Very good, but not perfect

As far as the pros, the headphones are durable, very easy to set up, and have great sound quality. However, the Bluetooth connection will breath up and stutter from time to time (ex: when I lock my phone), the bass does, at times, leave something to be desired and the fit (though excellent for my small ears) could essentially make them on-ear headphones for some.
All in all, they're a great first pair of wireless headphones, but they're not perfect.

Initially I was looking to replace my beats headphones, the service rep recommended the Sennheiser brand. I went and tried them out and looked at their reviews. They had favorable reviews and had all the features I was looking for. So far they have worked very well with Bluetooth and keeps the charge much longer than beats brand and has a very strong sound quality. I would highly recommend. Only drawback is too many buttons along the frame of the headphones.

I bought mainly to use at the gym.
Good: sounds good, not great. Good Sennheiser app to control headphones. Multi-point feature, lets your can be connected to 2 device at once, is awesome. I really like this feature because I have 2 phones. Noise cancelling is good at this price point. Skip songs toggle is much better than double pressing or triple pressing on other headphones.
Bad: To turn the noise cancelling off, you have to press the volume up and down at the same time. Its a pain. You almost always have to take the headphones off. I think I have an average size head and the headphones was very tight out of the box for me. I actually put them on a small ball, when not in use, for a week hoping to break them in. Btw this was suggested in the manual. Still tight after a week. The top of the head band has such little cushion that it constantly rubbed on top of my head and I could feel the metal.
It was a good headphone with good features at a good price ($139 on sale). But, it was just so uncomfortable on me. I do think this might be relative and may be ok for someone else. The nc on/off was just crazy stupid. I returned these headphones.

Price (5/5): I bought this HD 4.5 black/red during Black Friday sale and at the price I bought it for, it is definitely worth the price I paid.
Sound quality (4/5): The HD 4.5 provides excellent sound with emphasis on the treble. I am in no way an audiophile but sometimes I can feel a little more bass would have made this a much better and more balanced headphone.
Item quality (5/5): The black/red is a beauty. The feel is pretty solid and high quality. I've used it for one month and have not run into any problems with consistency. The size of the earphone is perfect for my ears (2.75 inches) and is very comfortable. I can use the headphone for hours at a time with no feeling of discomfort.
Software (3/5): The bluetooth pairing process is pretty straightforward to my laptop. Unfortunately, there is no app to make personalized controls according to personal preference. There is also no way to determine the exact % battery life on the device. The headphone does remind you to charge if it feels the battery life is low. Customization is definitely an area for improvement.
Final verdict (4/5): Overall the item is excellent for what it does. If bass and customization are not important for your ears, the HD 4.5 provides high comfort audio support for any devices that is bluetooth-compatible.

I was looking for an upgrade to my Skullcandy Hesh 2 wireless headphones. I was getting ready to go on a long flight and needed something more comfortable with noise cancelling. So far, have not been disappointed. The reputation of Sennheiser has been lived up to. They are definitely do not have a really bass heavy sound. If you're wanting that, you'll need to look elsewhere. The sound they do have, though, matches perfect for the music I listen to (mainly rock).
For movies, they are fantastic. Reproduction sounds spot on.
This is my first experience with noise cancellation. For the most part, they work as advertised. My one complaint is during phone calls it sounds like outside noises are pumped into the headphones rather than being blocked. In fact, if I turn off noise cancelling during phone calls, the outside noises go away.
I'm still trying to learn how the buttons work. This is typical of most Bluetooth headphones, though.

These are a great value at their recently discounted price. The sound is balanced and very good (rivaling witless Bose). Battery life is quite good. They are comfortable. Controls work well. I’ve had no connectivity problem.
The only things distinguishing them from more expensive models are build quality ( more plastic) and a slightly weaker noise canceling ability.

Like the sound I get from these! They felt tight at first but after breaking them in, they are pretty comfortable. The ear cups do fit over my ears BUT my ears are on the small side, so anyone with larger ears may find that these rest on their ears instead.

