I bought a used GoTrax Rival from a friend and it didnt seem big enough for me. (I'm 6'4, 220) It was just a tid bit slow, it struggled getting up hills. It didnt get very many miles before it was dead. (6 miles). So I was ready for an upgrade. I did research and people spoke highly of the Segway Max. I came acrosss a comment that said they wish they had waited and pre-ordered the Max G2. So I did just that! I waited until the last minute. $799. It came about a month laster. This scooter has it all. Plenty of power, just enough speed, plenty of range and I dont feel like I'm riding a kid's toy. The app is easy to set up. Has Apple Find my built in along with a security alarm. I absolutely love it!!!

This little machine is amazing! Very fast and ready to go right out of the box. It helps me cut down on the gas I am using during my daily commute to work (2.5 miles from my house). It accelerates very quickly. The only annoying bit is you have to push off from the ground fairly hard to get the motor to engage, you can't simply press the accelerator. (but that also might be a safety feature so the machine does not speed off if you unintentionally hit the accelerator while waiting for your turn to go at a stop light or such thing)

Never thought about getting an electric scooter but Best Buy had this one for $799 if i pre-order it and i gave it a try. This scooter is awesome. The features i like the most are the suspension, lights, alarm and that you can us Find My app on your iphone to see where the scooter is. I weight 220lb and this scooter move pretty good. I dont know how good would be the range i would able to get but im pretty sure it will be at least 20 miles and im happy with at least that. I will recommend this scooter to anyone.

The best option I could have made is to have bought my Ninebot Segway scooter. I use it every day to go to work, it's fun, fast and durable.

Amazing, a very fast scooter 3 different modes. We did our research trying to get the best fit for us and we are so glad we found it at our local store and we bought it. Its worth every penny.

I’m really happy with this e-scooter. It was easy to set up, and it’s both practical and fun to use. I found it on sale at just the right time when I was in need of transportation. With several miles ahead of me and the sun starting to set, I decided to give it a try. Before long, I was on my way, making good time and turning a typical drive into something much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this scooter for anyone looking for a reliable, efficient ride.

Had the 1st Ninebots. Too harsh with no suspension. Sold it within months. Now 3 years later this is way improved. Super comfy suspension with very good power. I don't have any complaints. Just a fyi. Don't update to firmware 1.7.6. caused me to lose torque and off the line power. I have 1.7.0 now and it's great feeling. If updating firmware go to Reddit get some advice lots of advice and don't update blindly if you are already happy with the performance.

I was looking to purchase my first electric scooter and I choose Segway because of their reputation of quality products. This scooter has been more than i thought it would be. If i could ride it everywhere I would. The speed, battery life and and overall comfort i give this a 10+. I really satisfied with my purchase

Really good scooter range wise, i used it to commute to school abd i d definitely recommend it to highschoolers or college students to move around campus or commute

I upgraded from my first escooter a Gotrax GXL2 where I realized it was struggling with my weight. And my neighborhood in Central NJ has more varied inclines, dealing with suburban street traffic, potholes, and to commute to work occasionally where I'm anxious about battery life. The Ninebot Max G2 feels less like an toy and more like a vehicle's imo. It's more sturdy, better handling, can handle different road conditions and it's smooth. I feel more seen on the road with an working breaklight, turn signals and a brighter light. I'm 5'8“ and I don't feel fatigued or feel my feet is crowded when ridding the scooter or feeling every bump on the road or sidewalk The only drawback is the weight. Most of the weight imo is in the back where the motor is located. So if you live on a walkup or take transit where u need to lift the scooter up and your not use to lifting 55+ lbs you're going to struggle. Kinda wish the turn signal button wasn't too close to the horn button, I keep hitting it accidentally. If the horn button was located on the right side handle it would have been a better placement. Aside from those two things I recommend the scooter if your want a scooter for a last mile commute to work and home and if you want a scooter for leisure riding.

Even with this being my first scooter i can confidently say this will replace my car commuting to university. It breaks really fast, is really quick in sports mode, and has great range, as well as an impressive app compared to other scooters. By far the best bang for your buck.Would recommend again! Just perfect.

Excellent e-scooter. It is fast, responsive. Suspension is great and helps absorb those bumps. In dire situations, breaks do not stop the scooter fast enough I feel. The mileage estimation shown on the app seems far off from what you actually get. I use it to commutw to office which is about 2.5 miles frommy apartment. I charge it to only 80% as recommeneded in the app for daily use. I aleays use it in sport mode. At 80% battery, the app shows that I can get 20 miles in sport mode. However, what I have noticed is I can only commute to office twice and the battery reaches to about 10-20%. So realistically I get about 10-12 miles out of it in sport mode. That is 50% of what they claim. The terrain to my office is pretty balanced except for slope for about 200 ft with decent elevation. Still very mediocre performance of battery despite their ridey-long technology claim.

Never even rode a scooter. Maybe back when I was like 10 or so. Been along time. Did a lot of research on which scooter to get and finally came to the decision of getting this. I’m a newbie to scooters and I was riding this in no time. I weigh 200 and this scooter does great with my weight. I was seeing people complaining about the speed and that it differs. Well u have to figure in your weight and what mode u have it in. It’s not a car. It’s a scooter. Different things come into play. I love the app. U can track ur ride and it even gives u a detailed look at ur rides. If you’re in the market for a new scooter this is the one to get. I wouldn’t say this would be right for an under 14 kid. Love it

I bought it on presale for the $899 and I'm over-all very satisfied. Its my first scooter and the suspension is amazing. There are a few issues id like to address. The box says 900 w but is supposed to be 1000 w. Im still trying to figue that part out. The app will sometimes deactivate the energy recovery without notice which is a hazard if you are counting on it for braking! There seems to be a limitation to the speed when under a certain range of battery. Hopefully future updates will fix this. The built in horn is nice for alerting pedestrians or cyclists on the road but i added a car horn to speak the same language as cars, the built-in horn just is not loud enough.
