It got damaged easily when I tried to transport the scooter up to my apartment

Introduction: The electric scooter I recently tested delivered an exhilarating experience, combining impressive performance with a user-friendly design. Performance: The scooter handled city streets with ease, offering swift acceleration and maintaining speed even with my 220 lbs weight. Its long-lasting range ensured extended rides without frequent recharges. Ease of Use: While generally user-friendly, switching drive modes could be smoother, requiring a double-tap on the screen button. Build Quality and Design: Sturdy build quality and sleek design contributed to both aesthetics and functionality, offering a comfortable ride. Battery Life and Charging: The scooter's battery life impressed, but a certified fast charger capable of recharging in under 2 hours, like the available option, would be ideal. Brakes: Though decent, the brakes could be improved. During an emergency stop, they performed adequately but left room for enhancement, possibly with disc brakes. Ride Quality The ride quality surprised me. The ride felt nice and floaty like a luxury car. I hit a big crack on the sidewalk and even a deep drain cap and it soaked it up. This thing can even be a decent light off-roader. Especially since the tires are puncture-proof. Conclusion: Overall, the electric scooter offers exceptional performance and endurance, with minor improvements needed in drive mode switching, charging time, and braking performance. It's an excellent choice for commuters and enthusiasts seeking a thrilling ride. Definitely worth every penny. Also, it's very reliable. I have accumulated over 120 miles so far.

This scooter is an excellent choice for both daily commuting and recreational use. The top speed and range are as advertised, and the ride quality is noticeably smoother than my previous Segway, thanks to its front suspension and rear shock absorbers. It comes fully equipped with essential features such as a horn, brake lights, turn signals, and emergency flashers. Additionally, it can be managed via a companion app that allows for diagnostics and customization. Highly recommended.

This is my first electric scooter and I love using this instead of a car to get to and from places within 10 miles of my home. The reason I try to limit my trips to 20 miles or less is because I like to drive maximum speed (22mph) on the scooter and I have lots of hills and night driving on my trips so the battery will not last much further. The advertised maximum 43 mile range is probably true if you have a flat road, only go the eco 10mph, and drive during daytime. But for more flexible real life scenarios the range is much shorter which is fine, but it's good to know. I would love to get a more powerful scooter than this one to make longer trips and go faster but I'm glad I opted for this one because of sometimes needing to carry it up or down stairs in some situations. And due to the fact that more powerful scooters than this one were even heavier than this one and would still have to be carried at stairs made this a wise choice for me go with for the right balance of power and weight. The scooter is built with great quality and feels like a very smooth ride and I feel right at home with other cars on the road. One more thing to be mindful of is you shouldn't use the scooter in snow, rain, or ice. A lot of things I mentioned because I didn't know about these limitations before buying it, but I'm okay with them now anyways.

Bought this in 2023 when it first came out. Absolutely love it and is perfect for urban and suburban. Does 22 mph after some settings changes. Handles great, adjustable suspension for weight differences. Bright lights at night and very visible. Tires are self healing with an internal gel. 22mph is perfect to stay with traffic and visible but not too fast to get in trouble by police. Just use common sense and don't ride on sidewalks, obey traffic laws, use directionals to protect our enjoyment. Last thing we need is them banned because of a select few. I was able to get 38 miles in normal speed mode and weigh 220. Wear a helmet!

For the price I paid for the scooter it is a phenomenal by one of my favorite things about this scooter is the fact that you only need a power cable to charge it and not a brick The suspension is awesome the app is very useful and offers many features not found on other scooter or scooter apps the speed is perfect the range is adequate for day-to-day use the scooter is durable the tires are very grippy and resistant to punctures there are turn signals and a nice loud horn the handlebars are perfect the deck is large and comfortable the headlight is in the perfect spot if I had one gripe about this scooter it would be the folding latch it's annoying but it works.

There's really not a lot to complain about on the G2 as Segway seems to have addressed just about every user gripe from the original Max. The scooter is taller than the original, the rubber charging cap is gone and replaced with a nice spring-loaded waterproof latch that looks like it would be hard to break. The tires are basically run-flat tires as they now self-heal. The over-all wider stance of the scooter gives you a smoother ride when combined with the brand new full supension system. The new suspension is fantastic. In fact, the contrast from my other scooters - even the ones WITH suspension (Apollo - looking at you) the suspension on the G2 blows them away. Its just buttery road and bump absorbtion. I tested the same jarring dips I have ridden over with my other scooters during my commute and the G2 is on a whole different level. The suspension is THAT good. It's also worth noting that the stem and steering is rock-solid. Zero stem wobble and that is a welcome and rare feature. This is not my first scooter or Segway scooter. I own an Apollo Explore and the smaller light gray Segway Max. I have also ridden a wide range of scooters as well. Drawing from my previous riding experience on those other models I will say that the G2 hits the sweet-spot when it comes to an all-around commuter that is just a little playful when you want it to be. The new app is polished and bug-free. The UI is very easy to learn. The features that the G2 offers make this sub $1K scooter a must-have/no-brainer/steal/whatever. I was on the fence about what to get next (NUI MAX, Fluid Free Ridee Mosquito, Segway P-65, P100, even a GT1) and I'm so glad I got the G2. I thjought that the max speed was gonna be an issue for me personally because I like to ride fast. The truth is, 22mph is fast enough and much faster than you think if this is your first scooter. My Apollo does 33MPH and that is scary-fast on a scooter but I rarely took it to those speeds and stuck mainly around 10 to 20 MPH the vast majority of the time. There are a lot more features on the G2 that will carry it into the future like handlebar turn signals, a immobilizer with alarm, side reflectors and bright head and taillights make it a very safe choice. You can also track it's location using an Apple device - but I'm Android so I have not tested that. You also get traction control which I plan to thoroughly test next time it rains. If I had any cons I would say that its a little heavy - but not heavy enough for me to tie it off downstairs in the office I work and use a Ubolt lock to secure it to the steps railling like I did with the Explore. The G2 is sitting in my office right now, despite the 1 flight of stairs I had to climb carrying it.

