    Best Wireless Sound

These headphones perform way out of their league sound wise. This is as good as it gets with wireless headphones in that regard, and its not really close. It really does have that Sennheiser sound (the positives & negatives: you can definitely hear the infamous veil and 3 blob sound stage, but in my opinion those issues are more prevalent in mid or hifi set ups as opposed to wireless). The customization options also boost it in that department, allowing you to create your perfect sound profile. Where it does lag behind is in the noise cancelling and comfort departments. The ANC isn't anything more than standard, which becomes lackluster at this price range, especially if that's one of your main sticking points. Comfort wise its very individual dependent, since the small earcups have caused me some issues which pale in comparison to the Bose QC Ultra, for example. Friends who've tried them haven't had those complains, though. These are my personal pick out the top line wireless headphones because I prioritize sound quality & battery life, which are the biggest strengths of these cans. If your priorities are more geared towards top of the line comfort & convenience, the Bose or Sony offerings might be a more wise purchase.

I think Sennheiser missed on this one

Amazing hardware as always from Sennheiser like always. Comfortable fit and good build quality. Major problems with software and features. I got these to upgrade from the PXC-IIs that were starting to drop my connection after 4 years of use, while, the PXC-IIs were not perfect at connecting with more than one device at a time, they preformed far better than the M4s. I will be listening to music or on a call and if battery saving auto detection mode are on, the M4s would randomly disconnect, even with active audio coming out of the headsets. This ought to be a simple firmware fix, but reading online it seems this has been an ongoing problem since launch. I really wanted to love them because my PXC-II were amazing. Another pet peeve is that you can’t turn off ANC at all, you can only toggle transparency mode across a slider. All in all the M4s are great for reproducing sound and ANC, and the battery life is amazing but all the poorly implemented “features” make this model a miss for me. Might be returning them.

I'm giving them 4 stars because they do have great noise canceling properties, but if the volume is low enough, which is maybe halfway to the max, you can hear things from the outside and I've tested it even when I have the ANC Filter on and while it's transparent. But if the volume is at a certain level, it works perfectly. Would recommend these compared to Sony or Bose headphones. Definitely worth the price but earbuds are better. Also be conscious that the app has changed ownership, and the customer service is a lot more lax. It's not as good as what it used to be. But compared to the horrible customer servers at bose, their customer service is at least better in sending you recommendations on how to fix or restart your product. And the battery life is AMAZING, i can go listening with these headphones for 5 to 7 hours per day for a whole week and it would still be at 50% charge at least.

Sound, look and feel great, but not as good at NC

IMO best sound, comfort and looks. Noise cancelling (NC) well below the Bose QC which I owned before they were stolen. I'm OK with it as the Bose would hurt my inner ears after about 2 hours on a plane and I can wear these forever. As long as I'm not next to a crying baby, these suffice. Whatever I'm listening to drowns out 95% of what leaks through the NC. Love the look of the case but it's on the large side and not the best for traveling light. They were $150 cheaper then the Bose and the sound is better. I've used Sennheiser in pro sound applications and accept that their quality and durability are high.

These headphones are amazing! I was skeptical however after the first juice I'd love the future where you just place The headphones on your head and automatically syncs and turns onto your music. Rich sound quality that doesn't sound like your in a tin can. I was super impressed with the battery life. The tap controls simple and easy to learn and to use. The construction of the headphones are good sturdy and they don't feel like they're going to break . I like the fabric on top of the headband and they're super light and actually fit around your ears so you don't get that annoying press on your ears. Excellent buy and worth the cost.

Best headphones I’ve ever purchased. I’m an avid gamer and frequent traveler so I’ve tried my fair share of headsets. From open backs to closed these are by far the best quality I’ve tested. It’s like getting your ears cleaned at the doctor for the first time. You’ll hear sounds you didn’t know existed. Just an added bonus that the app allows you to completely change the audio settings to your preference. The ANC works great as well as the transparency mode. Battery lasts forever without a charge. Only issue I’ve had with this, is making phone calls. Sometimes it has trouble connecting and the mic won’t work. If you’re just using these for everyday listening, I wouldn’t look anywhere else!

