True Review with “ inconveniences “ and solutions

( Before I start I want to make sure you know what I’m comparing these to, comparing them to the Apple AirPods for around the same range since I used to daily those for years ) I got these a few days ago, honestly amazing crystal clear earbuds, I think at first I was disappointed with the bass coming from Sonys line of EXTRA BASS Over ear headphones, but after a while I realize the capability and size are huge differences ( dumb of me I know lol ) but I honestly started to love these after a while, the Bass isn’t feel it in your head, instead this nice deep punchy and kicky bass, definitely sounds amazing, I would like to compare these to Apples AirPods which are similar in Price, At first glance the AirPods and these sound similar, but Sennheiser knocked it out of the park with so many things, the AirPods have practically no bass, there’s nothing to them, and the Sennheiser has such an amazing sound all around, I’m no audiophile but I wish I was. The downside to these is really only the comfort and fit, also connectivity which I’ll break down. The first 2 days I think for never using Sennheiser buds I was lost and the connectivity was awful, I mean only one side would connect and the other would flash weird colors repetitively, lots of stuff that confused me at first lol. But I don’t remember when it happened but I mean they work flawlessly now, and if they don’t connect it’s a matter of putting them in the case and taking them back out and boom, all fixed lol. Now the comfort depends a lot on your ears and I happen to have a slight smaller ear than the other it feels like, so this was a huge problem with the AirPods. It all depends on the person but these are actually relatively comfortable, nice snug fit but the first few days they did feel weird and uncomfortable but you eventually find out how you like them. Battery life I wanted to bring up because it baffles me, I’ll use the buds all day at work, hours at home and then switch ear somewhere in between and these buds will last me 2 whole days ( w/ case ) and it’s actually Insane, they’re so light too it feels like air. I’ve never ever had them die on me and for that reliability which I think is hugely important for buds, Sennheiser earns my respect. If these are this good I’m sure you could spend a few more bucks on their higher end buds or the ones in this lineup. Nice sleek and smooth design and I HEAVILY recommend a case, even the silicone ones to protect from chipping and scratched, case doesn’t feel as premium as AirPods but I think the sleek design and the lid closing feedback makes up for it, the lid closing sound and feel is way better than AirPods which are satisfying to open and close.

Sennheiser knocked it out of the park with the CX True Wireless. Amazing sound, good bass, equalizer works really well, customizable and accurate touch controls, competent companion app, secure fit provides good noise isolation, fast pairing. For a $130 this should be a no brainer, specially for Android users.

Move over Apple AirPods, there's a new player in town, and it's stealing the spotlight! The Sennheiser CX True Wireless Earbud Headphones are an absolute game-changer, offering an unparalleled audio experience that not only rivals but surpasses their pricier counterparts. Let's talk sound quality. The CX True Wireless delivers a sonic feast that's nothing short of impressive. The clarity, richness, and balance of the audio are simply outstanding. Whether you're diving into your favorite playlist or enjoying a podcast, every note and word come through with precision, making for an immersive auditory experience that leaves AirPods in the dust. But it doesn't stop there - the bass on these earbuds is a force to be reckoned with. Deep, punchy, and perfectly tuned, the low-end frequencies elevate the listening experience to new heights. It's the kind of bass that not only makes your music more enjoyable but also adds a dynamic layer to any genre. Now, let's talk about the price. The Sennheiser CX True Wireless comes in at half the cost of Apple's AirPods, proving that exceptional quality doesn't have to come with an exorbitant price tag. The value for money here is unparalleled, making these earbuds an absolute steal for audiophiles and budget-conscious consumers alike. While the Sennheiser CX True Wireless doesn't feature noise cancellation, it's a small sacrifice considering the stellar audio performance you get for the price. The passive noise isolation provided by the snug fit of the earbuds is commendable and goes a long way in minimizing external disturbances. The design is sleek and unobtrusive, with a comfortable fit that stays secure even during active pursuits. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, adding a layer of convenience to the overall user experience. In conclusion, the Sennheiser CX True Wireless Earbud Headphones are a revelation in the world of audio accessories. They outshine the Apple AirPods in sound quality, bass performance, and affordability. If you're in the market for top-notch wireless earbuds that won't break the bank, look no further. The Sennheiser CX True Wireless is a true winner in every sense, proving that you don't need to pay a premium for exceptional audio.

As mentioned, if you want fantastic balanced sound, for the price, I cannot image you can beat these. The tiny sound improvements, and longer battery life alone, are worth the upgrade from the 400BT, prior to these. The highs are cleaner, and higher. The bass is More Full, giving you a bigger presence, filling in the areas where the presecision of the driver before, sounded very precise but lacked ummf, These remedy that. The sound stage is not super wide, but the separation is fantastic so the intamacy, or narrowness of sound stage, does not feel claustrophobic. The lack of ANC here is, fine. I sit about seven feet from a air conditioner, that sounds like a small Cessna airplane, seven hours a day. I can barely hear it. I do not work out, and wear these mainly at home, or light outside activities like, walking the dog, washing the car. The fit on these, is the same as the first pair. At first they feel snug, and secure, after about thirty minutes, you recognize they are there, and one hour in, they are uncomfortable. They seal great, and go into my ear canal, perfectly. It is the circumference of them that give me a problem. That snug feeling gives was to pressure, even after wearing them for over twelve hours. You can break in a lot of over the ear headsets, apparently Breaking In your ears, is not the same. If you can fit these, they are a steal, i listen to everything from TOOL to electronic bands like, Ivy Lab, and I have been super happy all around.

