Good! I got them on sale, and for the price, they’re very manageable. Just make sure you EQ them in the app.

Tl;dr Sennhieser’s “value” priced wireless headphones deliver on excellent sound quality, but come up short in noisy environments. All day comfort and battery make it perfect for office or home office use. Sennhieser is a legend in the headphone industry. They made the very first pair of “audiophile” quality headphones I got in 1987. They’ve continued to innovate and to challenge Bose and Sony for the best sounding headphones on the market. The Accentum headphones are a true child of this legacy. The sound quality is natural and well balanced. While slightly bass heavy out of the box, it’s easily tweaked with the available app. They’re comfortable to wear for an extended period of time and do a decent job of blocking out office sounds. I also took them outside when I was mowing the lawn. As good as they sound, the advertised noise cancellation leaves much to be desired. It barely muffled the sound of the mower. I even heard planes going overhead. Both sounds have been blocked by the Jabra Connect 5t I often wear when doing yard work. On the other hand, these are half the price of Sennhieser’s Momentum headphones which many reviewers widely praised for their noise canceling ability. This seems to be a matter of “You get what you pay for.” For my ears, the excellent reproduction of all kinds of music is well worth the cost regardless of their noise canceling ability. Battery life is rated at 50 hours. I did not come close to drawing down the battery during the time I was using the headphones. They connect with Bluetooth by default. They’ll use the APTx standard, if your phone supports it (which my OnePlus 11 does). Other than wired, this will give you the best quality. The Accentum headphones will also work as wired headphones on devices with a USB-C output and a double ended USB-C cable. They sounded great coming through my phone and my PC. They did not sound good coming from my iPad, so I suspect that may be an Apple issue. Paired with Bluetooth, they still sounded good. Given the long battery life, I can’t imagine when will be the next time I try to plug them into my phone. Sennhieser also decided to make these a good headset. Once again, they’re not the best at noise cancellation. However, in a quiet / office environment, they picked up my voice very well and callers could hear me clearly. It was very nice not having to switch to something else when I have a meeting to attend. Two things which would make these a little better: 1) The controls cannot be customized, unlike many headphones and ear buds on the market. Even with the app installed, the only change I can make is with the equalizer. There are a couple of other gimmicky features which are only enabled if you opt in to their marketing. 2) While they’re comfortable, I’d like the ability to tighten them on my head when I’m outside. Several times when I turned my head, they pulled back a bit and let in the rest of the world. It would be nice to have more flexibility in how well they hold my head.

I love music. Having been a musician since childhood, anything that has to do with music interests me. Whether it’s a turntable, a guitar, a movie, or a pair of headphones, I am into finding and experimenting with things that make wonderful sounds. All that said, headphones are up at the top of my list because they are the tool that actually delivers the sound to your ears, and the Sennheiser Accentum headphones are an excellent choice. I’ll start by saying that there are no downsides to these headphones. If you need a logo on the side to make you feel better about the brand you are wearing, your priorities are misplaced. There is no visible branding on these headphones which makes them stealth. They are extremely lightweight, yet feel very durable and well made at the same time. In fact, this is one of my favorite things about these headphones. I own several pairs of over-the-ear headphones and these are the lightest, making them the easiest to wear for long periods of time and producing minimal crown fatigue. The sound quality is what you would expect from Sennheiser. I have known the brand for years being a musician and have used studio monitor headphones by Sennheiser for a variety of applications, including guitar monitoring, mixing, and mastering. The sound is crisp and clear. The bass may not be head shaking, but is by far enough for me personally and I actually prefer a more realistic response with my headphones. I want to hear my music the artist (or myself) envisioned, and these headphones do just that. If you want to shake your brain and bones with sub bass beats, perhaps these aren't the best choice. For users that want clean crisp sound with just the right amount of highs and lows, the Accentum headphones will get you there all day. These have great stereo separation and all instruments are clear no matter where they are placed in the mix. Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy, with no hassle or fuss. The app is a great addition for those who want to select a different EQ curve for different listening environments. It is well-designed and looks great, and it does all of the expected tasks of customizing your listening experience. The noise canceling works really well in all tests I have tried so far. Whether I am in the grocery store, or my own home, I can completely tune out of the chatter if I prefer. All in all, these are perfect for my needs. They are a great size. They are light and comfortable for long listening sessions. The battery seemingly lasts forever. The ear cups fold flat on your chest when not in use. The sound quality is excellent. They have a minimalist design aesthetic. I really can’t find anything negative to say other than I would always like to see a clam shell type case included with all over-the-ear headphones for tossing into a backpack, etc. I highly recommend checking these out at your local Best Buy if you can!

The Sennheiser - ACCENTUM wireless Bluetooth headphones offer a high quality listening experience. The headphones provide active noise cancelling that can be activated or disabled. The ear pads are large and comfortable and adjust to almost anyones head size. The sound is wonderful and the Sennheiser app provides a large selection of preset equalization presets. The app also provides the user the opportunity to adjust these presets and also the ability to create your own series of presets. Pairing was simple, just follow the instructions in the quickstart guide and you can be listening to your favorite music within ten minutes or so. If I could make one change, it would be to increase the maximum volume output of the headphones. Don't get me wrong, they have good volume, but there are times with certain songs you just want to get that extra bit of sound coming through and these are not designed to get to that ear damaging level. Actually, that probably a good thing. The bass is nice, smooth and clean. I havn't picked up on much, if any distortion, from these headphones regardless of the type of music I have listened to. These are nice, clear, concise and have a nice ability to provide bass at just the right level. I do with they were just a little louder, but they do sound really good.

