I use it to store games and then transfer it on to the Xbox series x hard drive instead of having to redownload all the games.

Works Great as a Time Machine Backup Drive

With a Time Machine backup, speed is not an issue: you need a highly reliable HDD that will provide stable, longterm backups that can be made incrementally over time.

The only issue I have is that with the new Xbox’s you cannot use it for the high quality games. But it’s perfect to save games on then transfer to the console when you’re ready to play.
