Nice and compact! I plan on backing up my photos and photoshop files.

My wife asked me to order this while I was out of town and she'd pick it up. 2 weeks later when I got home, i picked it up lol. Then, she just keeps moving it around, still in it's box with order pick up label still on it. Smh anyway, I imagine it will work fine. Was priced reasonably. That's about all I can without opening it up.

It's great, I needed more storage for my new PC and the external hard drive with 2 terabytes is serving me well. I recommend this if you need more storage for things like games or other files like music, photos, and videos. If it's on sale, and you need more storage then go for the buy. I just hope it last a long time.

Easily installed and ran without any issues. I previously bought a WD and it would not install. Happy that the Seagate worked like a charm.

Highly recommend that everyone has a portable HD to back up their important documents and photos. I also back up my full Itunes folder. The last thing you want to do is have a HD crash and lose everything. Besides the lost of memories since photos can not be replaced, it would takes weeks to set up my digital music to its current state. I have not had any issues with Seagate HD and I have several. Plug it into the USB port and it ready to use. (as a side note: I actually have a backed up my photos to a couple of HD to be on the safe side.

This external drive was exactly what we needed! Small and light with a great color for the whole family. The price was also great for it being a 2TB drive.

I haven't actually used this yet. I bought this to offload pictures off of an old drive. It's large enough to hold my data from 2 different hard drives. Great drive for the price!

Purchased one of these on a deal of the day and it is amazingly fast and quiet. I have it partitioned as a Time Machine Backup and Media storage drive on my Mac mini using APFS formatting. If you reformat it, make sure to make a copy of all the items on the drive (even the hidden files) before hand so you have access to the included software and icons for the drive afterwards. 2 TB is plenty for me using it as a general purpose storage drive and temporary holding space before things usually get sent to my 8TB NAS for archiving.

Nice little backup drive to off load photos and videos. Plugged in nicely, and HP laptop recognized it easily. Now I am confident my too many photos are backed up safely

It was easy to connect and system recognized the device without any issue. It comes with application to automate and also configure the folders for backup. Nice cool color (different than very common black one). I already had 2 TB Seagate Backup Plus that I am using from last 5-6 years without any problem. Bought this one as additional backup of photos and other documents in case other one gets corrupt accidently.

I needed a portable hard drive and this really fits the bill

I've used this hard drive for about 3 weeks and I've had no issues! I have not stored anything on it yet as I mostly use it as a scratch disk for the Adobe creative suite on my Macbook. It has worked perfectly for that purpose, however, I did have to reformat it which took some research for me to figure out how to do that. However, once I figure that out, it has been smooth sailing! I definitely recommend it if you need something to run other programs on if your computer's scratch disk is full.

It’s compact and very easy to use. It is very handy if someone wishes to carry while traveling. It solves my purpose well .