Great Buds With Some Frustrating Bluetooth Issues

I’ve used these buds for almost a year now and I would say that they are good, but have some fairly noticeable issues, mainly regarding connectivity. When I first got these buds, i had issues where they struggled to connect to my phone, to the point where i had to factory reset them and customize the settings all over again. Very annoying too since both times i was walking between classes and couldn’t listen to music for the rest of the day until i fixed them. More recently, I’ve had a few instances where my headphones would randomly disconnect from my phone then immediately pair again as if i had turned my Bluetooth off. Other times I’ve had it to where i can audibly hear static, as if the buds are struggling to maintain a connection. This mainly happened when listening to YouTube. I’ve also had it to where my buds just drop connection, leaving audio coming out of my iPhone and having to put the buds back in the case to start the pairing and connection process again. In some rare instances, only twice, I’ve had the left earbud just absolutely refuse to pair at all, only having the right earbud produce any sound. The first time it resolved in about an hour or so of not using them, but the second time was horrible. Even leaving them in the case overnight didn’t fix them immediately. It took a second night of leaving them alone for the buds to properly work again. I could’ve likely reset my buds and they would’ve worked again, however I didn’t want to go through the hassle of customizing the controls a third time. It’s likely that there maybe could’ve been some quality control issues regarding my specific pair of earbuds, being that almost all my issues with this product related to Bluetooth, and I couldn’t find much info on all of the issues that I had regarding these buds. I would have returned these earbuds, but sadly, apart from the connection issues I experienced at first where a reset was required, all the other issues occurred whenever they were outside of warranty. At the time I thought that it was just a fluke on my end or just some minor inconveniences that wouldn’t crop up again. Everything else about these buds I would say are solid, great even, from sound quality and comfort to battery life. When they do work, they are fantastic buds, especially since i got them on sale and did function as intended about 80% of the time I’ve used them since owning them. However, as soon as you start experiencing any issues regarding Bluetooth, I would likely just return them and get a different pair of buds because it’s likely that you will experience long term issues with these buds.

These are a great value for the price. I find them to be very comfortable and the app is easy to use but could be a little more customizable like Sony's app. The sound is also of good quality and they are plenty loud for me. The touches are precise and responsive and the battery life is also fantastic. Overall I'm wuite happy with these Sennheiser buds! As a side note: Although these don't have ANC, using the tips that provide a good seal will keep a lot of noise out.

These buds sounds amazing! Best bass, high and lows I have heard, especially for a set that does on sale for under $100. I have 4 set of these. They have no fancy frills just good sound a comfortable fit. I've worn them outside cutting the lawn in 90degree hear, soaking them with sweat and they work fine. Cannot go wrong with these!!

Excellent earbuds coming from a set of Galaxy Buds. These have multiple standout upgrades over the previous CX 400BT, including independent earbud connection (no master/slave), some water resistance, and a little bit more battery life. Sound is rich and typical Sennheiser quality, with clear instrument separation. While the soundstage is average and in line with my previous Galaxy Buds, The sound quality of the CXs is FAR better. No contest whatsoever. The accompanying Smart Control app also allows for some EQ fine-tuning. In my case, I found that the bass can get a tiny bit muddy with some songs, but a bit of EQ work cleaned it right up without issue. Fully customizable touch controls also one-up my old Galaxy Buds, where most controls except long-presses were fixed. Build quality on both the earbuds and case are fantastic as well, with the sturdy matte plastic and strong magnets. Neither the buds nor the case have any noticeable flex and should look nice for a long time. Like one other reviewer said, these buds do not have ANC. However, with the right ear tips, they seal very well and greatly reduce the amount of ambient noise entering. These buds do not have auto play/pause when removing them. Some users may not like this, but I haven't been annoyed of this in my usage (mostly music, very limited podcasts). Overall, I'm very happy with my upgrade and look forward to using these for a long while.

These are buds fit nicely in the ear. I was not sure what to expect with them. They were not overpowering loud. The noise canceling worked great I could not hear others talking when listening to music. I would definitely buy more of these. The sound was crisp and clear!

I like the sound, very nice as is typical of Sennheiser. Occasionally one side does not pair and I have to pair again but that's not too often. The touch controls work well but are annoying sometimes when you just want to handle the earbud without accidentally pausing or skipping, etc. but that's just the design. Good sound for the price, charge lasts a long time, I'm happy.
