    I bought a swivel lamp for my drawing table. It came with a Mercury swirl bulb. I replaced the mercury bulb (you can dispose of the mercury bulbs at Home Depot) with this Smart LED bulb. it gives me enough light to draw buy.

    I’m a big fan of Sengled’s prices for these bulbs. I originally used these with a Sengled hub and that was fine and worked well with Google Home. I now use them with my own hub running on a raspberry pi and they work great with that too. I will say that even 1% on these is enough light to see quite a bit. I think other bulbs would be dimmer at that setting. It’s fine with me but if you like lights really dim for some reason then it’s something to think about.

    I've got a wild variety of smart things in my home, and I like these because they stay connected, and Alexa can make them go. On, off, brightness. What else do you need? I do have a couple of fancier ones that let me control warmth, but I keep them on full warm all the time, so what's the point? Newer models probably work as well, and they keep getting more affordable.

    These lights are amazing. You can control them with an app on your phone. No more timers or walking into a dark house. Set up is relatively easy. Only drawback is you need the hub to set up more than one. Going to try the plugs as well for my Christmas trees.

    Bought these to add voice capability to the lights on our night stands and to set up a routine. Easy to setup and works great. If a light fails to respond, simply turn the switch off then back on and the issue is fixed. Only happened once, and was easily corrected.
