Very nice headphone, good sound quality. I will just tell one inconvenient, when I turn my head on the right, the music stop, as soon as I put back my head straight, the music turn on again. I tried to find an answer...not yet

These headphones are absolutely beautiful when reviewing audio. Crisp, clear detail within a decent budget. I'm not too fond of the constant connecting/disconnecting, but they are worth it. Also, noise cancellation is perfect.

Sennheiser has been known to produce high quality headphones for a long time, and these Momentum Wireless headphones are no exception. I'll start with the most important aspect of these headphone, which is the sound. I've run them through the paces in terms of types of music, loud and soft, rockin' and acoustic, male and female singers, various types of instrumental, heavy bass tracks, etc. I found the sound quality to be excellent in all cases. A nice clear sound, an impressive deep bass, no distortion at louder volumes. I couldn't be happier with the sound. I even tried them with an audio-book and it was nice and clear. I was also impressed with the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) features. I've tried different ANC headphones in the past. Often they don't do a good job and I've also tried the most popular ANC cans. I feel these Momentums did as good a job with their ANC features as the best I have tried. I have not had an opportunity to try them on an airplane yet, which is where I will use it the most, but I tried the ANC features out with various loud types of noise around my house and found they worked great. A nice feature associated with this ANC capability the Sennheiser App allows you to set them at 3 different levels of ANC, including Max, anti-wind and anti-pressure. It kind of seemed like Max, medium and low ANC to me. I'm sure there may be times where the two lower settings could come in handy, but I expect since I mostly use that feature on a plane, I will use the Max setting. With each type of music I played, I tried the various ANC settings and turning the ANC on or off did not change the quality of the sound. Most over the ear headphones I have tried have not had much for controls on the actual headphones, These Momentum Wireless headphones have a variety of buttons/controls right on the headphones. This is a nice feature if you want to leave your phone in your pocket and don't want to mess with the controls on the phone or the App. You can turn ANC on or off or engage transparent hearing to listen to or pause the music and hear announcements or sounds around you. You can also use the controls to play and pause music, adjust volume, take and mute calls, and to engage a voice assistant such as Siri. These controls all sit on the right earphone. I found the design of the button placement made them easy to use and find the button I am looking for. Love the fact I can do all of that without touching my phone. There is a free Sennheiser App you can download to use with these headphones. I can't say it is all that necessary, as you can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and they work fine in all of the default settings. The App is where you would choose between the three levels of ANC (the default is set to MAX). The App also lets you turn on transparent hearing and choose whether the music keeps playing when transparent hearing is engaged. There is also an equalizer on the App. This is my favorite feature of the App. While the headphones sounded great out of the box in default flat mode, I enjoy playing with the equalizer to set the bass and treble sound to my liking depending on what I am listening to. The headphones were easy to figure out from the quick reference guide and very easy to connect to via Bluetooth. It's great they come with an analog cable that will let you connect to an airplane movie system, so you don't have to buy one of those separate units you plug into an airplane seat so you can connect to it wirelessly. They are stated to have a 17 hour battery life, which will get you through nearly any flights you might have. They automatically pause when you take them off your ears and hang them around your neck and they automatically turn on and off just from folding or unfolding them. As you can tell I am very happy with the sound, performance and features of these headphones. To me those are the main reasons to buy a set of headphones, so based on those things alone, I had to give them 5 stars. There are two minor things I would change about these headphones, but since sound and performance are the most important quality of headphones, I can't dock the rating for these more minor things. First, I can't say I'm overly impressed by the look of these headphones. Don't get me wrong, you can tell they are a solid, well made set of cans, with high quality parts. I found them extremely comfortable to wear for hours at a time, with nice padded ear cups and headband. However, as you can see if you look at a picture of them, the earphones are connected to the headband with large metal pieces that allow the earpieces to be slid up and down to adjust them to fit your head. While this functionally works fine, I find the look of them to be a bit bulky with the large over the ear cups and then the additional long metal piece that sticks out from the cups and runs the length of the cups. Many other headphones are designed with some kind of expanding headband where the band extends and contracts inside itself, so they just don't look as bulky. This is probably just a personal preference thing on the look though, as some may like that look better. The second thing I would change is the carrying case. Given the quality of these headphones and the price point, I think they should come with a nicer carrying case. The case it comes with is a round, gray fabric case, with a carry loop. It is 7 inches across and 4 inches deep. The top and bottom are stiff, but the sides are not structured or stiff and are collapsible. There is no padding in the case. It has a pocket inside to carry all of the cords. The main thing I don't like about this is the size and the protection it will provide. These headphones do not lie flat when folded, which means the case has to be 4 inches deep, as that is the width of the ear cups when on their side, which is how they fold. The problem I have with this is the case is too wide for me to get into a brief case that I often use when flying. I sometimes use a backpack when I fly and it would fit in there, but at 4 inches deep it takes quite a bit of room. However, while it will fit in the backpack, with the soft, unstructured sides of the carry case, I'm afraid the headphones could be easily smashed. While they are well made, I would be afraid the metal pieces that connect to the ear cups could be bent or other damage could occur if you have a lot of stuff crammed in your bag. I haven't had this happen yet, but it just seems to me that a more heavy duty structured case would have provided more protection for a nice set of headphones like this. I also think a design that allows them to fold flat would allow for a case that would more easily fit into a brief case or messenger style bag that many use while flying. The case will work perfectly fine around the home or office to store your headphones, but something to consider if you fly and depending on the type of bag you carry onboard. As I said, I did not dock the rating based on the carrying case for this, as it would be tough to beat the sound or performance and that is the most important thing when buying headphones.

