this game is really addictive. it is a great game to wind down and relax while playing. also the character are really funny

This is an amazing animal crossing videogame that you can take on the go on the Nintendo 3DS, it has many things to do, and a great feature is that you can play online with 3 friends, and do different minigames, if you enjoy collecting different things and rearranging them, this animal crossing adventure has you covered.

Great game can’t stop playing I would definitely recommend.

This is a great game if you liked the old ones on GameCube.

My daughter has been in love with the Animal Crossing games for several years now. She loves the characters and their different personalities, and I think she really enjoys the non-competitive, open-play, casual nature of the game, in which you spend most of your time customizing your own town and helping its residents. It's a really great time-killer for younger gamers, and now that it's a $20 "Nintendo Select," it's hard to pass it up!

Daughter loves this game. Super cute and easy to pick up and play. She has a blast running her own town as mayor!

I love this game. I wish real life making money and paying my mortgage was this relaxing and fun. I bought it for my kids but they don’t get to use it anymore so they don’t mess up my precious precious town. I’m trying to get all the town folk to move out every chance I get so I have room for more fruit tree, kids kept telling them to stay. Get this and be relaxed with way cuter versions of adulting but don’t share with the kids.

This game is perfect to just kickback and unwind after a long day. The game mechanics are simple but not so simple as to be boring. Anyone can pick this game up and play as there is almost no learning curve. Despite generally preferring more "grown up" RPGs, JRPGs, and action games, I thoroughly enjoy this game and I recommend this game to just about anyone regardless of age and of usual video game preferences.

I have been playing this on the 3ds XL I bought with it loaded on it. I have most everything collected but still enjoy playing. I am going to buy the new 2dsXL when it comes out so I wanted a physical copy for it. Also the 3ds XL I have (with animal crossing figures all over it) is getting older and will stop working some day. I am 67 and enjoy my 3ds XL games tremendously. Keeps my mind alert!!! Everyone should buy this game (make sure it is the welcome amibo copy).

I own he original and love it. The update version now supports all my amiibo collections. Great buy at discount.

If you are a fan of the Animal Crossing series, this update is entirely justified! I prefer not to have my games digitally, if you already own ACNL you will be able to download it for free -- but that being said it will take up some memory. If you are like me and would prefer to have the entirely updated game on the cartridge, then purchase this Welcome Amiibo update! I felt at $20 -- you can't even argue with the amount of content you get for the price.

The Animal Crossing franchise is just one of many on the list of Nintendo's masterpieces. Animal Crossing New Leaf launched in 2013 in the states, and 5 years later it's still one of the best games on the 3DS. You'll find yourself having no trouble sinking dozens to hundreds of hours in your virtual town. In Animal Crossing, there's something to do for everyone. At the new Nintendo Selects price, you can't beat it.

Bought for my girlfriend who isn’t much going of a gamer. There aren’t many options for non gamers that aren’t really lame or almost demeaning. Needless to say she loves it!!

Why did you give it 5 stars? I like it, it is fun!! You can set up public work projects, and ordinances because you are mayor of the whole town. I think the people in the town are nice and how every town is different. How would you explain Animal Crossing to someone who doesn't know this game? A really fun game where instead of people, you have animals in your town and you have your own house that you can decorate.

I've never played an animal crossing game, and recently downloaded the app from Nintendo, and am not too engaged with that. This is a figt for my wife and I hope she and I like it! After so many positive reviews, and being on the greatest hits collection, I don't think we will be disappointed.

Amazing game with a ton of value and content. Great gameplay and amazing story.

Purchased this for my son after he became interested in my game, so I got him his own cartridge, so we could interact. Don't know how this game does it... kind of like The Sims does... game play is very laid back, a social experience, and with my six year old, motivation to help him learn to read and increase comprehension. Note: This isn't meant to be an educational game, but can be rewarding as a simple life simulator.
