Love these headphones. Needed a replacement for an older gaming headset that was dying, and wanted to go the nicer route. Found these headphones on a good sale for around &75-80 cannot remember the exact, but for that price, the battery life, sound quality, and easy of use is incredibly nice for what I have experienced. I am thinking if I see them on sale again I will be buying another pair for another pair.

I should get this out of the way first. This isn't an over ear headphone. It's closer to an on ear headphone. I have several over ear headphones including another Sennheiser headphone (HD 599, Sony XM3, Steelseries Pro Wireless, Astro A10) and these have MUCH smaller earcups. The Sennheiser 599's are like 3-4x as big and even the cheapest Astro A10 (bought for $20 on sale) is significantly larger (1.75x?). As such, anyone looking for an over ear headphone should look elsewhere.
That out of the way, the sound is pretty solid. At least on Android. If you know what a Sennheiser sounds like, these come pretty close for a wireless. I'd say it's a solid option for Android users looking for an on ear headphone.
The story is different on Windows though. For some reason, there was a quiet, but incessantly notable buzzing sound in the left ear cup while in use. The microphone also seemed to be always on with no easy way to turn it off, basically negating the entire point of a noise cancelling headphone when it's funneling all the sound directly in. I tried a lot to get it to work, but couldn't find a solution and ended up just returning the darned thing. I probably would've done so anyways since I hate on ear headphones, but I did like the aesthetics of the headphone and am a fan of Sennheiser in general so was looking for reasons to keep it.
The noise cancelling when it does work (on Android) is only okay. The Sony XM3's stomp these into the ground in that regard, but that's to be expected from headphones that cost way more. But I've also owned Cowin E7's in the past, cheap noise cancelling headphones that performed better, which was surprising. These definitely have a better sound than the Cowin's, but the noise cancelling was honestly pretty ineffective.
The build of it is okay. I bought mine on sale for $100, and for that price it's more than acceptable. Sennheiser generally doesn't ever disappoint here. Aside from their extremely questionable choice to market an on ear headphone as over ear, I have no problems with the build.
2/5. I wouldn't recommend these unless you're just looking for wireless on ear headphones and really like the design. Sound is fine enough, but the earcups are all wrong and I experienced lots of problems on Windows. Sennheiser needs to go back to the drawing board and take all their other over ear earcups and glue them onto these, since they clearly know what over ear earcups are supposed to be like but failed to deliver with these headphones.

I really like the sound quality with these headphones. I have understood lyrics that I never did before and they have pretty good bass as well. I haven't even played with the equalizer yet. The battery life seems good, though I haven't truly tested the duration. I am really impressed with the distance of the bluetooth connection, they hold connection with my laptop throughout my 2-story house. Noise cancel works well, but haven't tried them on a plane yet.
The only downside is that my ears just fit inside them so after 3 or 4 hours they can be a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. Overall I am very impressed.

Good sound quality, reasonably comfortable, and surprisingly stylish in person. Not a big fan of the buttons, but it's also not a dealbreaker. In all, these headphones are an excellent value for the money.

I have purchased many pair of Sennheiser headphones IE in ear, on ear,and over ear and consider them superior to any other top name brands I have tried. The HD 458BT were great but were a little hot (as most over ear are) and I felt a previous pair of on ear sounded just as good and were more comfortable. I am elderly and have a difficult time hearing and/or deciphering most movies so most of the time have closed captioning on as well as sound. While wearing the less expensive on ear phones the closed captioning displayed that a background band was playing which I did not hear. So I changed to the HD 458BT replayed that sectioon of movie and there it was I could hear it

I've been a big fan of Sennheiser's headphones for a few years. I purchased these instead of the Sony equivalent, because these were half the price. The sound quality is very good for bluetooth headphones. The ear cups could be a bit bigger, but are otherwise comfortable and the construction is good, they don't have a cheap plastic feel to them.
The reason I returned them is the active noise cancelling. When turned on, it felt like a white noise generator had been placed inside my skull. This can be a very personal reaction to ANC, so I would recommend trying these out before purchasing if possible.

Needed headphones primarily for airline travel to reduce the engine noise and to block out neighbors barking dog when working from home. I check all the reviews and agreed with most. Some of the negatives: 1. Not a heavy base sound. But not needed for my listening preferences. 2. Ear cup foam not very breathable. Not an issue on the flights I've taken. 3. Ear cups don't swivel all the way so difficult to wear around your neck. But, extending the adjustment from the headband makes it easier. 4. Cable connection requires an additional twist to lock it in. Just something to get use to and it is nice that the cord won't fall out if pulled slightly. Benefits include: 1. Cost. I could have gotten nicer headphones and spent three times as much. 2. Very compact-able, folds up neatly with a soft case. 3. All the controls are on the right side, which I prefer. 4. Pretty light weight compared to others.

These work amazingly well for my 13 yr with autism and sensory processing. The noise canceling helps her study better and test taking at school is so much easier. They are comfortable and easy to wear. Of course being from Sennheiser they are high quality and great sounding. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality feel and weight. Noise-canceling features are good for the price point. The only reason not a five star is because the pads become uncomfortable after extended use if you wear glasses
