The page says that the product is over-the-ear, but the one I received was on-ear. On-ear hurts my ears, however, due to the pressure on my ears against the wired sides of my glasses. I tried them anyway, since I've heard great things about Sennheiser, but unfortunately it caused pain within the first half hour. I was going to give them to my friend, but she also found them painful and the lack of cushion on the top to be an extra con. In addition, the controls were difficult to figure out, even with the instruction manual. This product was returned shortly after received, and I invested in another headset.

The headphones are a great addition to my workouts to hear music but with certain types of music the volume gets too low. So, if you want to listen to music at a very high volume these aren’t the best for that.

Purchased this on a deal price. I own other Sennheiser headphones that I really like, so I am familiar with the brand and quality which is why I bought this. I was slightly disappointed in the sound quality and comfort. It is still a good pair of headphones though. I would not recommend anyone buying it for the retail price of $200. For $100 or less this isn't a bad choice. If you want to play with the EQ settings you do have to download the Sennheiser Smart Control app which is available for Iphone and Android. I don't know how to change the EQ settings on a computer though or if it can be done on a computer with this headphone. It can be used wireless or wired. Sounds bad on wired, since it doesn't let you change the sound settings (as far as I know) versus bluetooth wireless using the Sennheiser Smart Control app which lets you adjust the settings so you can make it sound good. I was thinking about giving it away but I just keep it as a spare headphone for now.

Very pleased with overall sound quality. No issues connecting. Would prefer slightly larger ear pads. App works well for adjusting settings. Would definitely recommend. This is my second Sennheiser brand purchase.

Sound quality is good. It blocks 60-70% of sounds on the plane. It is very easy to turn on and off the ANC. The earpads cushions should be larger for comfort.

tight on the ears, good range of sound

The sound is very clear, but it's not full range clear at all. The weight is very nice, but the "noise cancellation" is really the incredible crushing, clamping of these things, it's a bit much if it's warm out, and can make your ears feel a bit irritated after 30 minutes or more. Over time either I adjusted to it or the headphones slowly relaxed a little through use. The bluetooth works well in modern android systems. It does not, however, have aptx in windows 10 or 11. You can download an intel aptx bluetooth driver you can manually uninstall your driver, then add that one and it works if you're using intel chips on your desktop or laptop motherboard and aptx shows up after also running each .inf file you get from the installed package (in the installed folder). I like them, I just don't know if they're worth $99, and certainly not $199. The battery life is good, as is the charge time.

I've only had them for a couple of years but they've worked really well. I haven't had any issues and I'll be purchacing this brand again. I do think that the headphone cord is weird since it locks into the headphones and you cant use another cord if you misplace it. There should be an extra cord that comes along since it's so specific. Still really nice

Battery is good. Sound quality is fine for the price point. ANC is also decent. Connectivity is a disaster. Never connects automatically and after less than a week of owning them they do not connect to either of the devices to which they had been paired and successfully used. Huge disappointment from Sennheiser here. At this point (again, a week into owning them) they are only usable as a wired headphone. Website is totally useless.

Sennheiser has always been a favorite of mine and these headphones are really good quality, noise canceling surprised me tbe first time i used them, which is a very good thing. The buttons on the side kinda confused me at first but once you know what they do, it's very easy to use

Sound quality for music is amazing, really good. However I need them for work and making phone calls and the audio quality for that is not great. People told me I sounded underwater. I returned them but if you only use them for music then they’re great.

Great sound and range, but it took 2 returns to get a working unit. 1st one wouldn't pair with any of my BT laptops or smartphones. 2nd works on only 1 channel via BT and extremely touchy on the wired connection, move it a little and one or the other channel cuts out. I have owned over 10 pairs of Sennheiser phones over 50 years and this is the 1st time any of them was not perfect out of the box. Very disappointed.

Decent sound when eq settings are JUST right, but the fit is too uncomfortable even for short periods. Returned for the Sony XB-900N, which are significantly more comfortable and have a more balanced sound with smoother bass.

My son likes these headphones. Good sound quality. However, the ear pads fall off easily, are hard to get back on and now he's lost one. So be careful with teenagers who don't pay attention!

Sound quality and direction with Dolby Atmos with the Xbox is fantastic. And in wireless mode it's easy to switch between the phone and laptop - the headphones stay connected to both devices simultaneously, and automatically switch to whichever device starts playing something.

I bought these mainly because the 50% off deal but, I also have stood by Sennheiser’s products for a while. Set up was simple, took only 30sec to connect to my phone. As for the sound, its good not great. I do wish the volume could be louder since about 75% volume is still comfortable for the ears. I did however download the Sennheiser app which allows you to mess with the equalizer to find your preferred sound. All together happy with the purchase. Would recommend.
