Matter hub required, no app needed

There is no Singled app needed to use this. It works over 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi. To add to Apple Home, add it like any other HomeKit device and it will Join the 'Matter Fabric'. For Alexa, add it as a Matter device. Scan the QR code on the instructions manual and it works without any other requirement. Google Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant all have very similar ways of adding Matter devices. I'm also able to add it to multiple systems at the same time. Instead of using the QR code for the light bulb, go to HomeKit or Alexa and there is a setting for sharing Matter devices, then enter that code on the other (SmartThings, etc) and it will also appear there. Very quick to respond, and no 3rd party app needed.

Alright but could be better

Sengald bulbs

Half the time they drop communication with alexa. Power down then turn back on usually works. Have 6 bulbs, tell them tonturn on, maybe 4 will most of the time. Other than communication,they workngreat.

I see the light

They were were probably the easiest smart item that I've ever setup. Pretty much put the bulb in and pair it i did all 5 in less than 10 minutes.
