Not Durable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this system installed in my 2016 Ford F-150. It lasted roughly 6 months then started turning on and off sporadically. Now the remote start does not work and the panic alarm is silent.

I wish to buy this Viper security alarm but one thing i need to know that, I don’t need the remote start connection. Can i use this only for security alarm ?? And could any one help me to know from where i can install this this device? I stay in silver spring. So is there any device installation center? I am asking your cooperation on this query. Thanks in advance.

Literally can’t self-install

But no, Directed actually requires you to be an authorized dealer before you can create a tech account in order to set up and configure this system with their app or online tool. I’ll be returning this and will buy a system from a different manufacturer.
