Great sound held back by poor ANC implementation
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality was amazing. I used the eq to adjust it a little more to my tastes but even out of the box it was great. Full bodied tight bass, presence in the upper mids, and clear highs. The controls were intuitive and easy to customize. My biggest issue was with the ANC. you can not just set it to a prefixed level. it adjusts itself however it wants based on your surroundings. well it frequently thought my air conditioner was not enough of a noise to cancel. This was irritating as noise would oscillate in and out. I wound up returning it because of these and going back to the soundcore liberty pro 3. The sennheisers soundedbetter, but the ANC was annoying. other noteworthy things, the case feels premium if a little bulky. The earbuds are held in by strong magnets so they don't fly out if you shake the case. wireless charging worked flawlessly. Connection to my phone was strong and didn't cut out when going for a walk. Bottom line, if the auto levelling ANC doesn't bother you, get these. battery life is great and the sound is spectacular.

Woah. AWESOME sound!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to pick up these new Sennheiser Momentum 3 Earbuds and they do not disappoint! The sound from these earbuds is incredible. A full display of highs, mids, and lows. I love all types of music from classical to death metal and have tested out all the sound ranges with these earbuds and Sennheiser nailed the delivery of sound. To get the most out of these earbuds, you will have to download the app. The app is where you can fine-tune these earbuds to get the ultimate listening experience. The app is very intuitive and lets you keep your buds up-to-date and much much more. So what’s in the box? What comes in the beautifully packaged and laid out box is the earbud case, the earbuds, a USB-C charging cable, fitment wings, and rubber earpieces, some paperwork. There is so much to love about these earbuds. Not only do they sound amazing, but they have some pretty cool features as well. The Active Noise Cancelling is crazy good. The Transparency Mode is pretty good and lets you keep tabs on your surrounding while listening to music, this is great when going for a jog and you need to hear your surroundings. The touch buttons on the earbuds are great and are very responsive. The Momentum 3 are IPx4 rated so as not to be submerged in water, but they will keep dust and sweat out. When I tested these earbuds out while using the phone, they performed very well. Both the person I was talking to and I saw no drops or delays and the sound was great as if the person was right in front of you but with an even better sounding voice. The case the buds nest in is awesome. I love how the grey fabric looks and feels. The most impressive thing about this case is it is wireless charging capable. This means if you have a Qi charger or a phone that you can charge off of, these buds should never run out of juice because all you need to do is place the case on the wireless charger and you will be good to go. With the incredible sound, the app, the case, the fitment and feel of these buds, I am so happy I got to pick these up. I would recommend these earbuds to anyone who loves music and wants to experience the sound of hearing every instrument when the band is playing. These are for more of the audiophile and not so much the person that would be working out in the rain. I LOVE these earbuds!! Sennheiser crushed it with these.

Great sound, poor IP protection.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best sounding buds i've used and I tried all the high end buds. They fit well, better than the MTW2 that I have. They are smaller and a bit lighter. The issue I have with these buds is the IP rating. I used them for running and workouts and for that they are not good. Sweat definitely effected connectivity making these almost unusable for workouts. I had to purchase another set of buds for workouts that could stand up the rigors i put them through. If you don't sweat a lot or don't plan on making these your workout buds I'd highly recommend them. For workouts, not so much.

Good product, great bass, great noise canceling
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good on these. The bass boost in the app is nice and the noise canceling is pretty good. Sound quality could use more crisp highs. Best feature is the adjustable rubber flaps that allow better fitment in the ear, though it could use some improvement, its definitely a unique feature to this earbud. They come with 3 different sizes aside from the standard flap. These earbuds also come with 3 other sizes for the ear canal pads. So far these are better than my previous purchase of Sony earbuds.

Great sound worth the money.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sennh ear buds are hands The best earbuds I have ever purchased. The sound quality, voice, and base are superb. If there was one, con it would be the fact that I wear them everywhere plus to the gym and their durability last me about 18 months l. However as a total tech, I can get them replaced for free, if something goes wrong. Basic problems have been, sound quality reduction and earbud just not charging. Splash proof but not really waterproof.

Perfection!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are extraordinary! Not only are they smaller compared to their predecessor, but also have better battery life! They fit comfortablely in the ear and have this fins that can be taken off or replaced for a better grip on the ear. Spud quality is also amazing and Sennheiser has improved their bass too! I recommend these earbuds!

