I'm able to hear footsteps and other directional audio clearer than with my hyperx cloud 2 wireless. the fit is a little tight but loosens out after wearing them for a bit.

I moved from Audio Technica M40x and these have been the perfect stepping stone. I wasn't into a lot of other headphones I tried, but these were perfect for that similar sound signature in an open back design.

The sound was mediocre until I bought a separate digital to audio converter, which was fine. Within a month the left side started cutting out randomly. At first I thought it was the converter, but it was not. By two months the left side stopped working completely. No rough handling, no pulling, nothing abnormal, just regular use. Sound quality is average even with the converter. The build feels cheap and fragile. I cannot recommend these headphones. Shall be returning tomorrow for a different pair of headphones or getting my money back. Best Buy out here selling bunk products as normal.
