    Great sounding earbuds

Great sounding earbud especially when you add foam tips. Sennheiser's companion app is great for tweaking the sound. If these have downside it's the microphone. People on calls complain of an echo. This is the only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars.

    MTW2 was the peak, disappointing.

I have been loyal to sennheiser since the MTW1, and was so enthralled by MTW2 that I stayed with it when the 3 came out. Unfortunately, the 2 is no longer available and the 4 seemed the only reasonable choice. While the sound is complex and satisfying, and the noise cancelling is quite good for riding the subway, I have had nonstop connection issues and finally battery issues with these headphones. Just eight months into use, they will not hold a charge or connect as desired. Big disappointment.

    Expected Nothing Less!!!

With a name like Sennheiser, you expect exceptional sound and quality. These earbuds do just that and I would have expected (and accepted) nothing less!!! The sound is exceptional and you can tweak them to your liking with the Sennheiser Smart Control smartphone app. More importantly, I can use them for a good while (2 to 3 hours) without any discomfort and I can hear the higher pitched voices without any problem which was my whole reason for using headphones. I have the Momentum over the ear headphones which are also exceptional, but they rub against the headrest on my couch causing external sound distortion. The earbuds are a great alternative. I purchased Apple AirBuds Pro about a year ago. I noticed they made my ears hurt - they sound good, but that's irellevant if you're in pain. The pain was around the area where the airbuds make contact with the ear before the ear canal. This appears to be common based on my research. Anyone want a free pair of airbuds?

Sennheiser has struggled in the past with reliability, but they seem to have heard the complaints and responded with these new momentum 4s. They also sound phenomenal, the case is great, they have long battery life, and the fit is really nice too. Quite possibly the best bluetooth earbuds available right now.

This ear buds fits nicely in the ear without bothering me too much after a few hours of use. The only down side is the anc does not work as well the airpods pro 2. Also would be nice to have swipe gestures for volume instead of pushing and holding down on one of the ear buds. Overall its a very nice earbuds and very comfortable. Also, the app is easy to use

I read plenty of reviews where people say these aren't as good as others, but decided to give them a try after putting it off. These sound amazing. Balanced sound, crystal clarity. I'm using an aptx adaptive capable android phone, and it sounds fantastic. Tried aptx lossless and after disabling bluetooth on all my other devices it kept a stable connection from my laptop and BT adapter and sparkled even more. Just a little more with lossless but enough to appreciate. I listen mostly to classical and light jazz. Loved how the nuances and subtleties came through, and i could follow individual instrumdnts and enjoy each of their melodies individually instead of everything being glued together like a wad of chewing gum. I think when it comes to classical and orchestral music you can't go by the reviews of typical consumers. No doubt their favorites might sound better on other ear buds, but these are hands down a winner for me!

If your top priority is a high-fidelity listening experience, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds are an easy recommendation. They offer a refined, audiophile-grade sound, excellent features, and robust connectivity. While the ANC is very good and not quite class-leading, the overall package more than justifies the price. For me, the aural bliss they provide is well worth the investment, and they have quickly become my go-to earbuds for daily use.

Originally I had the momentum 2's and always thought they left a lot to be desired across the board especially in the mids and highs. Battery life was normal I guess? For some earbuds. Fast forward to a month ago and I decided to upgrade to the momentum 4's. And wow! I was more than pleasantly surprised at how much better they sound all around compared to the previous pair that I had. I cannot recommend these high enough to anyone looking for earbuds that punch and deliver well above their price point.

My choice for new buds came down to the Sennheiser Momentum TW 4 or the Bose QC Ultra. Let me start by saying that I'm a big fan of Bose, and up against almost any other set of buds, I would have chosen them. The Bose sound great. But the Sennheiser's just scream premium. The case is beautiful, the buds themselves look very high quality, the Sennheiser app is robust and user friendly, and the sound quality is just phenomenal. No fancy spatial audio like the Bose, which is fine. What you get is clean, crisp, beautiful sound, with enough eq settings to tailor your music just how you like it. I couldn't be happier!

Great audio, features, battery life. A deal breaker for me was a weird feedback noise that would happen here and there which was a loud screech in the right eatbud for me. Looked at reviews and happens with other people unprovoked.

The earbud market is flooded with oodles of models from Apple, Samsung, Bose, etc., so are these any better than the rest? I've used multiple earbuds from all the big players like Apple, Bose, Beats and they all have standout features and/or just sound terrific. There are those in the mid-range that offer decent features for reasonable prices and then there are ones that just kinda defy conventional wisdom....these are those kinds of earbuds. For starters, they sound OK. Not great, but just OK IMO. They don't have any bass boost like Sony earbuds do nor any exceptional ANC like Apple or Bose. These feel more like mid-range earbuds, which is fine, however they carry top tier pricing which is a put off. Sound is good. With the companion app, you have the normal EQ settings as well as profiles you can set for any custom settings you come up with. The big thing here for me was the lackluster noise cancellation. It's bearable at best. ANC from Airpods or Bose are really great and block out pretty much all unwanted noise. These, do a mediocre job at that. Even with the transparency mode off, you're still able to hear a good bit which kinda makes the noise cancelling "feature" pretty useless. It's OK, not great. The fit was a big issue for me as well. I really dislike the shape of these earbuds. For me they were difficult to take out and with the smooth surface of the earbuds, felt like taking these out real quick was a chore. Never had this problem with any other earbuds I've tried so this was a big let down for me. I'd say, again, that these are just mid-range earbuds which would be OK at the sub $100 level or so. But the price these come in at, I'd expect a lot more from these especially coming from a reputable brand like Sennheiser.

Sound quality with these earbuds is quite insane. Coming over from a reputable brand user of 10 years is a night and day difference. The sound cancellation is unreal and makes everything personalized. The only reason these are 4/5 stars is due the microphone not having any noise cancellation which makes phone calls a big 50/50.

One of the best wireless earbuds I've used. The equalizer in the app let's you customize the sound exactly how you want it. They are able to produce a wide soundstage and have good bass. You are also able to change the charging settings, which takes longer for them to charge, but it prolongs the battery life in the long term. The main downside about these buds is the noise cancelling is average at best, especially when compared to Sony. However, the sound and features make up for it. I highly recommend pairing these with foam eartips to get the most out of them.

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 earbuds are top notch. The fit and sound quality are very good. I have had no connection issues. Not the best noise reduction on the market but the best nr earbuds don't have the Sennheiser's sound quality. So a trade off and I didn't expect top tier nr when I made the purchase. The app is fine. I bought the over ear 4's first. Have been happy with those so assumed these would work well for me, too. Haven't been disappointed. I don't know about their durability so will update if I run into any problems down the line.
