    Tinny Sound

Constructed well and don’t feel like they’ll break easy. Download the app, without it you can’t change the touch controls or sound. The equalizer is limited to 3 adjustments - bass, mid, treble. Now matter how much I adjusted, I just couldn’t get rid of the tinny sound. Charge lasted all day and I never had to charge it during the day. Wish it could charge wirelessly. Had to return because they just hurt my ears. Seem to go in the ear canal too far. Needs an ear tip between the large and medium, one was too big for me and the other too small. Not worth the price too me, so returned. Overall disappointed. I have a pair of over ear with this brand that sound great, so was expecting better.

I have a collection of earbuds, which I suspect makes me like many of you. This includes multiple Jabra models, Jaybird Vista 2, Bose SoundSport, and assorted other brands. Nothing I own has the clarity of these Sennheisers. The first is comfortable, although it does lag a bit behind the Jabra Elite 7 Pro,which are the most comfortable for my ear shape and size, The build quality is what you would expect from Sennheiser and at this price point - excellent. Noise cancelling is not up to the Sony earbuds. In fact, while I can tell a difference with it on or off, if you simply asked me at a random time if ANC was on, I’d have to look at the app to be certain, The app is another so-so piece. It offers a very basic equalizer, like a rental car, low, mid, high, and that’s it. Sennheiser, if you’re reading this, take a look at the aforementioned Jaybirds. Complete control and whatever frequencies you select and a community that creates sound images that are easy to download. For some people, I suspect this would make all the difference. The final so-so part is the case. It’s relatively large and covered in fabric. This makes it harder to carry and clean. And that leads to the sound. Clarity and range are excellent, and you can hear every detail. But, this also means that you’re likely to hear things you never noticed, like sibilance (that metallic “sss” on vocals), and this may drive you nuts. They also have very bright highs, which can become physically tiring in a long sitting. While the bass is good, the silicone tips do not provide a solid enough seal to really capture the individual notes of a low bass or piano. This is fixed (and the comfort improved) with a set of Comply foam tips. If you’re looking for that v-shaped sound that pop music is so fond of engineering toward, you’ll be immensely disappointed with these. But, if you want clean, glorious sound, above all else, you’ll be very happy with these.

Let me start by saying these are awesome set of earbuds. They sound phenomenal and the noise canceling is pretty good. The noise canceling is not as good as my old Sony WF 1003, but they make up for it with superb audio quality. The mic for telephone calls is also significantly better at reducing background noise compared to my old Sony’s. The app works very well and I like the amount of customization. Touch controls are good and the earbuds are pretty comfortable I get a little bit of your fatigue after several hours but it is not an issue for shorter periods. The only thing that this seems to be really missing is the lack of low latency APTX coding for low latency. I have noticed some audio lag using my galaxy tab S6, however I do not notice this when using my iPhone so it might be device to device. The case is compact but sturdy and the magnetic ports make it easy to store the headphones overall a very nice pair of earbuds

These are great sounding Earbuds. I like the comfortability and the sound very much, but the software is not very intuitive and rather difficult to access during set-up. It may just be mostly me, but while reviewing Earbuds, the overall consensus was that these were the best sounding ones out there, but, the main concern from others, too, was the software. I bought them anyway due to sound quality being the main reason to get them and was my number 1 priority. That being said, I'm happy with the purchase and the great sound quality. Nice case, multiple charges from the case, and easy to carry around. I remember Sennheiser being THE "over the ear" headphones to get when I was much younger, but I truly believe Sony took over that market quite a number of years ago with many others believing that too. As far as the Earbuds go, I think Sennheiser has "Hit One Out Of The Park" with these buds!!!

I bought these for my wife for work use, and she loves them. I bought a pair for myself about a month prior, having only used some cheap skull candies for the occasional listen over the last couple of years. We both love the sound quality. She loves them because they fit her ears and are comfortable with long use, as her job requires her to use her phone a lot. The only complaint I would have for the price point is that they cannot be used independently, but have to be used together or the right one alone. However, these are still worth it, especially for the sound quality.