Very high quality. Easy to use. Love the suspension on front and rear. Has good battery life, speed, and range (just as advertised). I fold it up and take it with me on vacation. Great to pop around to different beaches, check out the sites, go to restaurants.

We love our Segway! The smooth ride and fast acceleration is the key selling point. It is a bit on the heavier side but that helps ease any worries of build quality. Battery life seems on point too.

This scooter is perfect for what I need. It’s plenty fast, comfortable and has a nice battery life. Also it’s perfect even for some trails. My only gripe is it’s a little on the heavy side but it’s built like a tank so it’s a worthy trade off.

I’ve been riding the Segway for about a month now. This is my second scooter. The first was a cheaper Gotrax with no suspension. This Segway Max G2 is like riding on a cloud - the suspension is truly amazing. Once you ride this thing you’ll never want to ride a scooter without suspension. Top notch build quality. Performs as advertised by Segway regarding range, speed, etc. App works seamlessly with the scooter, making it easy to customize riding preference to your liking. Very stable ride. Good acceleration for the price. Also - my neighborhood has many long and steep hills and the Segway climbs them with ease. For the price - nothing comes close to the features and performance you get with the Segway. I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone looking in this price range. I like it so much I bought another one! Now I have 2.

this is a great scooter. The ride is very smooth and it excels quite quickly easily folds up to bit in your trunk or wherever else you wanna put it. It goes over bumps and things like train tracks easily. I like the blinkers, but they are kind of hard to manage but overall it’s a great scooter. I’m very glad I got it.

We originally bought this Segway scooter for the kids, but it quickly turned into something the whole family enjoys. It goes surprisingly fast and has three different speed modes, which is great because you can choose how fast you want to ride depending on who’s using it. The build quality is excellent. It feels very heavy duty and solid, not flimsy at all. It is on the heavier side, which actually adds to how sturdy and safe it feels. Battery life is impressive. It lasts a long time on a single charge and charges up quickly, so there’s not a lot of downtime waiting to ride again. Overall, this has been a great purchase and worth every penny. Fun for kids and adults alike and built to last.

Great scooter. Good power. Can easily take on rhe biggest of riders. I love the features. Good loud horn, turn signals , find my integration, app is great. It’s sooooo heavy. I can carry it but it takes a lot of effort. Forget about carrying it with you if you commute and need to carry it. Also, it’s quite large. It’s great if your want to ride with your kid. But, it’s so large it doesn’t fit in my Tesla Model 3 boot. I need to fold the seats for it to fit. The other issue I’m going to contact Segway about is, my brakes are so loud. I’m not sure if it’s because they’re drum breaks or if it’s just new and need to break in. Pros: Overall, good scooter. Build quality is exceptional (hence the weight? I can only imagine if they used lighter materials its range will be much higher), nice app, great features. Cons: Too heavy to carry, size maybe an issue if you have a smaller car, noisy brakes.

This is my very first electric scooter and I love it. I use it for commuting so far I’ve put about 65 miles on it. Charges easily and full charge takes about 5 hours. It’s durable, great quality, comfortable ride, and a lot of power I have yet to use sport mode because honestly I haven’t needed it. I’ve gone up VERY steep hills with no problem for those in the nyc area it got me up gunhill with ease and i have gone up even steeper hills which was a huge factor for me. I weigh 165 lbs and it’s been a dream to ride. The only downside is that it’s super heavy so it’s a little annoying to lug around and to get it inside. Besides that I love it and use it everyday, haven’t called a cab since I got it lol

Good scooter overall but has a few issues I have experience. I am 215lbs and have put about 30 miles on the G2 over the first week I have had it. It is great to be able to change drive modes with riding by double clicking the power button which will change your top speed and throttle response. The suspension is good at absorbing the rough road and even allows for some off road fun. Sport mode offers thrilling acceleration while eco mode is great for when you are just learning to ride. But there are some issues. I have had the scooter overheat and show error H1 while going uphill in sport mode. This probably won't happen for light riders or if in eco or drive mode that limits the max watt output to less than 600w while sport exceds 1000w as shown on the app. I did have a scary moment when I was traveling downhill full throttle approaching 22mph when suddenly the scooter regen braked hard to limit the speed from exceeding 22mph. This forced my weight forward and nearly caused me to crash. I was able to recreate the same situation shortly after. My battery level was around 50% and I believe it was trying to limit the speed to 20mph due to the lowering battery level. Overall good 4 star scooter but needs some bugs worked out to earn the 5th.

Been using it for my work commute for over a month, and it's been wonderful. Dual-suspension makes for a smooth ride, great battery-life, and a versatile range of speed. Plus it folds-up for convenient storage.
