Read/write speeds are very fast in the consumer/prosumer space. negative is that Seagate doesn't have anywhere near good/easy to use software as Samsung does and hopefully they make a lot of changes to it.

It smokes the Samsung 980 Pro. Read /write speed registered at 6800Mb/s the Samsung Pro 980 hit 5500. The winner is obvious. All my games on on it and I wait for nobody to play what I want, when I want to play. No transferring. ;)

My PC is noticeably faster with the Seagate Firecuda 530 2TB! Highly recommend this product if you can afford it. I'm very happy with mine!!

The best part is that Best Buy has videos on their website with step by step instructions on how to install which I was worried about. Couldn't be happier.

Bought it at $400, but Best Buy dropped the price by $50 two weeks later and they price matched it! It's a trusted brand, so I'm okay with the premium price tag. It's a one time purchase.
