5 star security and ease of use. I highly recommend.

I originally been using WB hard drive and I decided to give this a try. This was such a big upgrade from my 8 year old hard drive i been using. It looks nicer, slimmer, and works well. I recommend this hard drive from Seagate if you need one.

I returned to get more terabytes. Best Buy did not have a Seagate with more terabytes.

I already owned the Seagate One Touch portable hard drive and have purchased this second one as a gift for my grandson who is now attending college.

These always work great and they are reliable. Very happy with the price point. Will order more in the future.

This has work out very well as a quick plug-in for backing up my MacBook.

I had to send this to a family in another country. And it was not working. I could not return because it was past the return period.

Bought this seagate external hdd to supplement an old WD unit. After backing up all my laptop's data to the seagate, I attempted to recover it on a 2nd new laptop, but the seagate would not allow me to do so; it only wanted to back up the new laptop. Repeated attempts to recover my data caused the seagate to merely run me around in circles, and I am unable to recover my data. Subsequent contact with seagate's customer "service" was zero help; the person there kept advising me to try the same functions the hdd' menu stated, and with the same result---nothing. I'll be returning this useless item soon, and will never buy any seagate product again, nor will I recommend any. The only reason for 1 star is that there is no option for zero stars.

I am not happy with this item. There are too many steps required to back up. My previous Seagate was kept plugged in and it backed up 1x daily.

Worked for all of 10 seconds. Now no matter what computer of game system I plug it into it won't be recognized.

I've owned 3 of these and all have ceased working in under a year, my brother has owned 2 and had the same experience. I tried every possible fix by Seagate and nothing worked for any of them. Poorly made, unreliable, and all as useful as a brick.

If u are light game player it’s for u but if ur Heavy gamer u might want 5tb

This product is very strong, it has fallen multiple times-everything is still on the hard drive!
