This scooter is a great learning scooter for 7 yrs. And up my son loves it even if he looses balance he can react fast enough to land on his feet, but always wear safety gear just in case I highly recommend this for 7 and up. I dont like that the handle bars are not adjustable and are slightly to high that is why I say 7 and up or at least 48" rider height.
