    I recommend this item because the experience is exceptional and the speed is safe for children. I only imagined the amusement parks were able to provide a great go kart but I was wrong, Segway go kart is the bomb.

    I have not opened the box yet but I know it is going to be a blast for my kid for Christmas. Only thing I worry about is if something goes wrong. Segway has terrible costumer service. I bought the Geek squad protection on the Ninebot but not on the extension.

    Overpriced, need to be in big RED letters that it’s a kit. For $800 you get a cheap plastic go kart frame with 2 wheels, back wheels are not included an additional $400. This is not worth $1200 save your money and buy a real go Kart

Yes, the GoKart Kit was designed to work with the Ninebot S, self-balancing scooter and both products are needed. If you are looking to purchase a complete Gokart, may I recommend the Gokart PRO, which delivers an experience on par and often better than gas powered go karts.

    I purchased two go karts and they both broke within the months. Segway does not have replacement parts and I've been waiting for more than six months to get them. Make sure to buy the bestbuy warranty if you buy a Segway product. The go kart while it works is really fun to drive

      Hi Case, my apologies for the confusion. The Segway Gokart Kit is an accompanying/add-on product for the Ninebot S self-balancing scooter. Together, the two pieces create the Gokart, which performs on par with gas powered versions.

    When this item worked it was great. Super fast and very nice unit. The unit refused to turn on after 1 hour of use. The unit would not charge either. This unit might be ok but the hoverboard didn’t work well.

    Should off said it was just the kit not the whole go kart neither did employees mentioned it was just the kit,,,needs the Segway to work so the Segway is basically the motor to this no good 1399.00

      Thank you for your feedback! In the description, under Easy assembly, we mention:
      The Ninebot Gokart Kit is as easy to assemble as it is fun to ride! Simply strap on your Ninebot S, adjust your Ninebot Gokart for your height, and take off.
      Product images 6 and 7 indicate you need both a Ninebot S plus the GoKart Kit.
      You can also buy a complete package with the more powerful GoKart Pro that includes the "motor".

    Just received and assembled the Segway GoKart and Ninebot S... the GoKart is fantastic... fits my 8 year old, 11 year old, and Dad too =). The kids are spending hours a day on it... which is helpful for me while working from home. My only issue is that I only bought one... the kids now want another one so they can race each other. I also have used the Ninebot S separately from the GoKart... so it is two fun products in one purchase. Best purchase I have made in the 'new normal'!
