than my Western Digital too. You won't find a better deal. FIVE YEARS WARRANTY?! THREE YEAR DATA REVOVERY?! Excellent customer service. Best you can do.

Bought this for my xbox series x to hold more games. Works fine and loads all my games dast enough. However, do be warned: you can only play certain X/S games from it. You cannot play all X/S games from external storage. I cannot remember what all the games are but you can find out with a google or chatgpt search. You will also need an external NVMe enclosure to house this drive in. It does not directly plug into your console like the proprietary storage unit microsoft makes does.

Man oh man, this thing is fast and chews up anything I throw at it (we're talking Photoshop image rendering, Premiere Pro encoding, Handbrake transcoding, etc.). I know this has gaming Marketing all over it but it's an excellent SSD for professional and business tasks as well. Buy it!

I have this an a SK Hynix P41 Platinum 1TB drive. Both are ridiculously fast. This drive is considerably cooler than the SK Hynix. I can't recommend this drive enough.

From off to home screen in 16 seconds. I don't think it gets faster for gen 4x4. The recommended Seagate software comes with free data recovery when registered.

Picked up on sale, it’s honestly one of the best m.2’s I have owned and for the price you can’t beat, only wish I would of picked up the 2tb stick

One of the fastest internal 1TB SSD's and I had immediate results, faster gameplay and loading PS4 games. You will need to add a heatsink before installation.

Got this thing on sale and wanted to see how fast this thing really was im on z690 with 12900k and 2 Samsung drives and a wd black all gen 4 and after installing this drive wow faster than any other nvme i own only dislike is the firmware update is a little harder than most had to search internet to finally find a tool to update it