One of the best in Bass!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few days of research and also trying out the Sony XM5 earbuds and having experienced Air Pod Pros in the past, I was seeking a set of earbuds with high quality sound with a stronger and deeper emphasis on bass. These buds completely fill that satisfaction! The Momentum 3s are feature rich with a solid app and EQ but it is the punchy bass and deeper sub bass that creates an encompassing sound for me. I often listen to Hip Hop and Rap and these do every song justice. Mids and highs are also clear as Sennheisser is reputed in quality sound. Only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because the Bluetooth connection can be finicky. After just two months, I almost thought I was doomed with a problematic set that this pair has been known for. After a few attempts of resetting everything, I was able to fix it. Comfortability and a nice seal is not the best I’ve had. Had the Sony’s had a comparable bass, I might have stuck with those.

Nightmare earbuds for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT buy these headphones. I have gotten these 3 times through returns and trades, and have had the same problems ALL 3 times. Let me start with the positive. These headphones actually do have quite good sound quality as someone who is not an audiophile but does use headphones and earbuds almost all day for different uses. The noise cancellation, at first, is very good and can adapt with settings for different areas and whatnot. The EQ settings are also nice with different profiles and a good settings screen (again, unused relatively for me as I am not an audiophile). Now here's where the problems begin, and I'll remind any one reading this that this happened with ALL 3 pairs I had, even after taking better care of them and using more precautions. Starting with the most prevalent, the charging pads and connectivity. After only a few DAYS, not even weeks, the charging pads on these earbuds are extremely iffy. Sometimes I go to place the earbuds in and leave it to charge, just to come back an hour later to find it was a MILLIMETER off, therefore it did not only not charge, but lost battery because it didn't disconnect. Second off, the noise cancelation. While it works for a while pretty well with both ears in, if you have one ear in (from what I read online most people said just the right ear, I've now experienced it with both) you will get a whooshing / beeping sound every 2-3 seconds with the noise cancelation on, which you can NOT turn off without both earbuds connected. The only fix seems to be taking off the eartips and removing a black piece of film between the speakers and the tips. This of course will allow them to get dirtier quicker, making the noise level drop within a week or two if you are not cleaning your ears and headphones daily. Speaking of, the volume levels do drop quite fast, and this also results in the noise cancellation becoming not as good, allowing a lot of bleed in and weird airy noises when the turning the head or adjusting the earbuds. Finally, the settings. Although I praised them slightly earlier, as with most aspects of this product, you can find holes to poke very quickly as you use them. Starting off, as mentioned before, the headphones seem to maybe be capable of connecting inside the case or just have awful seats for the chargers, yet to edit any settings (at least on apple) through the Smart Control app (NOT available on computers to my knowledge, so good luck bootlegging settings there) , at least one earbud must be OUT of the case and connected. Even then, you cannot adjust the noise cancelation settings without both in. Overall I have had an extremely negative experience for the company being so reputable, and ESPECIALLY for the price of these earbuds. I hate to give apple credit because of how much they price gouge, but if you don't want to experiment with earbuds and deal with stuff like this, apple airpods (again, if you have an iPhone) are probably better in every single way besides maybe sound quality.

Pretty above average
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a certified audiophile but these sound amazing. I sent back to some old songs and they sound richer. Blocks out just enough sound to get me through an 8 hour shift. The battery could be a bit better but overall it's pretty sturdy. It last 7 hours or so but charging it for a bit could bring it back to a good 30% in about 12 minutes. Fit isn't too bad and the volume is phenomenal. Though the noise cancelling probably is better on a Sony product, these do ok but you have to crank up the volume sometimes to really drown out all that background noise in a loud setting such as outside or in a bus. I can easily listen to an audiobook while being able to hear the surrounding environment or questions I may be asked while at work which is inside and it's still practical and useful depending on the setting. I think these are a pretty good purchase especially with the price drop.

Fit for anyone who likes to hear the music
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me many weeks before I tried the largest earbud tip on a whim. I had never thought it would fit. It did, and the good seal provides greatly improved noise cancelation/isolation and bass. The equalizer app provides five band adjustment and the bud provides a transparency and clarity to music that brings an immersive listening experience. Due to my hearing, I can only make use of single earbud --but it's still a purchase I'm happy with. Sennheiser includes four eartip sizes and cleverly constructed wings to anchor the fit, but they are in a very flimsy cardboard case. Take the time to mix and match the tips and wings. You may be as surprised and delighted as I am tonight.