They drew blood, won't lie. Keep your finger away from the hinge, trust me. Have people ask me.... "how long does the battery last?", already knowing it's shorter than their BOSE or SONY, like they're subtly saying, "mine are better than your fancy ones". But... I already know the truth. We're in the world of COVID.... You haven't tried them on. Listened to them. Or felt them. And you're not trying mine. So I just smile and say "not sure, I just charge them when I have time". The truth is, these sound better than you could possibly know and as much as I want to rub it in your face, you gotta stay six feet away bro.

Sound great but anc could have been better. Returned them because of sharp hinge which is a flaw. There are videos of folks cutting their hand on the hinge. I did too- not happy for $399.

Want big headphones? No. Too bad. U need em! Take em

I bought this headset with hopes that I would get a strong connection to my new LG CX 55 inch television, being that the Bluetooth 5.0 technology is present in both devices. I was very disappointed to see how easily distorted and broken the connection would become when either the television's remote or my phone was placed in front of the headset while being used. My Logitech H800 headset was able to connect and never have such an issue. I appreciate the ability of the headset to connect to two devices at one time, as well. However, how the headset handles the audio playing of one device as a notification is announced from the other device is incredibly annoying!! I wish there was a way for a faint notification sound, from the second device, to display without completely halting the video or song being played on the primary device. I realized that my user case scenario may not be the same as that of others. Because of that, others may not experience the issues that I have. The comfort was decent and the app service was very intuitive. If not for the two issues that I mentioned, I'd love to keep this headset. However, I will be returning them today. I cannot recommend this headset.

The Sennheiser Momentum line of headphones are a class of their own. Unfortunately, they’re commonly overlooked by big name brands like Bose, Sony and Beats. Now in the third generation, Sennheiser continues to refine and innovate one of their best lines of headphones. Sennheiser has long been known to be a pioneer in sound Technology and they deliver once again. This new update delivers the ultimate balance of sound, function, and modern technology. Aside from a few minor negatives there is almost no reason to choose another headset in this price range. I confidently rate them as a five-star wireless, noise canceling, over the ear pair of headphones. Comfort and Style: I travel quite often, and long plane rides require headphones that are comfortable, fit well, and keep your ears cool. I was amazed how comfortable and cool my ears would stay after long periods with the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0. This new model is even more comfortable, but it is hard to say if they keep my ears in cooler, however I think they do. Excellent fit on my average-size head. The cups fit very well and have good cushioning. I personally think that headband rests very well on my head. When I fall asleep wearing them, it doesn’t even feel like they’re on my head. They look good, but they could’ve been a little bit classier looking. I think a few minor changes made him look a little less classy then the 2.0. Sound: The sound is remarkable. Highs were always smooth and without any hint of distortion at the highest levels. The bass incorporated punch and depth and blended well with the vocals and instrumentals. I think most people enjoy good bass and this set by far some of the best I’ve experienced. Vocals what crisp and clear allowing appreciate the Intricacies of some very talented artists. Sennheiser has really done a fantastic job balancing all the different aspects of high quality sound. One of the biggest improvements in this model was the level of volume they can achieve. I felt that the lost model definitely lacked the ability achieve higher volume. However, Sennheiser has really improved this time around. Often, I use my headphones for TV and movies. This is commonly one of Sennheiser’s greatest strengths. These headphones allow you to really enjoy music and movies without really sacrificing sound. Action movies really became an immersive and with proper sound processing they really livened the experience. Functionality: the noise canceling is Sennheiser’s biggest improvement on this model. Noise canceling last model was good but there was much room for improvement. Now you have the option of changing levels of noise canceling. There are three level options which I think its more than enough. This feature has been available on many competitors models for a while and I’m glad Sennheiser has caught up. You can also choose the “transparent hearing” feature to be more aware of your surroundings. I didn’t really find this feature all that great and not sure if he hasn’t a utility for me personally. Although significantly improved, and good enough noise canceling for almost everybody, it’s still hard to say Sennheiser has beat Bose in the area. This really comes down to user preference and what you’re looking for in terms of noise canceling. The auto on/off/smart pause feature works very well I tried very hard to make it fail and I was unsuccessful. It’s really nice do not have to worry about that. This is especially due to the new button layout which makes it more difficult to tactically feel which button you were pressing without looking. Although there were a lot of complaints about the momentum 2.0 button style come on I did not mind at all. Calling functionality is excellent. I have had no issues with hearing the other side and no one has complained about any difficulty hearing me or clarity issues. App: the app works well and doesn’t require a bunch of personal information to use. It allows you to change noise canceling levels and fine-tuned equalizer. It also has “Smart tile” feature which allows you to help locate your headphones. I highly recommend this headset to anyone in the market in this price range. There is zero chance you’ll be disappointed unless the noise canceling is not exactly what you’re looking for. However, I think that would be a rare situation. This is the most complete headset out there at this price point. Sennheiser includes a good case, 3.5mm cable, and usb-c cable with adapter. You can’t go wrong.

These headphones have solid build quality, amazing sound, pretty good noise canceling, and are both Bluetooth wireless and have a 3.5mm audio jack. These are by far the nicest headphones I've owned, and Sennheiser lives up to their reputation

Awesome sound and noise cancellation and comfortable on the ears

This product has great sound and great features. Only drawback is that it is hot to wear, at least for me. It has great microphone if I want to attend meetings with headphones. The sound is good to me with out equalizer app so I haven't used it.

The Sennheiser headphones are very impressive in the sound stage department. I was literally blow away by the soundstage !! The build quality is second to none but the only caveat is the app. The is the best sounding headphones in this category!!

The sound is well balanced. There's spacial-depth or simulates surround. Don't know if thats an advertised feature. Battery life could be longer.

Excellent sound for bluetooth headphones. Battery life was a little more of an issue than I thought it would be. It doesn't seem to reach 17 hours, but still pretty good. Great sound though.