The sound is AMAZING! I was expecting the best when I purchased these and yet I was still shocked at how well everything sounds. My favorite is how well the bass sounds. Noise cancelling does its job very well too. They are comfortable to wear. Easy to charge and it gets many hours to a charge.

These are the best sounding noise canceling headphones I have ever owned. The sound and noise canceling is customizable in the app. The bass is perfect. The highs and mids are nice and clear. I had the Bose CQ 35 II, and these are so much better for sound quality. The Bose is a better for noise canceling, but the sound quality is my primary feature. The comfort and battery life is great. I am very satisfied with these headphones and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best sound quality in nose canceling headphones.

I had the pleasure of using the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones for approximately 8 months, and they quickly became one of my favorites. Here’s why: Sound Quality: The Momentum 4s deliver exceptional sound quality. Whether I was immersed in music, podcasts, or movies, the audio was crisp, clear, and beautifully balanced. Responsive Touch Gestures: The touch controls on these headphones were a delight. Adjusting volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls—all at my fingertips. Unfortunately, my unit developed a glitch, and the touch gestures stopped working. A minor hiccup in an otherwise stellar experience. Comfort Quandary: Now, let’s talk comfort. The headband design left something to be desired. After extended use, it would occasionally leave a gentle dent in my noggin. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. Battery Life: Brace yourself for this: the Momentum 4s boast an insanely long battery life—up to 60 hours! But here’s the twist: I sometimes forgot to charge them overnight. After two days of blissful listening, I’d find myself scrambling for a power source. That’s when I realized the true magic of these headphones. Simultaneous Charging and Bluetooth: The feature I sorely miss when using other headphones is the ability to charge while still using Bluetooth. Picture this: I’m grooving to my favorite tunes, battery running low, and—voilà! —I plug in the charging cable without missing a beat. It’s like having an invisible DJ who keeps the party going. In summary, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones strike a harmonious balance between sound quality, functionality, and endurance. While they may have ditched their flashy predecessor’s aesthetics, they’ve more than made up for it in performance. So, if you’re seeking a top-tier wireless headphone experience without breaking the bank, these are definitely worth considering!

These headphones are comfortable and well-made so far. The fit of the earpads go over my ears and the depth is good. The functionality is good with audio cues when you play/pause and get an audible cue when you put the headphones back on(smart pause/wear sensor). The touchpad is very responsive with gestures that are intuitive( better than the Sony XM5 in this regard). The Sound is very good and among the best with a very detailed bass that is boosted a bit but the performance is good. The mids are clear that the vocals are not recessed. Treble is airy and detailed. (you would spend over $700 to get something marginally better) The ANC is rather good not the best but in the same realm(IT IS NOT a night and day difference). The ANC is well done and clean (no black noise of feedback) The transparency is decent/good get the job done/ and does protect against any sudden loud volume increases. The headphones support sbc, aac/ and apt x*, apt x adaptive* for *higher quality audio. The app is good and one of the better apps out there although with some bugs. Also if you want a spacial audio type mode these do not have that. With that said The Sennheiser Momentum 4 are a very good pair of headphones.

Wow, this headphones got the comfort of the QC45, the feeling of the XM5s, the weight of the Airpods Max, not that they are super heavy but the premium side of it, because this stay on my head with regular shaking compare to the Max, now, the sound is subjective, never had a Senheiser product before, I thought that it was gonna be Bassy and agressive, but no, is gentle even at loud volumes, you bring the bass all the way down and it still doesn't sound flat, is like it can do things that other can do but better, I never thought I was gonna find the perfect headphones but I finnaly did, Simply AMAZING, also, ANC is acceptable, and Ambient mode, the most important feature for me, I can say, not natural but totaly acceptable, I am very picky with my ambient mode, and I can say, for me is tottaly usable.

