Great for games, movies, and music.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Favorite headphones I've ever owned. Open back design is great if you're wanting to be able to hear things going on in your house. Bass response is nice without being over-pronounced. Great for games, movies, and music. Wish there was an identical model with a mic attached though. Only downside is the velvet/velour pads are lint magnets.

Very impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So Ive always used "gaming" headphones throughout the years. And these headphones absolutely blow them all away, I'm coming from astro a50s. These have much better clarity and sound quality while being cheaper as well. I'm thoroughly impressed. the bass is a little lacking, but the treble on these are amazing music sounds much better now. They're comfortable and don't hurt after long periods of wearing and I have quite the big head, they don't weigh much at all either. I will stick with Sennheiser from now on.

Another Execellent Sennheiser Product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a big Sennheiser fan and this is my 9th pair of Sennheiser. Excellent audio quality. Really flat and clear sound. As with most Sennheiser headphones this produces a tight but somewhat light bass sound, so if you like pounding bass please look elsewhere. Now, the one thing that sets the HD560s apart from all the other Sennheisers I own is in its treble response. The HD560s is a lot brighter than the HD6XX, HD58X, HD518 and the HD598. If you never liked Sennheiser because of the so called Sennheiser veil this might be that pair that will change your mind. Just like the HD518 and the HD598, this HD560s is quite comfortable to be worn for long sessions. Unlike the HD58X and the HD6XX the clamping force is only about half as strong so the HD560s might fall off if you like to listen to music in a reclined position. IMO the HD560s is on par with the HD6XX and I would really recommend anyone who is interested in Sennheiser products to try this one out.

If you are a gamer...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.and you are not in need of a headset mic then this is the product for you. In fact this is such a good all around headphone that it can be used for anything; music, movies, games etc. Sennheiser makes some of the best audio products. Prior to this I was using the PC38X. I still love that gaming headset and I use it for conference calls because of the mic. The HD560S however has better sound stage and imaging. I love the audio from Rage 2. When playing that game I can hear the water dripping in the sewers. These EQ well. I found the bass a little lacking. By just adjusting some EQ it took me a couple of seconds to get the perfect sound. Mids and highs are excellent out of the box. Lastly, the notorious Sennheiser clamping force. Sennheiser's always tend to be a little tight around the head. These are the tightest pair of headphones I own. I definitely like a little clamp, but these are a little more than I would desire. I've returned headphones in the past for being too loose so clamping is important. The force on these are not a deal breaker, but if you tend to have a large head than be aware. These are super light weight and made out of plastic so I'm not sure if stretching them out can crack them. Overall I love these headphones. For what you are getting at this price point I have nothing but positive things to say about these. I highly recommend.

Beautiful Sound, Affordable Price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones as I've gotten back into enjoying my CD collection on my old computer and iPod, and I needed a quality pair with a cable. Also, having a headphone amplifier, the 1/4 inch adapter on these headphones made them a perfect choice. The listening experience they offer is very good. As my first pair of open-back headphones, I initially wasn't too thrilled with the sound, especially when comparing them to my ATH-M50's. The HD 560S are quieter and have less bass punch. However, after spending more time with them, I came to prefer the HD 560S as they are leaps and bounds more accurate than the ATH-M50's. They're also much more comfortable to wear and listen to. The open-back design creates a sense of music being around you rather than directed at you, which is vastly preferable for longer listening sessions. It's important to note that some might prefer headphones that are more like the ATH-M50's for their louder volume and stronger bass, especially when not using a headphone amplifier. If you're used to that sound and need a closed-back design, these might not be for you. However, if you're after a high-performance pair of headphones that offer incredibly accurate sound and reveal details in your music that you haven't heard before, these headphones are a buy for me without hesitation. Overall, I highly recommend the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones for a truly delightful listening experience.

Light weight headphone with clear, spacious sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched multiple reviews on the HD 560s before purchasing and it was compared a lot against the HD 6xx because they are priced almost the same. They are similar in many respects but the HD 560s sound a bit more analytical while the HD6xx sound a bit fuller. I think the HD 560s is an excellent choice if you want affordable clarity and good spatial presentation. They are very light, comfortable, and although made mostly of plastic - it's a tested design that holds up well. The cable is realllly long for how most people will probably use the headphones, but you can get a shorter replacement easily. The best thing about headphone options from Best Buy is how easy it is to return items.

great cans for 200 beans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.im no audiophile, but these sound crazy good, they have a nice, balanced sound with a wide sound because theyre fully open, they run out of basically anything because of their sensitivity regardless of how many ohms they have, but i would still invest in a proper dac to get the best sound out of them. theyre incredibly comfortable, no complaints wearing them for hours at a time. they come with a nice long, thick cable, a little long for what i use them for, but they come with a 6.3 to 3.5 adapter, and these are sure to last a long time because the cable is replacable and the build quality is good, and even though its all plastic, they dont feel cheap. i totally recommend, absolutely worth it.

