I have reformatted both drives many times and have done a lot of research. I have basically the same results from both drives 5530-6830. This is only formatted speeds and does not reflect in game use speeds. load times are with in 1/2 to 1 sec of each other, sometimes the FC is faster sometimes the pro. Conclusion is any of the top 4 brand are the same and faster than the ps5 so price per amount of storage is best. After all storage is the goal.

No issues after almost a month. 2TB was within my budget, I wanted reliability, and I wanted an SSD with a heat sink. Instal time was 5-10 minutes. Transfer of data from PS5 Hard drive to SSD took less than 35 minutes of <700gb. Overall I am satisfied. Cons: Did I pay for the name? Yes, but at a little more sacrifice of faster (milliseconds) load time. Value is subjective, and this purchase cost almost as much as the PS5.

Great PS5 drive for the slightly more-than-casual

I have not noticed any lag whether using win LAN, WiFi, or offline connections. Some games load with increased speed over the standard 1TB drive. But I’m also a slightly -more-than-casual player.

A Good Upgrade
