I purchased one in June 2023 for his older brother who is 10. They both love them. Easy to put together, charge before using, they don’t get to full speed until driven about a mile. I think it may be a safety feature so the get adjusted to riding it, great value for the price and Segway is a well know name.

Would be nice if it could go a little faster or be able to adjust max speed. Also, my kid was going down a hill and I think the max speed feature caused him to fall as it was slowing him down but caused it to get a bit shaky. Otherwise it is great and he loves it!!
