I really liked the price for this product! This is considered the arguably the best memory stick in the industry. Competitors also had it for the same price so when I saw this I was sold to buy it from Best Buy! Quality, good price and a well-trusted business! Check, check and check! Highly recommend buying this product! The installation process is simple and the download time onto the memory stick is as quick as the console itself.

Installs directly inside of the PS5 expansion port. Super easy to install it took me 5 minutes. Yes it was expensive but worth every penny. Added 1TB of storage to my PS5 & the best part? No dangling wires or SSD plugged into my USB ports. Way more expensive as opposed to the external SSD storage, but worth having a USB port free and no extra cables & hardware dangling. PS5 formatted it immediately and was able to use it immediately. A must have for PS5 owners.

Bought this for use in a PS5. Meets all requirements and has the heatsink installed. Installation - easy peasy. Took no effort and fit perfectly. Tip though, make sure to put the metal SSD cover back in place. You may think leaving it off will allow it to cool easier, but this is wrong. The SSD bay and fan set up is made to pull the heat out of the SSD slot. Transferring - putting data onto it was extremely fast. A lot better than transfer times on externals. Took but a minute to transfer all my data. Performance - these specs can be found online. But I will say I saw no lag or issue on multiple games played from the drive. Saw no difference in load time. I recommend this for the PS5. Originally bought a WD Black, but after comparison and record for durability between the 2 companies, this was a better choice for me. I keep the console until the 6 somes out.

Bought this for PS5. I am not a Call of Duty player so 1TB seems the right size. Very easy to install. PS5 recognized it as soon as I started it up and formatting it was simple. I have a pair of smaller games installed on it and they work perfectly. Unlike the installed original PS5 SSD, the formatting takes up very little space leaving 1000.1 GB usable for games. you can transfer games between drives. You cannot transfer the PS5 operating system or game saves to this drive. After formatting, the PS5 tested this drive showing a read speed of 6558 Mb/sec. That is slower than the 7000 Mb/sec claimed but remember that this drive can be used on some modern PCs and the PS5 operating system may have a slight bottleneck. The PS5 requires an add-on SSD drive to have a read speed of at least 5500 Mb/sec so this SSD easily meets that.

This ssd is totally worth it. First opening up my PS5 and installing it was super easy and took 2 minutes. Formatting for the PS5 was quick and easy as well. What blew me away was how fast my God of War Ragnarok game loaded up. It was almost instant compared to the internal drive the PS5 comes with. This add was absolutely worth getting. So to summerize, quick and easy install with a snap and tightening of a screw. The card fit perfectly in the storage compartment with heat sink. Formatting it and getting it ready to use with my ps5 was quick and easy and games load up super fast almost instantly to quickly get back to your game. Love it and would definitely recommend to any consumer looking to upgrade their pc or PlayStation console.

Got this for my PS5 a several months ago and I've had no issues with it so far. It's fast, running as fast as the PS5's internal SSD. I've had no issues running anything on it. Installation was easy for the most part. The only issue I had was my PS5's SSD Screw wouldn't come out so I had to special order another screw/spacer for this as this SSD does not come with an installation screw. So you should be aware of that before purchase, otherwise you'll be waiting to install this.

Got this SSD for extra storage for my PS5. This one was a little pricey, but in line with most other SSD’s this speed and came with an integrated heat sink so I can be sure I am getting the maximum performance. Fit perfectly in the slot on my PS5, easy to install, and lightning fast load times for the games I installed on it!

Watched tons of YouTube videos to figure out the best drive for my PS5. Turns out this was the best and greatest value. Bought 3 years ago and still going strong and works great! Highly recommend

Definitely a must have given the PS5 doesn't offer much space out of the box. These fluctuate in price frequently. You can find one fairky cheap when there are major sales throughout the year. Great read/write speeds so games will load fast

I got one for me and this for a friend. I was right there when he unboxed it and installed it. It was as easy as mine. Again, what i'm most impressed with is the speed at which the console boots even with an additional or extra storage attached.

Simple installation and works excellent. Does exactly as advertised, has allowed me to have a plethera of games downloaded at the same time. 10/10 would recommend

Incredibly easy to install. It’s exactly what I needed to more than double my PS5’s internal memory. The heat synch was already installed on the chip which was a surprise.

Bought this ssd to expand storage in my PS5 digital edition and it worked as advertised out of the box. Was fairly easy to install and I had zero issues with my PS5 recognizing, formatting and using it. Moving games from the internal ssd to the Firecuda was extremely fast, and had zero issues playing those games, as expected.
