The sound isn't exceptional for my purposes, but it's perfectly acceptable. The build quality is very good and the headphones are fairly comfortable, though they fit a little bit weirdly the first time you put them on, with some plastic around the back of your ears.
Very affordable for Sennheiser, and after a month of use with no issues, I feel confident in saying that the quality is still as expected. Some headphones at the $100-$150 price point will break after about six months of hard usage - these are not one of those.
You get what you pay for in general, but if you're looking for a quality and long-lasting pair of headphones at this price point, the HD 569 is a very good pick
