The sound quality of these headphones is excellent, especially for vocals. You can download an app to customize the EQ settings to your liking. They are comfortable to wear, though they can get a bit warm. The Bluetooth connection is stable, and the touch controls on the ear cups are convenient but very sensitive, leading to accidental touches. Initially, there was a low hum, but it disappeared after a few days of use, and now everything works fine. I previously used the Sony WH-1000XM4. In comparison, the sound quality of the Momentum 4 is better, but its noise cancellation is slightly weaker. The WH-1000XM4 is lighter, but I prefer the aesthetic and build quality of the Momentum 4, as the WH-1000XM4 feels more plasticky. In other aspects, I don't notice much difference between the two.

These are the best value ANC over the ear headphones you can buy. Amazing sound quality but ANC could be better. Battery life is amazing and earcups actually are comfortable. If you care about sound quality get these

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Bluetooth headphones offer outstanding audio quality with deep bass and clear treble. They're super comfortable for long listening sessions, have excellent noise cancellation, and boast a remarkable battery life. The design is sleek, though not too flashy. Great choice for audiophiles on the go!

Overall these are good quality headphones. The sound has very good clarity. Headphones are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The materials seem to be of good quality. These headphones come with a case to store in, a decently long charge cable, headphone cable, and airplane adapter. The cell phone app works and allows you to change the equalizer. The noise cancelling works good and can be easily fine-tuned using the headphone touchpad. The led's give you an indication of how much time is left to charge the battery.

Great sound, bass and battery life! The headphones are comfortable while being a little warm around the ear pads. And the only real downside being the subpar ANC compared to Sony and Bose. But the sound quality surpasses its ANC performance.

Noise canceling is pretty good, audio quality for music is pretty good, comfort is very good. I found them very comfortable to honestly just fall asleep in. It did ignore me in some ways, for example, if I lay down with them on sometimes it'll think I'm no longer wearing the headphones and then pause what I'm listening to. I can turn that off in the settings but then when I do that sometimes the headphones will automatically turn off after a period of use because they think they're not on my head because I turned off the on head detection. I feel like the features are nice overall, but I was annoyed enough by some things that I'm looking for another headset now. Overall, it's a good headset and it's comfortable. But just good.

I haven’t worn over the ear headphones since the original OG MONSTER CABLE Beats by Dr. Dre plug in Studio headphones. With all the new technology, styles, and colors . . . It became hard to decide which one would be best for my needs and I just landed on the basic Apple AirPods and updated generations that followed. When it was time to land on an over the ear headset after over a decade of not owning one . . . I did a lot of research online and in person. Sennheiser has always been audio company since as far back as I can remember. Focusing solely on microphones, headphones, and speakers . . . Their products can be found in high end music studios, movie sets, and of course at home too. Their products were never “cheap” and some would even say . . . “Quite expensive”. In reality you get what you pay for. With all my research I not only found that this was a great headset, but the fit, comfort, color options, BATTERY LIFE, noise cancelling performance, included accessories, and portable and sleek hard case made it tough to not want to add this to my life. After using it daily for the past few months, I can say that I have zero regrets with my purchase decision. Traveling with this is simple and comfortable when worn on 11 to 13 hour business flights. The sound quality far exceeds the competition in the same and even higher price ranges, the unit is very easy to use and operate, and looks elevated while not being overly gaudy and futuristic when compared to other brands and models. I have had no issues with glitches, spotty connections, or wear and tear with use that far exceeds the norm of a casual headphone user. I would recommend this to anyone considering to buy any headphone in the $349 to $599 price point range. None offer the battery life that this one provides and it’s not “heavy” when worn for hours at a time.

Best headphones I’ve ever owned. In terms of; - Battery Life - Sound Quality - Comfort - Build Quality For desktop connectivity I wouldn’t suggest Bluetooth but rather using the usb dongle that’s sold separately. The ANC(Active-Noise-Cancelling) could be better but not enough to knock any stars off.

2 years review: good sound bad user experience

I bought these headphones 2 years ago during Black Friday and decided to finally write a reciew about them. Hesitant on exactly how many stars I should rate it, but ultimately decided on a middle 3 stars. These headphones are good, they sound great straight out of the box and you can use the app to tweak the EQ if you want (although recently I feel like the EQ settings aren’t really effecting the sound at all). But then comes the issues I’ve had with this headphone for the last two years. While Sennheisser makes incredible sounding products, the software and user experience on these are simply terrible and frustrating! I’ve had to turn off and on the headphones numerous times because of connectivity issues. My biggest gripe comes with the touch controls bring unresponsive sometimes, which causes the ANC and Transparent mode to not work (turning the headphones off and on fixes the problem sometimes, but the odds aren’t that great). Recently, I’ve had issues with the on-head detection too. Taking off the headphones doesn’t pause the music (and guess what, I can’t pause it with the touch controls because, well it’s unresponsive again). Toggling the on-head detection setting in the app doesn’t fix that problem. Overall, these headphones sound great, the battery life is incredible (I rarely charge these). But the overall user experience is just horrible, borderline unusable sometimes. If you’re looking for headphones just get the Sony WH1000XM4s or XM5s.

