This is my entry into drives for NAS'. So far, so good. A little noisy, but that is just how HDDs are.

I purchased 2 of these to use in a mirror setup in 2022. They are working wonderful so far. They store family photos and videos. Being spinning disks, the speed is limited, though reasonable. Because they are primarily for archival purposes, they do exactly what I need and run fast enough.
The item installs with SATA cable.

These NAS drives offer a great value, are reliable, and support up to eight bays at a speed of 180MB/s and workload of 180 TB/yr. They also come with a 3-year warranty.

This TV has a great picture, its very bright, with an excellent contrast ratio, and beautiful colour.
The only gripe I have is something common with pretty much all led backlit LCD tv's, that is dirty screen. The thing is though... it doesnt HAVE to be there, it can be made so hardly anything is visible, if the company took the time to do it. So its kind of pot luck.... you may get a screen with nothing noticeable... or you may get a screen with shadow lines noticeable in moving pictures and sports..... however to be fair, you dont ever see it when there is plenty going on or not looking at a screen of snow, grass, sky etc. (single colours and shades are when you tend to see it)
For me, this is why it misses out on 5 stars, because the picture itself, the features such as usb etc (although it plays less video formats via usb hdd than earlier samsung models... mkv for one, will not play through this tv usb).
contrast is great, the menu is snappy, colours are great and has a lovely wide gamut for hdr.
Asthetically its very nice, and viewing angles are much improved.
Im happy with my purchase... yet for almost $2000, that dirty screen..... shouldnt be there.... because frankly... it doesnt need to be.

I had a drive fail in my NAS drive - so was looking for a replacement. The ironwolf fits the bill nicely.
Its fast, quiet and slotted into my RAID configuration with no problems at all. combine all that with the price and you have a winner!!!

We run a Synology 2 bay station for our network server and another off site 2 bay station for backup & redundancy. We started getting warnings of disc degradation. After all, these discs are running 24/7/365. Our IT guy recommended these specific NAS drives to replace our aging drives. They just popped in and started copying our files. Now, we’re good for another 5+ years if reliable service. A little noisier than our previous drives, but we also upgraded from 3tb to 8tb. Larger drive. Larger fan needed.

If you have a system to back up your files, phone, iPad, etc., at home, then you could use a drive like this.
I have a Synology Network Attacked Storage device that allows one to add drives or replace drives when one goes bad. Since it runs all day and all night, you want drives that are built to run 24/7/365 and not ones that are meant for a PC that gets shut down when you aren't using it.
Ironwolf series is highly rated.