The good, the bad and the left earbud
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is good, the best that I've heard from any earbud I've tried so far, though I haven't tried a many (about 3 or 4 pairs.) The fit and comfort was really good after I found the right size eartips and fin. I wasn't able to hear my own heartbeat or footsteps when wearing these either which is really good cause I hate hearing those. Connectivity is okay, when I first got them the connection would drop and I'd have to reseat them in the case and take them out again, this hasn't happened to me in awhile. Sometimes when I'd place them in the case the earbuds wouldn't disconnect from my phone and I'd have to reseat them, that rarely happened but it has happened. Sometimes when moving/shaking the case the earbuds would connect to my phone, I think the earbuds come loose from the magnets holding it in place and cause it to connect. I only ever connect these earbuds to my phone so the no multi point wasn't a deal breaker for me. Being able to use the earbuds independently from one another was a big plus for me, I've only had one other set of earbuds be able to do it. Touch controls are nice and were responsive to me but I couldn't change what each tap would do unless both earbuds were in. I also couldn't activate hear through or ANC while only one earbud is in. I hardly use either of those two options, though, it would have been nice to be able to use hear through with only one earbud in. The battery life was good compared to most of the other earbuds I've tried, can't say for sure when ANC or hear through are on though since I don't typically have both earbuds in to try it. The Big Problem: While at work the left earbud made a strange sound, like static, it only lasted a couple seconds but after the left earbud would play at a significantly reduced sound level from the right earbud, wearing both earbuds makes this very noticeable. I've had these earbuds about 3 months and used them, typically, 4 days a week for about 8 hours on each of those days. I've never had this happen with any other earbuds and I've never had any other earbuds last this short amount of time. I've sent them in for warranty around (09/11/22) and we'll see what happens.

Good TW and Call Buds, But Very Sensitive Controls
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for good call quality and I the people I talk to have mentioned that the Momentums provide this. I believe this comes at the cost of increased background noise, so they hear sounds in my background. Music and audio sound quality is great, customizability of the controls is great, and ANC and transparency modes are great. My biggest gripe with this device is how sensitive the touch controls are. I found the best way to readjust them in my ears to avoid hanging up on people, but it happens more than I'd like. Same thing with things I listen to. Not sure if they have multipoint, but they do seamlessly connect between to of my paired devices.

Great audio and battery life
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great audio! I had the first generation TW, and those were my daily drivers until my case broke so was in the market to get a new pair. These had just come out so started doing some research on them. Was a bit weary since Sennheiser had sold their headphone division a few years back. I love the the audio sounds very close to being flat but the Sennheiser app allows you to adjust to your preference. Case is smaller than the first generation. Phone calls sounds pretty good. The ANC is decent, but works well. Only con is that the headphones do not disconnect from the phone whent hey are placed back in their case, like the first generation ones I had. I looked it up, and it seem a few people have that issue. I guess it due to weaker magnets used. It's annoying, but the audio quality for me outweighs it and I just need to remember to disconnect manually.

Get Them!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I was a little hesitant at first, primarily due to the initial cost and some reviews. But the earbuds were on sale, so we’ll priced that I HAD to buy them. With that said, the fit is great, the battery life is incredible, and I’ve experienced flawless pairing/connectivity. As for sound…. WOW! There is something to be said for multiple drivers vs. a single one. Bass response is phenomenal, highs are crisp and the midrange isn’t muddy at all! I use them daily, and they seem very durable as well. In short, worth every penny in my opinion.

A step above others
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is amazing as to be expected from sennheiser. The fit could be a bit better but they are on the larger side, ambient mode as an audible hiss when its on the high setting, and anc compared to other isnt as good but still effective. According to other's, the phone calls are better than any other pair i own(airpods pro 2, bose qc2, jabra elite 75t, etc.) Which is a big plus for me as i use them for phone calls multiple times a day. My only real gripe is i use spinfit ear tips and it sometimes prevents them from making contact in the case and therefor doesnt charge, not really a fault of the earbuds though. Other than that, would definitely recommend.
