This is a good headset for the gaming audiophile. The sound reproduction is excellent. The fit is very comfortable. For long use sessions, the headset is light enough and doesn't squeeze too hard for those to be an issue. Even though the speakers are open, my ears still warm up some in long sessions. Still, it is much better than closed headsets I have used. The included microphone is decent -- it worked well for podcasting. The included USB soundcard is okay, and works well enough for now (after some minor compatibility hiccups initially). Given how good the headset is, I would consider upgrading my soundcard.

Had these for i think a few months and so far i am very pleased. The sound quality is good though honestly i don't find it night and day from my last pair which was steelseries. Where this headset really make a difference though is in it comfort. I work from home most days and am on the phone the entire time. Instead of using my phone i typically use my comp and this head set to make calls. I wear this thing at least 10 hours a day as i game most nights for a couple more hours after finishing work. My head is never sore, and my ears barely notice that this is on (and i wear glasses). The usb sound board that this comes with makes a huge difference. Instead of feeling like the speaker is right next to your ears it feels more like you are in the center of a room and the sound is coming from all around. Great for music, for phone calls it took a little getting used to (first i swear it felt like everyone was talking right into my head) but now when i switch between the options i notice everything is much clearer. all in all i would buy this again no problem and dont regret the price i paid at all. excellent head set and worth the investment

Great combination of features, great audio quality, included USB DAC makes iTunes and other audio sources sound better. Surround sound works in games. Chat mic works good too.

I've had mine for a few months now and i love it! I play games for long periods of times and this headset is amazing it's super light and comfy and the sound quality is amazing! Very good product and well worth it!

Absolutely love this headset. Only 2 things that could have been better would be to make the wires interchangeable like the Game Ones and making them a little bit more stylish

This headset is comfortable and sounds very good - clear highs and midrange, and a strong base that isn't "muddy." I've tried other headphones from Razor and Turtle Beach, and being "closed" designs they have an overly powerful (to my ears) bass; even when turned down, I feel that my eardrums are being "pistoned" by the driver in the closed earcup. Not so with these; the bass is powerful, but not overwhelming or unnatural, giving me what I consider to be very well-balanced sound. I also like the fact that I can still hear other things around me (telephone, doorbell, etc.) when wearing these. The ear cups are comfortable, and the size of the headphone overall is fine even though my head is large. Tilting the (very good) microphone up mutes it, and the on-the-earcup volume control is a big plus. The only downside is the Sennheiser driver software - you can choose 2 channel, 4 channel, 5.1 channel, or 7.1 channel - that's it. No equalization or surround adjustment like you get with other (cheaper!) headphones. So thanks to the price and the rudimentary software, I'm downchecking this otherwise excellent headset to a "4 star" rating.

Im not that tech savy when it comes to headsets but this is outstanding! The audio of the headset is superb and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to be immersed. The dac that comes with it is nice, solid build it definitely feels like a premium product. If you want a headset look no further

Best gaming headset I've ever had. Sennheiser quality sound engineering on a frame that's comfortable for long-term wear for involved games. I now own three of these, but they're already the only headphones I've ever managed to keep for a year without breaking, so I look forward to using them for quite some time.

While expensive, this headset is incredibly comfortable. Mic sounds excellent for others and is very clear - no problems being heard. Sound is also very good and the virtual surround sound does make it sound like you are "in" the action.

I needed a pair that would work through several different games and this set worked excellently.

These headphones produce good solid sound. The software on the PC was limiting compared to compatibly price headphones. If volume and bass and surround sound are all you need then these will serve you well.

I purchased these for my son who is a PC gamer. He spends upwards of 10+ hours a day on his computer and we have gone through three sets of Astros. All three lasted approx one year before having problems. I changed brands in hope of finding a more reliable product. So far, these are working nicely. Took a little working with to figure out how to make them not to tight but they are fine now.

I bought this as a gift for my audiophile brother in law. He loves it. Apparently the sounds is fantastic for the price. He's been using it for games and music and is very happy with it.

These are spendy but well worth it. You can't go wrong with them. I was able to get them on sale for a $100 off.

This headset rocks! Not only are the sound and microphone sensitivity perfect, the headset is also extremely comfortable. I've had marathon type gaming sessions, using team speak for >24 hours straight, and I felt like i was not even wearing a headset. The automatic mute on the mic boom is extremely convenient. I highly recommend this to anyone that is serious (obsessed) with gaming.
