Didnt need them but really glad i got them. Sound quality is amazing, battery life is really really good as i can usually get 7 hours without worry. Noise cancelation is where its at though with different modes at the flip of a switch. Truly saved me on my last 2 plane rides.

These sound incredible, great low-end bass, crisp highs, & clear mids bring it all together. The 4's have far superior battery life, the 3's excel in build quality & style. If you can get them for $250 or lower, you'll never find a better pair of headphones for that price. Will easily rival the most expensive headphones especially if you use a wired connection. These do not have the 4's touch controls, so you will be stuck with manual buttons, not an issue for me, buy may be for some. Sennheiser makes great sounding products!!!

I have been a sennheiser guy for a long time, the m4s are the best wireless sennheisers I have owned to date. They have great features, build quality and comfort. But what makes them so great is the sound. I tried Sony, Bose, B and W, Master and Dynamic, and others and they just don't match the Sennheiser sound, it is so clean, crisp with great, clear bass and a majestic sound stage that make you feel you are in the middle of a Stones or Springsteen concert. They are comfy, turn them selves on, pause when you take them off and one toggle pauses music and ANC so you can carry on a conversation or hear announcements, ect. Phone quality is good. Listening to your favorite music on the momentum 3s just makes you feel better. Sounds kinda hooky, but it actually true. Try them and see, your soul will thank me. PS, battery life is only 17 hrs. so you charge them every 3 or 4 days instead of every 8 to 10 days, but it's worth it.

The Sennheiser Momentum 3 headphones are a quality product and very comfortable to wear over long periods of time. It’s hard to judge the sound quality as I stream my music; streamed music bit rate isn’t at hifi level. In my opinion they sound great; good deep bass and the mid range doesn’t scream in your ears. Connectivity is spot on. After pairing just simply open the headphones and in a matter of seconds they connect to the device. These headphones replaced my B&O Beoplay H4’s which sounded good but connectivity was always a bit of a pain.

The Momentum 3 is the latest iteration in the Momentum series. Notable in this version is the addition of Bluetooth 5.0. What really stands out in these phones are their sound quality. Clarity, transparency, imaging, accurate frequency response and base response and impact. These are rare qualities in wireless headphones. I previously owned the AKG N700NCM2 phones, and those are excellent phones, but these Sennheisers surpass them in terms of sound quality. In the meantime they display excellent battery life and noise cancellation ability. I don’t know of a better sounding Bluetooth, noise-cancelling phone.

First up I should qualify my review by saying I'm a low budget audiophile who prefers a relatively flat or reference sound for headphones so I can adjust the EQ on my own. Also my head peaks at the top and while I prefer the sound of over-ear headphones they have to be pretty light or else they irritate me. My favorite headphones are a pair of Sennheiser 6xx's that are darn perfect but since they're open they are bad for loud environments. Understandably the Momentum 3's could not match the sound, but they came closer than any other ANC headphone has. If you have enjoyed mid and upper range Sennheiser over-ear headphones in the past you will like these. You can of course adjust the sound using the app and create presets. Personally I would have liked the option for a standard EQ interface, because I'm old, but the floating point thingy is okay if you mess around with it. The app gets points for being able to configure the headphones for not only your phone but other devices. I used these with my work Windows notebook and liked being able to easily switch back and forth between my phone. ANC works well and I liked the optional strengths. I used "low pressure" at home usually and it silenced my family nicely. The controls on the headphones worked fine and the build quality and feel was premium. Unfortunately for me after a day or two of usage the weight on my misshapen head became hard to ignore. I think they are just a few grams too heavy, or maybe if they clamped a little harder so the band didn't rest squarely on my head they would be perfect. If they were cheaper I would have kept them for commuting, but I need something that will work for hours so I returned them. I would still recommend them so long as you aren't a diva like me when it comes to comfort!

This is my second review after over 2 years of use from my first purchase from another store. I have been using Sennheiser for over 10 years and their products are amazing, but it seems like their quality control is really bad right now for these headphones at least. I have had 2 of these headphones( one for me and one for my girlfriend). Shes experienced issues with the headphones not charging. Apparently, according to reddit, you have to use the usbc cable that came with it to charge. Other usbc cables from Apple or other places wont work. Some say it depends on the usbc connection, but regardless a $400 dollar headphone should not be only chargeable by some cheap usbc cable. Another issue that I ran into was pairing. Apparently, if you use the headphone jack to listen on a laptop or pc, sometimes it wont pair through bluetooth because it still thinks its using the jack. When trying to pair when this happens a beep will occur after 5 seconds and nothing would happen. This headphone does have amazing sound quality but for 400 dollars, this is unacceptable. I can almost buy a freaking PS5 at this price. I will use these headphones until they die and when they do, I will not buying a sennheiser again. If any of yall have issues please go on reddit forums, many of them have good solutions to the headphones problem.