The HD 560S: Like Wearing Air…Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s talk about the Sennheiser HD 560S—aka, the headphones that made me question if I actually put them on or just thought about it. I’m using these for podcasting and everyday listening at my computer. And honestly? They do everything I need them to do… which is wild, because I’m usually the guy who needs seven adapters and a firmware update just to hear a YouTube video. Here’s the breakdown: • Comfort: So lightweight, I’ve checked twice to see if my ears were still attached. • Sound Quality: Crisp highs, clear mids, and bass that doesn’t punch—just politely introduces itself and joins the conversation. • Use Case: From editing my voice to hearing Paul’s laugh in stereo—these things make podcasting smooth. And scrolling YouTube rabbit holes? Never sounded so professional. Final verdict: They’re like the Toyota Corolla of headphones—reliable, comfortable, and way better than you expect… but without the weird cloth seats. Would I buy them again? Only if these disappear mysteriously—which is highly likely, because now my wife wants them. 10/10: Would forget I’m wearing them again.

Just what I needed & sound great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pair an old pair of closed-back Sennheiser headphones for years (decades, even maybe) and they finally broke. they still sounded good but the headband finally let me down. Since I edit videos, I thought these would be a better choice. At first I thought the fit was a little tight, but that was because I was used to my old units, which had become quite loose due to the fracturing headband. These are much lighter than my old ones, too, so they should be comfortable over long sessions. They sound great, which is what matters. I couldn't justify spending many hundreds of dollars, but I also didn't want something so cheap that they would give me an incorrect "view" of what I was editing/mixing. These hit the sweet spot, I think. They are, of course, terrible for listening in areas with loud background noise, being open-backed. But if that's the situation you're in, these aren't for you. Period.

Sound great, satisfied.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very satisfied, great sounding, fit great around entire ear and does not become uncomfortable. Note, these headphones do not cut off outside sounds, they actually allow you to continue to naturally hear outside noise with only a very slight decrease. I like this feature.

Son enjoying these headphones for his gaming.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Son is loving the headset so far. They are comfortable on his head and he seem happy with the audio so far. They did seem a bit quite when I put them on my head but I have not spent a lot of time with them or adjusted his audio.

Very comfortable but flat, needs good sound source
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried so many headphones to find ones with great sound quality that don't cause headaches, pain from wearing glasses or overheated ears. I have a ridge on top of my skull, and cannot wear headphones unless they have an indent like these or a band. Additionally, I have fibromyalgia and a weak neck, and can't use headphones that weigh much more than 8oz. If headphones are too tight, then my glasses push into my temple. These open-back headphones fit the bill for all of these things. They are exceptionally comfortable. My husband was concerned that the sound from the headphones would bother him while trying to sleep. This has not been the case at all. Neither of us can even hear them unless wearing them. I initially tried these by plugging them into my stereo, and they sounded great. I was disappointed though with the sound from my computer, but then I learned that you really need a DAC/amp for these headphones, or at least the free FxSound software. I was happy with FxSound, but my audiophile friend convinced me to get a iFi Zen DAC v3. Using this with PowerMatch turned on was a game changer. Pairing the iFi DAC with the iFi Zen Can 3 and listening to the highest quality Tidal tracks was absolute music nirvana.

Great headphones for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because they’re open-back, audio feels spacious and precise. In competitive games, this translates to excellent directional accuracy you can clearly hear footsteps, distant gunfire, or subtle environmental cues. The imaging is sharp, which gives you a real advantage when trying to pinpoint where sounds are coming from. Unlike bass-heavy “gaming” headsets, the HD 560S keeps the sound balanced and accurate. Explosions feel impactful without overwhelming

Perfect headphones for musicians.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audiophiles have their needs in headphones, but musicians have specific needs, too. Headphones need to sound good, but they need to sound revealing. In 2020, many of us have found that we need to play at home a lot more and can't turn up as much as we used to be able to, which means practicing through headphones is more important than ever. For musicians, headphones need to be comfortable, faithful, and present, and they need to interface well with gear. The HD 560S does all those things. My Roland FP-90 digital piano has very picky headphone outputs that make even nice headphones sound really poor, and this is the only headphone out of about 7-8 pairs I've tried that actually sounds good plugged into it. It seems to have no trouble with any source, whether it be practice guitar amps, a built-in headphone output, or my Audient EVO 8. The sound is not flattering for the sake of it, but it will sound good if your source is good. There's enough treble to get ASMR tingles, but not too much to where electronic music would be painful. There's definitely enough detail here to mix with, and the stereo imaging is excellent. If you get your sound good in these headphones, it will sound good on most headphones or speakers. I've always felt that open headphones in the past were easier to listen to, but that closed headphones were punchier and more exciting and therefore better to play instruments through. These headphones are different; they are punchy enough to help you feel all the extreme dynamics of a digital piano or a virtual drum set and dish it out. Very impressed.
