Great headphones, just expected more
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these were good, just expected more. sound was great, vocals were clear sound stage was ok, bass was great. these seem to have ANC or passthrough enabled at all times. in the app there is a slider left to right. there is no button or option to turn one on or off just the slider. would have kept them if there was an off button and if sound stage was a bit wider. these are still good but for the price. makes it a hard pill to swallow.

Great sounding, great looking cans, if they last.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound fantastic, even better than the Momentum 3's they were replacing. Subjectively I liked the sound profile better than the Sony XM4 and 5's others in my household have. Noise cancellation seemed to be on par with the previous generation Momentums, but not quite at the Sony level. Ultimately I returned these, as, within a few weeks of purchase, they developed an intermittent crackling in the left ear cup - the same thing that started happening with my Momentum 3's (which lasted over 3 years) and lost patience. Sigh. Maybe others will have better luck.

Great, while it works
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love these, they sound great and they're really comfy. I usually pick Sennheiser for most of my audio but these still seem to have a significant issue with any moisture. I never even wore them to work out. Just watching TV in a warm apartment (I have a lot of background noise so ANC is a godsend). One day was a bit warmer than usual and I found myself sweating a little. Next thing I noticed was a loud pop in the earcups, like the sound of a stereo at max volume suddenly turning off. And they just power cycle now. Despite a fair bit of troubleshooting, the device never recovered before I returned it.

Excellent headphone with superior sound.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent headphone with superior sound quality. Highs, mids, and lows are clear and well balanced. Plus it's got 60 hours of battery life. The only downside about this headphone is that if you have a phone that does not support Qualcomm aptX HD, a majority of Samsung phones don't, you won't be able to fully utilize the potentials of this headphone. As the normal aptX codecs won't be able to transmit 24Hz audio files over Bluetooth. Even with this one downside, its audio quality still beats Sony's WH-1000XM5.

Everybody is different
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a pair of wired Beats Studio headphones. I wanted to find wireless headphones that could provide the same wonderful sound. I listened to many stellar reviews of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones and decided to purchase them. Unfortunately for me, they did not live up to that hope. After several days of trying different EQ settings, I decided to return them. I'm not saying the Sennheiser Momentum 4's are bad by any means. They are well made and have good features and qualities. They just didn't meet my ears expectations.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 thoughts
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Pair of headphones. Amazing noise cancelling as well as gives me the ability for good audio option while travelling. Havent ran into any issue with battery life and the case is a nice addition. These go on sale regularly and are worth the pickup

You prefer weaker sound? Get you a pair.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Black Friday “deals” sometimes leads us to making purchases on products we’d otherwise overlook. Being significantly less than the regular price, one may just throw caution to the wind and attempt an insignificant splurge. Well, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Headphones was one of (several) “deals” for me, this price slashing season. I’ll just start by saying, I feel for those that paid for these at full listed price. They really fall short in sound quality. Weak- is a perfect word to describe their performance capabilities. Even when adjusting the EQ in the “My Sound” section of the app, as well as adjusting the audio resolution (as well in the app). Just, poor overall audio. I recently, let’s say a few months back, got me a pair of JBL Tune 235NC TWS earbuds, for about $60 (at BB). At first, they too would have been written off (like these Sennheiser’s are in this review), for underwhelming sound. However, after adjusting the EQ to my liking (in JBL’s app), they boasted a significantly better sound than the default. I would go so far to say, having a richer sound than even my Apple AirPods Pro 2’s- which again, come with a much heftier price tag. The comparison of the two (JBL & Sennheiser) comes down to the fact that being able to adjust the product’s default sound, was a significant changer in its perceived quality, as far as it’s fundamental function of producing sound. It’s laughable that a product like the Momemtum 4 with a price near the $400 (at regular) mark, is compared to, and bested IMO by a product several hundred dollars less at base value. Once a product’s intended function has missed the mark, everything else about it isn’t even worth acknowledging. I mean, these headphones are comfortable, I guess. The controls are relatively simple. I would compare the Momemtum 4, honestly, to Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones. Same build material quality, same price range (at regular), same underwhelming/ disappointing audio quality.

Sennheiser Momentum 4
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones sound really great. Better to my ears than the Sony models. They charge up much faster and last much longer on a single battery charge than other models as well.

Good ANC, Great headset overall
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These surprised me. Although they might not be quite as feature filled as the Sony Xm5 they directly compete with, the sound signature is much more refined out of the box and they have a never-ending battery. I was also able to maintain a great connection with my Pixel 6 Pro so far (uses AptX HD on that) If you are buying these for ANC alone, look at the Sony as they outperform in that department, but I prefer these in every other regard.

Great sound and noise canceling
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound system and noise canceling are great. You are able to hear every beat of a song. With noise canceling by itself you can still hear faint voices/sounds, but with music or a podcast playing you can't hear other outside noises. Battery life is great. I got them about 3 weeks ago and have only had to charge them twice. I use them almost every day for ~ 6hrs. The only downside I have about these headphones is that every time I get a phone call when using the headphones, it doesn't connect automatically to the call. I have to press the Bluetooth option during the call and when I do, it ends my call.

Can't disable auto turn on and off
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the sound quality, battery life, and fit, but the auto on is really really annoying. I will turn them off and they'll turn right back on. Or they'll turn on while in my bag without me knowing, so I can't hear any notifications. I wish I could set it to just turn on and off manually. That would fix the issue.

Nice headphone with only one flaw.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound quality for listening to any kind of music, very comfortable (even wearing glasses). The only problem is with switching from one Bluetooth connection to an other if you paired it to two. My problem is PC and an android phone. If I start on PC and the phone rings, all is good. But when I ended the call and want it to switch back to the PC it crackles and I have to disconnect and reconnect on the PC to get a clean sound.
