Sennheiser soundbars have decent subwoofer so this is optional but for enhanced experience, definitely get this

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered two of these and was utilizing them in a fairly large space, around 3300 cu ft, with my AMBEO Plus Soundbar, which has had no issues, for nearly two weeks. During setup, one of the two speakers had a slight popping sound so I reduced the DB in the Sennheiser app. Seemed fine until we watched Interstellar where both were crackling and making pop sounds even at low volume. I am returning these shortly for this reason as it is a bad indicator for this system, designed for up to four of these, to have both new and setup at same time to fail like this. Replacing with SVS shortly.

Stay away for Sennheiser

Works well coupled with either of the Ambeo soundbars, although I wish it was capable of connecting wirelessly to the Ambeo Soundbar MAX and not just the Ambeo Soundbar Plus

It start cracking and popping. It this price point that should not happen. Returned expeditiously and ordered the svs sb1000 pro instead to go with my sennheiser max soumdbar.

Unfortunately the bass from it is underwhelming. I watched the John Wick movies and some of my other favorite room shakers…but there was barely any shake. It was as if I didn’t add the sub. App shows all green and the indicator on the sub is green. Setup with the app was simple.