Upfront: I'm an audio geek. I was a pro sound engineer for over a decade, I'm still a musician, and I own far too many pairs of buds and headphones for my own good. I'm also a road warrior, or was pre-pandemic. Countless hours on planes mean I am a heavy, heavy user of these devices...and these Sennheisers are getting a permanent spot in my bag. First, the obvious downside...they aren't that great looking. They aren't really sleek, they certainly are noticeable, and the branding is right in your face. Touch controls aren't much fun either. Next, the average...battery life is good, not wonderful (I run them with the noise cancelling on at all times, 5-6 hours if I had to average it). The case is actually quite nice and the buds are easy to remove from and put back in the case, and USB-C for charging is a nice touch. I'm also listing the noise cancellation as average. They aren't Bose or Sony. But...that leads me at last to why I'm giving them five stars. The phenomenal: THE AUDIO QUALITY. These have the best quality I've heard to date from true wireless buds. They actually have bass! They aren't Beats...they don't inflate the low end...but if it's in the song, you'll hear it. It also isn't at the cost of high frequency resolution. They may be a little mid-scooped, but I actually find that pleasing on the over-mastered modern mixes. I primarily listen to rock and EDM on these, and it's great to actually hear artists like Deadmau5 on these. Will they match my home audiophile overears with a dedicated amp and DAC? Of course not. But they stop me from missing that rig when I'm on the road, and that says a lot.

Very fantastic with only one drawback and a couple gripes. I love how these sound and how they feel in the ear. It's such a snug and comfortable fit I didn't realize was possible with the way they're shaped. But sadly not being able to independently connect either bud is a deal breaker for me due to my use cases. If Sennheiser to re-release these with a master-master configuration and more ambient sound/noise cancellation options I would snatch them right up. Something else is that the noise cancellation isn't really noticable, it's largely passive noise cancellation whereas the Sony WF-1000XM3s almost rival their over-ear counterparts. I'd say the strengths of these earbuds is fit, battery life, and sound. But if you're looking for features like ANC, independent buds, or wind noise isolation I'd recommend the Sony WF-1000XM3

In comparison to the Sony WF-1000XM3s and AirPod Pros, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless2 headphones are more comfortable (for me) than the Sony's with sound that is almost on par, just a tad muddier. The ANC is marginally better than the WM-1000XM3s but nowhere near as good as the Airpod Pros. If someone could take the comfort and ANC of the Airpod Pros, combine with the audio quality of the Sony's, they would have an unbeatable combination. Sennheiser comes closest to checking those boxes. But as it stands, you'll have to sacrifice either comfort, fit or sound in conjunction with how much $$ you're willing to spend. If these were $75 cheaper, they would be unbeatable.

Love this brand and always will, but these are mediocre for the price.. and oh Best Buy does not give you a warranty for these.. for the price tag you gave a certain expectation.. these DO NOT live up to it. Sound quality is amazing but it loses connectivity very easily. When I’m at the gym no other pair of earphones do it expect for these. I notice it happens a lot at the gym and I’ve tested it at multiple gyms. I’m assuming other peoples blue tooth connectivity is interfering which shouldn’t be happening with this kind of price.

Probably the best sound experience I've ever had for true wireless earbuds. The case is relatively small, but thick. Earbuds aren't small, but not large. And they don't get as loud as i thought they would. The sound is great. The ANC rids of a large amount sound involving bass from the area, and the case feels super premium, but lack of wireless charging at this price is disappointing. When active, I do wish these could get 1 level higher in volume, but these are loud enough in most situations, after playing with EQ. The problem with these earbuds is the initial price. $300 is too much. At $279 or less you can make an argument, but $300 is too much with the kinds of compromises these earbuds have.

Decent if you get them on sale for $200 or less. I bought these and the iPod pros to compare. The Senn TW2’s have slightly better bass and clarity but lower max volume than the AirPod pros. I could adjust the EQ in Spotify to make the AirPod pros sound pretty equal. I got the AirPod pros on sale for $159 and the TW2’s were not worth the extra $41 bucks so they were returned. I think the AirPod pros are slightly more comfortable also. Kudos to Best Buy for their return policy and allowing me to compare and get the product I wanted. I will always buy my high end stuff from Best Buy.

Excellent earbuds! I tried a few like Bose, Jabra, and the new Sony before keeping those. The big difference for me is the sound quality which is the best according to me. Even if I am not a specialist, I can hear all details, just the right amount of bass and a beautiful feeling that the music is surrounding me. I prefer the sound of these than the multiple beats speakers I have in my car which are supposed to give a premium sound. It’s true that features are more limited than on the Sony but honestly the Momentum delivers what we are expecting from such product: a wonderful beautiful sound! I also find them very comfortable and not heavy or bulky. The new Sony gave me discomfort and sound quality doesn’t reach the Momentum so, I returned them. I totally recommend it if you’re looking for quality.