Very comfortable to wear. The sound is rich and balanced. If you like bass boom boom, this is not your thing though. The battery seems last forever. I just completed a 15 hr flight into Asia and used this headset non stop without worrying about the battery life. Awesome! The touch control, as said by many people, is too sensitive. When I try to reposition the headset, that activates some control. Please do something about it. The connectivity can be finicky from time to time. The app is not great but good enough The sound is what I had expected from this brand so I’m 95% happy.

These headphones are excellent at canceling noise. I couldn’t even hear my husband speaking to me. I could tell he was talking, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying. So, if you’re looking for effective noise cancellation, these are the perfect choice for you! We found them a bit uncomfortable to wear, but they say they will mold to your head. We didn't keep them long enough for that to happen. They were too heavy for us. Also, our connectivity was odd.

These headphones do just about everything you would want. I was coming from using AirPods Pro for a number of years, which i loved for their convience with connection and their balanced sound quality. However, when my pair starting crackling and losing sound quality, it was time to upgrade. I have a large collection of lossless audio, so I decided to try and look for headphones that could be plugged in via an audio cable to allow for lossless audio playback. So upgrading to another pair of airpods were out of the question. But i also wanted to have the convience of bluetooth for when i am doing dishes or mowing the lawn. That’s how i settled on buying these. They are bluetooth for convience, but you can also run them wired through an audio cable or USB to listen to lossless audio. These really are the best of both worlds. Their sound quality is great for closed-back headphones. They have an app that you can equalize your audio through, which was nice for me to achieve the balance I enjoyed with AirPods Pro. The battery life is fantastic, i usually only have to charge them once or twice a month, and thats coming from someone who uses them most of the day at work 5 days a week. Also, as an added bonus, when using in bluetooth mode, they will seemlessly pair with up to 2 devices at a time. So I can have them paired to my iPhone and my Mac and seemlessly swap audio between them, just like I could with my AirPods. Of course, when using them wired I sacrifice this functionality, but it’s nice to know it’s there for using on bluetooth. They will also show their battery level in the battery widget on Mac in bluetooth mode, which tells me they put the effect in to utilize Apple’s APIs when they developed the headphones. Just a nice touch for Mac users! So if you want a jack-of-all-trades kind of headphone, this is the perfect option for you.

I initially purchased the Apple Air over the ear headphones and returned them because they were super heavy and i coumdnt turn them off without the case. I purchased the Sony xm4 and broke the plastic that holds the ear almost immediately. I purchaed ghe xm5 and they broke as well. I bought 3 more pairs of Sony because the sound was so good. Finally, i bought these and never looked back. Just get them. The sound quality, the build quality and the battery life are game changers

I have done a lot of research on over-ear headphones with ANC. I've also tried on a lot of pairs. I own the Momentum 3's so I'm mainly comparing to those. These don't sound quite as good as the 3's which is why I'm not giving them 5 stars. However, that's not to say they sound bad. They actually sound very good. Compared to the 3's these have a lot going for them. They're WAY more comfortable. They're lighter and the cushions in both the ear pads and the headband are amazing. I've been wearing them for almost 3 hours straight with no problem. I also love the look of these headphones. They're very pretty. I actually kind of like the touch gestures, they're intuitive once you learn them. The battery, while I haven't tested it fully...is insane. You won't find another pair of headphones that lasts as long. These retailed for around $400, but you can now find them at $250 during prime day and black friday, which I think is a great deal for these. They perform just as well if not better than the headphones that are still close to that $400 range.

Great pair of headphones. I bought to replace Bose QC 45's. I'll say the QC 45's felt great and were very comfortable, but when I got my Sennheiser's, the ear pads were to soft and comfortable that it felt like pillows and the light weight complimented it greatly. About a month later and I still really like them and often wear them just because. Very comfortable and the sound is very good; classic of Sennheiser and the ANC is really good as well. Good enough to be sitting next to a loud PC and still be very quiet on the headphones.
