Easy to use and make things easier for my game storage

When I first got it , it was great !! I was able to download all the games I needed to on there & was able to easily access them. After a year of having it , it stopped coming on & whenever I plugged it up it made a humming/buzzing noise (3rd picture is proof). I even brought a new cord for it thinking it might have resolved the issue but it still didn’t work . The drive completely stopped working & I was told There’s no way to save the data on their so I lost all of the downloads I had on there. Now I have to spend another $60-$100 on a new hard drive for my Xbox.

The sea gate hard drive works but not for all games on the next gen Xbox console.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, this hard drive stopped working almost immediately after it was connected. We found, after the fact, that it doesn't have good reviews.

Work for couple months and decide start beeping. Found out it’s because not getting enough power and told need just be replaced. Waste of money.

I have had two of these models and they both failed on me. One lasted 6 months and the other broke within a month. These specific drive are hit or miss. I’m returning mine tomorrow.

Easy to install, lots of space, powered entirely by USB, and quite tiny. The colors don't really match the Xbox One, would prefer it was black, but that's minor. You can put it wherever you want, even hide it out of sight. It's also in my experience faster than the HD inside the Xbox, so I just install everything to it by default.

My son’s 500gb Xbox didn’t have nearly enough storage to hold all his favorite games. I had no idea that games can sometimes take from 30gb to 90gb or more of storage. My son would have to delete games to load another he wanted to play. It could take a long time to download the game he wanted to play especially when he is ready to play, he has a restricted time limit for video games each day, and his friends were waiting. This external drive was the perfect solution! The price was reasonable and now I see it was well worth it. It was easy to hook up and begin using. I can’t be more specific because my 11yr old did it all. He had room for all his games and still plenty of space left. He can play what he wants when he wants. It is small and thin and hardly noticeable so it doesn’t add any clutter. He is very happy, I’m very happy!

Installation is very simple (insert the cable) and following Xbox tabs will allow you to transfer your games from Internal to External drive. The transfer process is a lot faster than I expected. I was 70% full on my 1 TB and the 2 TB hard drive brought me down to the 20% range. These drives are a must with the memberships that allow you to own/rent multiple games per year (EA Access, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Gold). They are also becoming very important with the advent of bigger file sizes (Xbox X 4k games). I would probably get the 4 TB if you are upgrading an Xbox X and stick with the 2TB for Xbox One and X Box One S unless you own a huge library or plan on future proofing yourself. Be aware that they also now have a white version of this hard drive that comes with a trial for X Box Game Pass. You may also be able to get similar results with other non X box branded hard drives.

I purchased this item in April 2020 it stopped working 10/2021 today this cost me $80 plus dollars I need a replacement

Easy to set up, tons of space, small, lightweight, and fast speeds make this a great buy.

Let's be honest 500gb and even just 1tb of internal memory isn't going to cut it anymore. If you are a gamer with a nice size library of games, odds are that you are going to run out of memory (now that games are required to be installed on your hard drives before you can play them). With 2tb added to your memory your mind will be more at ease when it comes to worrying about running out of memory. It is so easy to use as well, just plug it in to the box of your Xbox one (or 360) and BAM more memory! The only complaint that I have is that the only reason why it is a little more expensive than a regular Seagate external drive is because it has the Microsoft Xbox color and brand on it. If you can spare the extra money go for it, but if not just buy the regular 2tb Seagate external drive and save some cash. They work exactly the same.

The seagate external hd configured for Xbox 360 & Xbox one really delivers. No manual needed. Plug it in and it configures with your console in seconds giving you 2 terabytes of storage for only 99 bucks- Totally worth it. Get one!

Got this seagate for my xbox one , only had a 500gb HD so I needed some more . Got this one and it was 2 TB for only $99 ! Great price and great product . Was very easy to install .

With just 5 games my 500GB xbox was 98% full. Shopped for this drive and it really is as simple as plug it and it does its work. I have 21 games now including Halo5, COD BO3, Fallout, Witcher, Tomb Raider, Forza, Just Cause3, Fifa15, etc, etc, etc in this small hard disk. Great product!

If you're reading this you probably bought a 500gb console and found out you couldn't hold all your games. I ran out of space on my 500 gb console and spent days researching the various drives available. If you want a no hassle way to clear up space on your console THIS is the way to go. A lot of the other external hard drives must be formatted on a PC prior to using it on your console. This was a simple plug and play and I was loading games onto it in 10 minutes. Now I have all of my games on it and still have 1.7 GB left to use!

The best price was at Best Buy, set up was a snap it does itself. You get so much room to store your stuff, the color may not be great but who looks at that when you're into gaming? I hear you can use any external hard drive as long as they are 3..0, but this item is manufactured to use with the Xbox.

This external hard drive is very quick and easy to set up. The actual available space is 1.8tb but it still has plenty of space for most libraries. The best part is you can use it on other Xbox Ones so you can play your games on another system without having to install them again. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to expand their storage space or would like a portable drive for use on different Xbox One systems. 5 out 5 stars