For decades, I've been seeking out high quality headphones who's price-tag does not reach into the three-digit range. To date, the Sennheiser HD 4.50 set is the most expensive headphones I've ever bought ($90.99 on clearance), but between it's performance over the past month and it's built-in features, it's proven to be worth the expense.
Excellent sound reproduction? Check!
Noise cancellation? Check!
A good microphone for online chat? Check!
Long battery life? Check!
Wireless and wired function? Check!
It's that last part I really like. If I feel like it, I can walk around my room and listen wirelessly. If I'm watching video in front of my laptop or somewhere I can't use Bluetooth (airplanes, for example) I can plug in directly. Even when I'm plugged in, I can choose to engage the noise cancellation, which uses very little power, or if the battery is low, I can still use them as normal headphones.
Another nice touch…the male end that plugs into the headset can be locked into place with a little twist, so accidentally unseating it would be difficult at best.
Overall, these have proven themselves to be a great bang for my buck!

I tried them in store for fit so i knew that the ear cup was a touch smaller than i would have preferred since i am used to gaming headphones but with that being said the sound quality is amazing and even after a couple of hours of use they are still comfortable.

I spent 2 months reviewing headphones and for my tastes it was down to this and the Sony 950. Listened to both in the store and thought the Senneissers gave clearer sound... wasn't heavy with bass and saw that I could adjust the bass with the app.
Bought it and was disappointed. The volume was low. Even at max vol on the device and music source. Downloaded the app and played with those settings.... not much difference. Plugging the headphones in did give a slight boost but it's not enough for me to want to keep them. I have returned them.
The noise cancellation is great though!
These are great headphones but I want something with a little more full powerful sound. I know there are others but this was my price range.

Overall I'm glad I bought these headphones, but there were some hitches. First, the charging cord that came with it didn't work; fortunately its a standard size, so after realizing there was no charging after a few hours, I switched cables and that did it. The light is not very intuitive for whether its fully charged or being charged, and I still don't think that's as good as it should be. Eventually I did get it up and running, connected easily with my iPhone and the sound is very good. The noise-cancelling works well. On an international flight, I plugged it into the media screen and it worked well. Comfortable even after a few hours.

I use these for conference calls/casual listening while working from home. I have big ears that don't quite fit into the ear cups so I tend to experience some fatigue when wearing them all day. The cups do turn to fit the angle/orientation of your ear so that's helpful. Most over-the-ear headphones give me this issue and I'm pretty happy with these.
The noise cancelling is pretty solid and I really have solid conversations using teams/zoom. If you're looking for super high fidelity to listen to your favorite DJ and detect the low-level details in the beat then you might spend more for a pair designed for that use case.
Lastly, the battery life is pretty good - something like 16 hours if used straight and it can get a full charge after 2 hours.

All right, for $80 on sale, I wasn't expecting much. I use Sennheiser microphones for recording and LOVE the quality, but I just couldn't imagine $80 noise-canceling headphones being worth much...
Wow! When I turn them on, they connect to whatever Bluetooth device is currently active - I have video editors and audio players that I connect to, depending on the project I'm working on. The noise-canceling is upper-middle-of-the-road. I've heard better for $300.00, but you can't beat what they do for the price you pay!
Overall, I would buy these again without question!

These headphones sound really good. The noise canceling isn’t the best on the market but it does the job to tune out most of background noise. It’s not over your ear completely but i have smaller ears and they work for me. The only complaint I have with these is that the band over the top of your head doesn’t really have cushion to it and after awhile it can get uncomfortable. But they’re easy to pair and the charge lasts a good amount of time. When not using, they fold easily up and come with a bag to store them in. If you’re not ready to drop $300 on Bose headphones, these are a good compromise

Wear them daily as my upstairs neighbors chop wood at all hours of the day and night and these headphones block 98% of that noise out.
I did have to find a sweet spot since I was used to full over the ear headphones but once I did that they are very comfortable.

Guess my ears aren't that big as I found this headphone to be quite comfortable. Sennheiser always produces premium sound and this is no different. The wireless/bluetooth works great. Just remember to bring along the Sennheiser audio cable otherwise you will be stuck without any music if the battery dies.