Very good head phones, love the bass it has, and the battery life is definitely gonna be the best factor, just wish it was a little louder but the noise cancellation makes it good enough that you don’t really need that extra volume

This is my most expensive purchase as a student and not even once I have regretted it. I bought it for $265 after taxes (about 7 months ago) and if you are in the market for the best sound then look no further. Yes the ANC might be better on the Sony XM5 but my usage is usually in a closed quiet room. The battery life is so superior. My usage is very heavy and I have to charge it twice a month almost. You might enter a state of trance while listening in these (more so if you are using Apple Music). I would buy these if had to buy it again. Also, I bought Senheisser Accentum to gift someone. If you can't afford these then I would say that the Accentum's are really good for the price. When compared, Momentum 4 has an overall better built quality, battery life, ANC (you can adjust the ANC level in momentum 4 but not in Accentum), a slightly better sound (15-20% at max). I have also tried Airpods max and was even happier that I got the Momentum 4s. Apart from spatial audio there was nothing special about airpods max (garbage when price is considered). I watched this particular youtube review which compared basically all the headphones(Bose, Sony, apple, Bowers & Wilkins and many more) in the market (do have a look, it's very comprehensive) - https://youtu.be/l5qootmFQx0?si=7BXezoG32-y00uWg Even he found the momentum 4s to be the best in terms of sound.

Great sound, a bit on the bassy side but not much. It’s about as neutral as you’d want from a consumer set of headphones. The app is amazing. Let’s you set your own EQ and save them as well. Sound zones are great as you can automatically set the sound profile based on location. The headphones feel and look premium. I wear glasses and so far no issues with comfort. Battery life is amazing and the case is premium. Overall a great purchase.

Excellent Sennheiser Sound, Lower Build Quality

I have owned a set of Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless headphones for 5 years and have appreciated the sound quality of them, but the battery will no longer hold a charge and I've been unable to find a replacement of decent quality so decided to replace the Urbanites. I looked at several different models and brands, but came back to Sennheiser due to the sound quality. But, the caveat is that Sennheiser headphones are no longer actually made by Sennheiser, the consumer audio division is now owned and operated by Sonova as Swiss company known for hearing aids. That change in ownership is reflected in the construction quality of the Momentum 4 headphones, which is to say, they are basically plastic and do not feel they will last as long as the Urbanites (which still work, but only hold a charge for 10 to 20 minutes.) Charge however isn't a problem with the Momentum 4s, which I can use for about 40 hours before charging. Soundwise, if you use the Sennheiser app, then go the Equalizer and Select "Rock" and Bass Boost you will have a sound profile identical to the old Urbanites. The newer technology of Noise Cancellation makes a huge difference in listening pleasure. The touch controls are pretty much unchanged after 5 years. I'm glad they switched to USB-C as the connection instead of the old micro-USB and the continued inclusion of a jack for plugging in the headphones (the inclusion of an airplane adapter is nice too.)

Much improved over the Momentum 3s. While the momentum 3s had great sound quality and just ok ANC, the momentum 4 improves in these areas and more. ANC is way better, no more distortion and is on par with some of the best. My biggest complaint about the momentum 3s were comfort. It became fatiguing to wear after 2 hours. I wore these on an 11 hour plane ride and never felt the need to take them off. Also the battery life on these is insane now. Only knock on these headphones is the touch controls. They do take some getting use to and I much prefer the buttons on the old headphone. Other than that this is my favorite travel headphone along with the XM5s. But these are cheaper and have better sound quality. Highly recommend.

Overall a good experience, sound quality overall is pretty solid. Bass is amazingly deep and clean, by far the most noticeable difference between these and other headphones. Able to use them with no battery wired into my PC and wirelessly with my Phone. Battery life is almost 3 days worth and they charge super fast. Love the carrying case and use it to transport them to work and back without fear of them being broken tossed in a bag. However the feedback from the controls is terrible. There are just leds that make it really hard to tell if the headset is on or not. Hard to tell if the headset is being turned off or on or if the headset is low on battery. The only indicator that they are on is a click sound which you won’t notice if you aren’t wearing them. Overall I still accidentally turn them on when I want to turn them off and vice versa. Other times they don’t show charge when they are charging and seem to freeze up and don’t show any leds unless you hold the power button down for a while and then they turn off and work fine after. No idea, but seems like something firmware could fix. The sound quality over Bluetooth is noticeably compressed to a trained ear, but you can use these wired with a good amp and get great sound quality akin to regular wired sennhieser products.

I have never owned Sennheiser headphones before They sound phenomenal like wow i was blown away and how good my music sounds!! The crips highs, clear vocals, mids and just balanced perfect all the way around, even bass is punchy and not flat. I have an Iphone 12 plus and didnt know how it will sound. At first, the volume was very low i had to turn it up to 65-70 to hear which hurt my ears. I did some research and after going under Settings then under Music; i turned off Sound Check and switched Dolby Atmos to automatic instead of always on.. and what an instant difference!.. songs were loud at 50 volume now and the songs sounded great! I have my preset to 0 on my equalizer sounds great without it. I am very happy with these headphones and i use them daily!!

I have a set of Sennheiser wired headphones and love them but purchased these for situations that make the wired ones impractical. This model has the same impeccable sound, but they really shine with noise cancellation enabled. It astounded me how well they work to mute outside noise. I use them several hours daily, and they have great battery life I initially had some issues with crackling, but a quick firmware update (applied using the phone app) resolved them. My only "complaint", for lack of a better term, stems from the amount of surface pressure on my ears. While not immediately painful (the cushions feel nice and soft), they do cause some discomfort after extended use but not enough for me to lament my purchase.

Really like these headphones and for my purposes its next to perfect. The a few issues i have is that the pass through isnt as good as i expected, and connection to a pc isnt as seemless as i wanted. Though i suspect that is an issue with how my set up currently functions and not the fault of the head phones. Over all the comfort, audio quality, and controls make it a good set. Also no need to mention battery life as it lasts a week before i charge it anyways

Solid pair headphones, good build quality and comfort. ANC is a bit lacklustre but gets the job done for the most part. But sound quality more than makes up for it. Comparing it to Sony xm series or the AirPods maxes, the Momentum 4's really sound the most balanced and clear. Not to mention the 60 hour battery life is amazing, I barely need to charge the headphone most weeks