Great sound, decent noise canceling, quite comfortable. It's a bit small for my head so it hurts after a while and the lowest volume is still a bit too loud at times. But overall very decent set of headphones!

Sennheiser definitely has some amazing headphone technology and design. The sound in my old Sennheiser HD1s is almost without flaw. But Sennheiser headphones have been pricey. Their ACCENTUM headphones here provide some of the quality Sennheiser sound at a much lower cost. These headphones are very lightweight and, supposedly, sport a battery life of up to 50 hours. The pads on the earpieces isolate you from outside noises effectively but are slightly uncomfortable and feel cheap. The four buttons used to operate the headphones are intuitive to use but don't guide your thumb into place very well - so the navigating buttons feel like a cheap design implementation. The app that you can use to control these headphones is fantastic. I definitely appreciate the bass boost function and five band user-controlled equalizer available to help contour sound to your liking. The Active Noise Cancellation function on the ACCENTUM is phenomenal. One of the better implementations of ANC in any headphones I have ever experienced. Ultimately, though, headphones need to be judged most critically on sound...and these sound very good but not great. Bass response is, in general, full and rich - in bass-heavy music you can feel the air moving into your ears from the headphones. But higher frequencies sound somewhat muted to me - the headphones claim to respond up to 22 kHz but it sounds like there is a significant drop off at the higher frequencies. Even adjusting equalization, I was never able to contour the sound in a way that made the higher frequencies in music come across naturally. Finally, I felt like the maximum volume available in these headphones should have been a little more aggressive - I could never get quieter music up to a level that felt like peak listening volume. These are very nice but they feel like Sennheiser was just phoning things in to hit a cheaper price point.

This is my second pair of Sennheiser Headphones. My other pair are on the high end, so I had to temper my expectations for these middle of the road ACCENTUM Wireless headphones. I’ll admit it, these headphones hold their own against their more expensive cousins. The first thing I test when I get a new set of headphones in the bass response. I have a few music tracks I use that really put sound equipment through its paces. Low quality speakers or headphones usually can’t handle deep bass at high volume; the distortion can be teeth grinding. These ACCENTUM headphones handled the bass about as well as any quality pair of headphones. While I wasn’t blown away, I was adequately impressed. The bass response was pretty clean, I didn’t notice any distortion. What really caught my attention was the quality of the high and midrange reproduction. Vocals were crystal clear; the light percussion was as crisp as a late fall New England morning . These headphones did a fantastic job of separating each instrument and vocal to allow you to really enjoy your music. Jazz listeners are in for a treat. The ACCENTUM headphones offer a large, around the ear, cuff. They sound much better, and are more comfortable than over the ear, cuffs. The around the ear feature is far more comfortable long term, and offers better sound and noise cancelling. Speaking of which, When I first got the headphones up and running, I could clearly hear the television, as well as conversations and other ambient noise interspersed with music. When I turned on the Adaptive Noise Cancelation, it seemed like the TV instantly went on mute. I legit thought someone was messing with me because all I heard was music, nothing else. The one thing I do not like about these headphones was the lack of a headphone jack. I wear headphones when I play my guitar, and I use a device that plugs into my electric guitar’s speaker jack and allows me to listen to my guitar through a set wired of headphones. My family and neighbors also enjoy that function. Unfortunately, I can’t use these headphones to play my guitar. If I had actually paid for these, I might have been tempted to return them and purchase another pair based on that alone. Luckily, I have my old pair of phones I can still use, but I’d rather use these new ones. These headphones are a little snug, but I like that. They aren’t uncomfortable at all, and the tight fit helps keep music in and unwanted noise out. Even with the lack of the headphone jack, I still like these ACCENTUM Wireless headphones. They offer impressive sound and a comfortable fit. Given the price point, a carrying case would have been nice. I used the Sennheiser Smart Control app, and I give it a rousing, meh… If you never use this app, you won’t be missing much. Overall, the pluses far outweigh the one negative, I highly recommend these headphone based on sound quality, comfort and noise cancellation. Sound quality is good for the price point. Bass is strong but not washed out. I prefer the sennheiser balance more so than Bose (again, at this price point). Feel: The material on the ear cups feels stronger than other headphones at the price point. I've had an issue with weak material ripping on glasses etc, and I'm happy with the material on this pair. So the largest downside of these headphones right out of the box is that there are only 2 modes (active noise cancelling and a "clear" mode) that BOTH engage the internal microphones. This is normally not an issue, but the "clear" mode is quite transparent and boosts environmental noise, and is impractical in noisy settings. The active noise cancelling mode likewise utilizes the internal microphones, and does a pretty good job, HOWEVER, in windy environments, BOTH modes get completely washed out by the wind passing over the microphones. This is definitely the issue as covering the microphones with fingers eliminates the windy interference. This makes BOTH modes nearly unusable when there is a strong wind. There may be a way to turn down the "active" noise cancelling via the app, but I haven't explored this and it seems like a complete design mistake and oversite to not include a third mode that does not engage the internal microphones. I have had other noise cancelling headphones that have this and am in complete confusion as to why there is not this third mode. Did they not test the device in the outdoors? Slightly disappointed for that one reason, otherwise these are quite nice headphones for the price.

