    Simple to set up- have not tried to "password protect" yet since I keep at home. Software provided makes set up easy. Backup automatically with minimum fuss.

    Purchsed this drive to backup my son’s laptop. The usb-c is only a hub thing for connecting other devices . You can only connect the drive with USB 3 cable to USB-A port on your PC or Mac.

    Fast and quiet on my desk. I use it for Mac time machine backup at any moment. Every time start backup I can heard it, but at least no hi pitch. My environment is silent. Highly recommend.
