I dig the animal crossing games when I just want something mellow and relaxing. If you have never played any of the games before this is a great place to start. It's a fun life simulation game kinda like harvest Moon but less stressful... At least that's my opinion. At first glance it doesn't seem like the type of game that could keep you coming back. But there's something about it that will pull you in over and over to check in on the town and characters. If you're interested in mellow gameplay or life simulation than this is for you. If you want excitement and difficult gameplay than you should probably take a pass on this game.

My daughter loves this game, and being a kindergartener it's actually helping her read! I equate this to how IM taught so many of us true touch typing skills.

Been playing the Animal Crossing series since the GameCube iteration and this is one of the most jam packed releases of them all. It has so much content that this game is truly one that you can play forever. It's not a great game to sit down and play for hours at a time but 20 minutes a day is a good dose for this game. And it will make you want to do that too to keep up with your town.

The kids love graphics are great. Easy to played. Brilliant colors

Personally, I believe that this is the best installment of Animal Crossing that I have seen so far. Whether you are a young Nintendo 3ds owner, a 18 year old gamer, or a middle-aged parent/who loves games at heart(like me), Animal Crossing New Leaf is fun for all ages! My son and I play this game every day! I would recommend it!

Bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She was skeptical and had no clue what this was. After a few minutes she was hooked. She literally would set timers to collect shells or whatever the currency is so that she could complete certain collections of furniture. It’s ridiculous to watch but hilarious. I think it’s safe to say that she loves it

This is my third copy of the game :) I wanted to have both the old and new version of the game, so I purchase this for at best buy for a great price.

Loved New Leaf and excited to see what the amibos can do. Great price too.

This was the first “Animal Crossing” game I’ve played. It came off as a cross between SimCity, The Sims, and Harvest Moon, but that’s oversimpiflying it. It’s a cute time waster, and an affordable entry in the Nintendo Selects series. You play the role of mayor, raising funds (by collecting and selling items) to pass ordinances and build fountains and such around the town. Your job is to keep residents happy - some will come and some will go, but it’s part of the ebb and flow of the game. The game is simple for kids but engaging for adults - just don’t have the highest of expectations.

Lots to do. Fun songs. Girlfriend loves it. Get it for your girlfriends guys

I don’t know about this game I bought it as a Christmas gift, I haven’t even wrapped it, I’m sure they’ll love since they asked for it...

I've always found Animal Crossing games enjoyable - it's really easy to just pick it up and play ~1hr each day. The game is definitely pretty laid back and offers a nice stress free gaming experience. My favorite things to do are fishing and bug catching - I also like donating items to the museum and working on town projects!

I was so thrilled to receive this game! Many of the aspects are similar to the original on the Game Cube, but many things have changed. It is hard to level up the stores, foreign fruit are not worth as much, and you have to pay to travel places (like $1000 bells!). Also, I don't own any Amibos which makes some aspects of game play difficult. Overall, it is a fun game as long as you do not expect it to be like the original. I'm certain someone new to the Animal Crossing world would love it and find no faults in it. :)

I had never played an Animal Crossing game before and thought I would give this one a shot. Glad I did! I am still early in the game, but so far I find it adorable and a lot of fun! I love all the little details throughout the town and how the local interact with you. Hopefully, they'll bring a version to the Switch. Recommended!

I have had Animal Crossing: New Leaf since launch day and this was my 15th copy. It is such a fun game and compared to old iterations, there is so much more to do. It's a moderately paced game, but can be stressful if you strive for a perfect town. If you're looking for a laid-back game with no violence, this is the game for you.

This was a birthday gift for my wife(daughter's idea) . My wife loves IT!! Her first gaming system AND EVEN BETTER THIS IS HER FAVORITE GAME! She liked playing the APP on her phone but it's not as detailed as this version. Needless to say this game is worth buying=so much to do!She loves playing with my daughter .