Could not get them to pair with any device that I had.

I'll start with the bad part that's not really bad. I don't care too much for the feel of the headphones. They feel very light compared to other headphones. (that may be a good thing for some) Now that's out of way, these are great headphones! And they look great as well. Pairing was super easy. As soon as I removed them from the box I put them on and paired them with my phone. The first thing I like to check is the sound. They sound amazing! I tried a few different genres of music and they all sound wonderful with these headphones. But the real thing that set these apart is the Smart Control app. I love the customization that the app provides for the listener. Some phones won't let you have much control over the sounds besides some preset sounds. I'm glad manufacturers are now giving the consumer the ability to control the sound to their liking. The app allows you to listen the way you want. There's an equalizer in the app that you can customize to your liking. This is probably my favorite feature as many large headphone manufacturers won't even give you the choice. Also, the active noise cancellation is pretty good. This can also be controlled in the app. It allows you to switch from transparency mode (if you're in the company of others and need to hear the environment around you) to noise cancellation mode. I wouldn't recommend purchasing headphones without noise cancellation. It just makes the music sound so much better. Battery life is the best I've experienced even with the top name brand manufacturers. I've had them for two weeks and still have not charged them once! I've also had a few phone calls while listening to music and they work just as good for talking. Yes I 100 percent recommend these. Please consider them while comparing to the popular headphones on the market.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Sony Sennheiser ACCENTUM Wireless headphones are lightweight and have a sleek plastic build. In the box you get the headset itself, charging cable (USB-C – USB-A), 3.5 mm cable and a quick start guide. The headset weighs about 221g and the earcup pressure is just a bit too much for me. The headband can be adjusted and earcups rotate 180 degrees. The comfort is average at best but like I already mentioned the earcup pressure is just too much and gets uncomfortable. On the headset there are only a few buttons. On the right ear cup are the controls and the USB-C charging port. You have the volume buttons, playback/pause button, and a multifunction button. To pair the headphones, you hold the multifunction button until you hear an audible voice and noise. You can also switch between transparency and ANC by double pressing the multifunction button. The battery life is good and comes in at 50 hours on a single full charge. The microphone is average and more suited for quieter environments. I found it did not perform well in noisy environments and gave a ton of background noise. The audio quality of these headphones is pretty good. The out of the box sound for me needs tweaked with the app. After a little tweaking these headphones sound great! PRO’s: - Good sound quality - 50-hour battery life - Customized audio - Hybrid ANC CON’s: - Earcup pressure - Microphone needs some work SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for an item like this.

Hello friends, This is my review of the Sennheiser Accentum wireless noise cancelling over the ear headphones. Wow that's a mouthful so from now on i will just say Accentum. First off the packaging is done well, the Accentums arrived undamaged to my doorstep. However there is no carrying case to store them in, or a bag. I think you just keep them on your head. From unboxing to the set up precedure, the Accentums arew easy to get up and running. All i needed to do was open my phone and bluetooth right to them in seconds. After that it was off to the races for me. I opened spotify and began to rock out. Now on to the sound, The Accentums sound fantastic. Why, well because they are made by sennheiser of course. The Accentums have that wonderful balanced sound profile that sennheiser is so well know for. If you haven't heard anything from them before then continue to read on. The sound from the Accentums is rich and full. The bass hits with authority but not to much as to overpower the rest of the performance. The mids are smooth and clear. While the top end reaches up and out to produce a wide soundstage. The three together produce a wonderfully balanced soundfield that appeals to many headphone listeners. If you are in the market for a wireless headphone that sounds great, look no further. I have tried others in this price range and to me none sounds better than the Accentums! I will definiteley recommend to a friend or relative!

Bass and sound quality all very good. Only complaint is if its connected to multiple things at once it doesnt always work.

These sound amazing, they’re lightweight & comfortable & paired easily with iPad but pairing with iPhone 15 pro was not so easy. You have to push a button on the side of the headphones to connect, this took me awhile to figure out, it wouldn’t pair through Bluetooth on the phone. If you have an older Apple product such as an iPod, where all my music is still stored, you can’t use any app features because it’s not supported, it requires IOS17 or later, so they’re basically just headphones & you scant use any app features. Everything seems to rely heavily on the app. I used it with garage band on my iPad & it works but there’s a delay in sound, which could be common because they’re wireless. The noise cancelling is good & can be set to ANC which cancels it out completely or transparent where you can still hear what’s going on around you. The volume is also limited and only goes so loud, so you won’t make yourself deaf on these. They sound great but the whole app use & connection issues hold me back from giving any better rating.
