Be careful

The ps5 installed it asap . Transfered games to new hard drive with no problem , then played them . 2 days later went to play a game and the ps5 would not reconize the hard drive . So I transfered everything back to ps 5 hard drive and games played perfectly . I'm sure this a great hard drive this one must have been a fluke . Just warning you to be careful when purchasing !

Great, until it breaks

When I pulled the drive, it was other worldly hot, but I hadn't been using the drive at all before this.

SSD ISSUE

I put my PS5 in rest mode and it crashed overnight. Next day I tried reformatting the SSD twice and both times crashed the PS5 at 13%

Get the Samsung

I'm at around 6300 despite it advertising 7300/6900. Maybe the PS5 is inaccurate or it is limited by the hardware in other ways, but what's the point of paying more for a faster SSD in theory if it can't even reach that speed in a benchmark? Too late for me to swtich, but I'd just recommend getting something cheaper like the Samsung and just call it a day.

Disappointed in read speed

Manufacture date of 5/22 so I would think it is updated for the latest firmware.

DOA SSD
