I was getting QUITE uncomfortable with the 700+ (!!) watt spikes in power draw I was seeing under heavy GPU load after upgrading to my 5800x/3080 FE since I was only running a Corsair CX750m. As far as I'm concerned that's MUCH too close for comfort, especially at today's GPU prices! I had been planning on grabbing a Corsair RM850 (which would have been fully adequate) BUT then I was semi-shocked to see this pop up in stock at my local store so I jumped on it. Normally this would be regular "retail" price but we're still quite a ways from "normal" so instead it was a terrific deal.

Great PSU maybe a little overkill for my setup but good to have. Picked up the 850W prior but I should’ve just got this first for only $40 more.

Love Seasonic! I must say this is a very quality product. 10-year warranty! Comes with cable ties and a bag to store extra cable ties.

Not sure quite what to write when you are getting the best of the best in Computer ATX power supplies. Cables are good but I used the Cable Mod cables instead. Quiet, efficient, reliable, while generating very "clean" and exact power levels to your rig. The cost may be a bit hard to justify to some, but you have to look at this as an investment that will last quite a few years. All this, and backed with a 12 year warranty. What is not to like?

This psu worked for me. I haven't had any issues with it so far. I have heard good things about the brand Seasonic, and Best Buy had it at the best price I could find. I would have purchased an EVGA one instead, but they weren't in stock near msrp from a reputable seller, so I got this instead.

Powers my i9 10850k and RTX 3080 with no issues, runs cool and quiet. Doesn’t come with a 12 pin adaptor for RTX cards which is crazy for the price i’m paying, but you can contact Seasonic and they will send you one.

The Prime TX is overbuilt and delivers very clean and efficient power. They're great power supplies - just wish they came with individually sleeved cables but hey that's what aftermarket is for :)

Seasonic is a reputable brand, and this product does not stray from that reputation. I bought it so I could have extra overclocking headroom for an i9-10900k and an rtx 3090, and this psu has done its job without any problems.

Not as good as corsair. Still a quality PSU, but i feel like corsair makes a better quality product