I am a few weeks in using the Sennheiser Momentum TW2’s and I am very satisfied! Most of the reviews I’ve read and viewed nailed it on the head with what they said about the spacious soundstage that these offer. With the High-End Sound Tuning enabled via the app, and just a little tinkering done in the app’s EQ, the clarity of the sound is beautiful when listening to lossless music. It is an absolute pleasure listening to these! I listen to a mix of many genres, and have not been disappointed with what I’ve heard thus far. My sessions haven’t been super lengthy, maybe 2-3 hours at most with ANC enabled. So no issues with battery life, and I have no complaints about the amount of sound the ANC blocks. The sound from the AC that sits about 10 feet away is virtually non-existent. I have not gone for runs with these, but I have done some movement heavy workouts with no issues of the buds getting lose or falling out. However, I did purchase the Comply TrueGrip Foam Tips, which I feel are a little more comfortable than the standard tips. These may have also played a role in keeping the buds locked in my ears. I would highly recommend these to anyone seeking a pleasurable true wireless listening experience.

Great sounding and comfortable (enough). Let's be honest, I have yet to hear any set of ear buds that sound as good as my over the ear Senis - unfortunately, it took me a while to manage my expectations.. These work well for cycling and provide good noise cancellation for airplanes, though the ambient noise function can seem weird or artificial at times. They're fairly comfortable even after a 5 hour flight, which brings me to the next point of good battery life of 7 hours. They were on sale for $250 and I used $75 of my rewards, so it felt like a great price.

This pair of in ear headphones are amazing. I have over the years purchased several headphones and these by far exceed my expectations the most. The sound is clear and crisp at all volume levels. The controls are easy to operate. They are comfortable in my ears for hours at a time. The battery lasts about 5 1/2 hours if you’re listening to music or making/receiving phone calls. I ride a bicycle often and I use the right ear bud and you can listen to music and take phone calls while being completely aware of your surroundings. The buds never feel like they are going to fall off. I have them paired to an iPhone and use Spotify everyday. I paid 200 for them and passed on the Sony branded m4. These are great all around. The charging case is small enough to pocket and will charge the earbuds 3 times on a single charge. If you are looking for high quality ear buds with great sound pick these up they don’t disappoint. I like that they are not used by many people as they might prefer AirPods or Bose or beats which I have also owned and still prefer these.

Good Sound and Average Everything Else

These are very average compared to the Samsung buds and Jabras. Sound: Is very clean but quiet, 60% volume on normal earbuds is 80% on these, which isn't a big deal because they sound really clean with a neutral sound signature and don't cause any kind of listening fatigue or headache after long sessions. However, for Sennheiser, these sound no better than the Jabra Elite 75t or the new Samsung Buds Pro. App: If you are someone who likes to rely on your earbud's app then these are not for you. The app is horrible, leaning towards useless, it doesn't even tell you when ANC is on or not and the EQ adjuster is bad and doesn't actually change the sound profile of the earbuds. ANC: I officially believe ANC is a fake feature on earbuds, it often can't tell if it is on or not. At best it someone muffles sounds sometimes and other times I feel like I hear more noise with it activated. All and all if you were looking to get new earbuds for ANC as a feature I would say avoid it, it is a gimmick at worse and an excuse to jack up the price at worse. Features: these earbuds feel more like they are a first-generation product. No wireless charging, no multi-device connection, and you cant use each earbud independently from each other, meaning you can't just use the right earbud and leave the left in the case charging and vice versa. Battery: Even with ANC off I notice that the earbud's battery drains really quickly. You would definitely struggle to use these all day if you were not able to put them back in the charging case. Overall: These are very average earbuds with an insane price tag associated with them that makes me lose faith in the Sennheiser brand that I use to love.

The good: Sound that is customizable to a level most earbuds can't achieve. These aren't going to replace over the ear monitors but they possess very good range, bass that isn't boomy but solid and tight and can be customized from neutral to dynamic with pleasing detail throughout it's range. The negatives I've read can be alleviated by getting to know the earbuds and digging into the sub menus. They are updating them regularly so I'm not sure if they are getting warmer on their own with extended play or if it's due to the updates. But the sound gets more pleasing with each wearing. They are great for working out in. No slips at all. I think many of the problems some have are caused by not finding the right earbud size. If they are falling out then you are very likely dissatisfied by the sound also. A solid fit is key. The hear through is ok, The phone quality is excellent...Both hearing and what the other party is hearing. I'm surprised some have issue with that. The bad: Still learning the commands for the tapping of instructions. But the secondary stuff doesn't mean a thing if the sound isn't there.
