With how fast this SSD is and the extra storage space I can have more PS5 games installed in my console than constantly moving them from my exteral hardive.

Just follow the instructions and you be done in like five minutes. These sell out all the time so if your thinking about it stop and just get it you will not regret it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Drive worked flawlessly for 1 year and then stopped working suddenly in january. I contacted warranty since it has a 3 year warranty. They said it comes with free data recovery and that the process for recovery and replacement was 30 days.. HA! It took 60 days for data recovery to say it couldnt be recovered and as of today (120+ days since filing the claim) i still havent gotten a replacement. Ive i’ve reached out multiple times asking for an update and every time I am told oh it’s almost ready for shipping. Oh we will check with the warehouse and get back with you. Oh I will escalate this problem and see what’s going on etc. etc. yet I never hear anything back, fortunately I had a spare drive i could use while I waited for the warranty replacement.  it’s absolutely ridiculous that I am waiting this long and no one can seem to tell me why so if you were purchasing this drive or any Seagate Drive just understand that as long as it works, it’s good but beware if you have a warranty claim you will most likely be waiting a very, very long time, which is unacceptable for something that cost as much as this when there are many many competitors out there that have either better or comparable performance for a much lower price tag that is why I am giving it one star.

More than what I use it for but hey it’s great! Cannot go wrong with them working with EKWB. For those who don’t know they are well known in the cooling community therefore that drive is built to stay cool under load!

FireCuda 530 - A Worthy Upgrade

Installation and formatting was a fairly simple process. After roughly two weeks of use, games load at optimal speeds with no noticed lag between scenes and during gameplay.

Amazing SSD that is Reliable

The SSD is marketed for PS5 but works fine in a PC as well. Everything was pretty much plug and play on PC you may have to format it but is a quick and simple process,
