    At first I didn’t really care for the scooter but so glad I kept it. It has great battery life and so much fun. I’m 50 yrs old but it makes me feel like a teenager riding it.

    I weigh 225 and it pulls ALL hills. I haven’t met a hill yet that it cant pull. The ride is excellent and the design is great!

    AMAZING PRODUCT! Overall its a super fun scooter! It handles well in most terrains even snow(ive done it). Charges in a resonalble time frame. Downside is the battery goes down pretty quick on Sport Mode(expected but not this fast). The charge to play time ratio sesms backwards. Very comfortable scooter, rides smooth and quick. Only front brakes so keep in mind. Over all 9/10 Id buy again

    The delivery of the scooter was fantastic. My expression was satisfactory . When opening the box of the scooter, it was shocking, since it met all the expectations mentioned in the Best Buy store. The store's accessor was very well informed about the scooter. I thank the Best Buy store for its good customer service. Thank you, I feel good to have bought at Best Buy.

    So i was very excited to buy my very first Electric kick scooter from a company that apparently has an excellent reputation. I preordered my Max G2 for the $799.99 price and overall i do think it's worth that price but not more than that based on my issues. This is where things go down hill. I picked up my scooter on 07/01/2023 and immediately activated it out of the box as i wanted to charge it and do any necessary firmware updates needed to have the max G2 at its best. Well, when i registered the Max G2 the app said the Max G2 already had 3 miles on the odometer which i was confused as i didn't know how that could be possible if the scooter is 100% new in the box which was sealed with straps and tape and had zero physical damage and no signs of use on the tires so 3 of those miles based on the images im sharing are not mine, perhaps it was some testing done at the factory and whoever worked on it just forgot to reset the mileage used before shipping it out. Anyway, i am very disappointed with my purchase and the serious lack of support that i have gotten from segway for my Max G2 as i have tried reaching out via social media and gotten zero replies from anyone regarding my questions of the random temp problem. So far no one has reached out to me, i even tried contacting the segway store in los angeles and they also ignored my social media messages, emails and voice mail messages. I have documentation proof for that by the way. I find the lack of support disappointing and no different from any other overseas manufacturer when it comes to product support. I wanted to hand this scooter down to my son when he gets a little older and upgrade to the latest GT flagship model as he is in middle school and could definitely benefit from having a scooter like the Max G2 for school commuting because his school is only 2 miles away one way and the high school he will be attending in 3 years is 5 miles away one way vs me using it with very heavy fast speed traffic, i definitely need something way faster for my commutes but based on the bad performance and random shut offs of the motor i keep getting with the (HI) temp warning on the scooter display with or without slight inclines that dont exceed what the Max G2 can do on paper i find it very annoying to be dealing with. Ive only been able to use my Max G2 in Sport mode because if i use it on drive mode or eco mode the HI Temp warnings appear faster if the max g2 feels any kind of incline negative force. So you need that extra power to keep moving or it will give the HI Temp warning. Now to be fair like i mentioned earlier i am 260Lbs but i am well withing Segways max payload for the MAX G2 so im not sure if its my weight that is the problem but ill lose some weight if it is, im doing it right now as it is anyway but disappointing because the only people not having issues are riders under 200lbs which i believe the Max G30 has a max Payload of 220Lbs? Ive seen reviewers on youtube having this experience as well but they dont mentioned their setting on the Max G2. Like i noticed if i put the regenerated braking on Medium or High the scooter overheats faster than if set to weak so i have mine on weak, i wish there was an OFF option to see if that helps with temp problems. Other things the reviewers dont mentioned is their weight which is probably to avoid shaming but they also dont mentioned how much gear do they have on, do they have any heavy accessories on their ninebot which increases the weight etc? Are they also going on inclines? Whats the temp during the riding time etc. Well, unfortunately for me i only had a 15 day return window and that just wasnt enough time to give Segway a chance to fix the problems with firmware updates. I got my Max G2 because I own two Black & White Ninebot Go-Karts for almost 3 years now and even with my 260lbs weight i have never had overheating issues with the S Motor the only issue I've had has been a shorter battery life but since i weight more than the max capacity of the gokart that makes 100% sense right? Heavier rider=less run time. On the Ninebot Max G2 it doesnt make sense and honestly im regretting not returning my Max G2 now because im stuck with it and at the mercy of Segway via firmware updates that may or may not fix the issue. i feel that my Max G2 may have a possible hardware problem but im not a tech so im not really sure what is going on. It has been hot at 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside but at night its gone as low as 64 Degrees so seeing this issue happening even with cold temps is not looking so well at the moment. As of right now unless i ride this scooter on a completely flat street with zero inclines i wont be able to use this at all for my commuting. Look, over all the scooter looks very well made and i really LOVE the design, all thw wires are hidden and it looks very premium and i want to like it but this HI temp issue is a real problem. Here is what im experiencing: it shut down the motor from moving at 35C, once i walk with it for literally 30 seconds to 1 minute, i can ride it again like nothing happened, then it shuts down again at 40C and go through the same process then again at 43C then its fine after that temp and then again at 45C and at 46C everything is fine again. I just dont get it. These random shut down temps are confusing. I would like to know where exactly is the temp sensor located? Is it on the motor, the motherboard or the battery? Is it on all three locations? How doe the ninebot calculate the temp and then shut its self down for safety? One last thing, please Segway, can you please update the app so that we can use Fahrenheit for the MAX G2? Currently there is no way to change that. Also please share more information on how the Max G2 calculates its Hi Temp warnings and where the sensor is located to keep that area cooled etc. Im sure this will work out for my son 2 years from now but im the current owner of it, and it's just not working as it should be for me.

    Excellent scooter. I use it daily, and it's much improved from my last model the G30 max. Which is still great, but I use this one. I love the shocks!!!

    Great and convinent form of transportation with essential safty features including turning lights, antisplit wheels and antitheft digital code. It was a little pricey but you pay for quality.

    We love the scooter. If its hot outside, over 100 degrees, the scooter only goes up to 20 MPH. The screen does got hot when you ride for a long time or its over 90 degrees outside. Other than that we love our scooters.

    I first got the the G2 Max as a gift back in December, it was so much fun at first! Then two weeks later, the speed couldn’t go faster than 16mph. It failed me. After that, we went to back to Best Buy for an exchange. The second model out of the box had the same issue, only this time after I set everything up, it couldn’t go over 16mph on the first day! Then, we gave it another exchange, and the third model dod the exact same thing!! It is outrageous. Avoid getting this model, you’ll never know if your local best buy received a batch of good G2 Maxes or a bunch of crappy ones. This model overall is great because of the suspension and handle bar width and everything else that makes it a revolutionary vehicle, but the firmware updates killed all the joy. Other customers too got the same issues after using it for a while. I would have recommended this scooter model if production on all of the units were more consistent. Just awful.