Purchased this headphones primarily for the TV watching as these are among the few premium tier companies that supports aptx-ll codec. The main problem with these headphones is the connectivity issue with the external BT transmitters. I have tried at least 2 different brands, to ensure that the issue is not with the transmitter, and ended up with the same results. The problem includes. 1. After a successful pairing and connection, if you try to reconnect at later time, it will not connect to transmitter. The headphones needs to be restarted a couple of times. 2. Even after the paring and connection is successful as per the prompt on the headphone, either there is no sound, or it starts with after significant amount of delay. 3. Specific to aptx LL codec, there is lot of crackling sound, and it is really annoying while watching the TV. Now these headphone are pretty amazing, while they work, the bass is deep, sound quality is on-par or better compared to likes of Bose/sony, This is the primary reason for lower rating. I tried 2 different vendors for purchasing just to make sure I didn't get any faulty unit, but the results were exactly the same. These seems like a firmware issue and should be easily addressed. I hope Sennheiser is paying attention to review comments from the users and work upon addressing these issues. I would not recommend this to anybody until these issues are addressed.

Was looking for a nice set of headpohens that is comfortable to wear, looks good and high audio quality. This set fit the bill perfectly. The noise cancelling feature is okay at best… the Bose nocisencancelling performs better and another down side is the soft, fabric case.

The Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless is in the upper echelon of wireless ANC headphonesI found the Momentum 3 Wireless to provide a larger soundstage, better ANC, and more extended treble. In addition to those sonic attributes, the M3W is more comfortable to wear. The Momentum 3 Wireless is capable of reproducing music with detail and transient dynamics without ever sounding brittle or harsh. To maximize these capabilities, you should connect to your source by either the audio or USB cable, but even in wireless mode the performance is solid

Always been the fan of Sennheiser headphones. So filter this review accordingly. As the last consumer product from Sennheiser themselves, this is a good product to have since they are still taking care of its warranty. Sound is great. Compared to my sony 1000mx3, Momentum definitely feels like it has more openness, depth to the sound. I even regret not buying this and going 1000mx3 instead. The battery lasts long enough that I only charge this like every two to three days of 4-5 hour listening. If you need a wireless headphone that last longer, you have to get 1000mx3, but you'll be sacrificing the sound quality. though the sacrifice isn't too much like going to beats headphones, but you notice the difference. Plus, why even need to listen more than 4-5 hours of music with a wireless headphone anyways? It's bad for your ear canal health. Noise cancelling is okay. Despite the fact that Sennheiser pioneered noise cancelling tech, they are not as good as Sony. However, it cancels enough noise with less white noise than 1000mx3. Another point where Sennheiser beats Sony in sound quality.

Fantastic sound! These are not your average headphones. Unlike Bose where everything sounds muddy and flat. These headphones have crystal clear mids and highs. The bass is very strong snd clear even in higher volume application. The quality of these headphones are way above the competition at this price point. Easy to connect with the phone or tablet. Phone calls are crystal clear Bluetooth range is amazing Battery life is 6-8 hrs all depending on how loud.

Excellent headphones with top notch build quality and sound. These headphone are made of durable and dependable materials. I use them for video games, cutting the lawn, doing dishes, and for im laying in bed with no issues. The best part is the audio suppression. When i cut the grass, i barely hear the mower and just hear my favorite bands playing in my ears. The price is well worth it but if you can snag them on a deal then it is even better!

First thing is first, these headphones sound great. You can use them wirelessly via BT, wired mode via 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm (more about this), and via USB-C (not very common but works great and this is my preferred method when possible). I like the sound signature of this pair more than my XM3, but of course It's a bit different to some more expensive open back headphones (e.g., 660S). If I had to make one complaint (a big one and the only reason why I am giving this pair of headphones 4 instead of 5 stars), it is that this pair of headphones uses a proprietary 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable. Now when I say proprietary, I don't mean the fact that it's a 2.5 mm port vs 3.5 mm, I mean literally the mechanism to plug in the cable is proprietary. I purchased an adapter so that I could use my own cables and the 2.5 mm male portion of the cable could not be inserted into the port of the Momentum.

I was looking for the best sounding wireless headphones I could afford at this time. I wasn't looking for noise-canceling hpones. I compared the Sony wh-1000xm4, Bose Quiet Comfort 45, and B&W PX7. I ruled out the Sony and the Bose while in the store. Not sure if the sound in the store is true or accurate but it is what it is. I compared the Sennheiser Momentu and B&W for about a week taking them on and off listening strictly to various kinds of music. Listening particularly for the highs and lows and accuracy of voices. The two were very, very close. I would say that it came down to the Momentum's app that allows you to up the bass and treble the way you like it. It just happens to be the way I like to listen to music. I would say that the controls on the Momentum are slightly better to feel while wearing them. Another plus is the way they fold up and turn off. I would agree the the carrying case could be sturdier but the trade off is better sounding music. I would say they are pretty good in terms of noise canceling. My wife can be standing in front of me talking and I can scarcely hear a word she says.

I like how these headphones sound. They sound big, with a perfect amount of bass. Even classical music sounded better with them (compared to Bose). The design is unique, buttons are well placed, but comfort is so so. I recommend them.

These are my favorite headphones. They sound fantastic plus the noise cancellation works almost as good as my Sony XM4’s. In comparison to the XM4’ which I also own, l like the sound better on the Momentum headphones, the Momentum headphones are more comfortable, the phone call performance is better on the Momentum headphones. The case for the Sony XM4 is better than that of the Momentum case.
