I've tried tons of Bluetooth headphones, but few are as comfortable as these. The reason I decided to keep and use the PXC 550 is that they represent a solid combination of sound quality, comfort, battery life, and range.

I would of rated it a five but the cup size is fitted won't be liked by all. Easy to pair unheard customization for different sound settings. Great listening time almost 30 hours. Controls easy to work with hand gestures on the right earcup. Turn on and off just by turning the ear cups no button pushing. Only other downside pricey at $400.

I’ve had the Bose QC35’s and the sony 1000mx. These headphones are the best I’ve found they have all the features offered by the others. My favorite thing is they can be paired to multiple devices at the same time.

I love this headphone, it allows me to pair with two connection, phone and pc at the same time. I returned the BOSE QC35 and purchased this one instead. I'm glad I did. The earpiece is smaller but it fits me perfectly. I used it on the plane for the first time and it really blocks all the noise you ordinarily hear on the plane.

These are well-made headphones. They also have very comfortable ear cups.
I'd the noise canceling at 8 of 10, the Bose and Sony are better.
Sound quality is excellent, better than the Bose qc35.
The volume level could go louder, if you really want to crank your music these aren't the ones.
The ergonomics could be better, Sony is definitely superior with their buttons. But.. the touch features make up for it.
Overall I'd rated number two to the Sony xxx1000, but above Bose and obviously beats.

I have had these headphones for 3 months now and i use them mainly to watch videos for school. They block out noises moderately well, but I would say the Bose QC35ii were a tad better at that. That being said these have better sound with music, options for listening to music vs speech which does really help. They also have less fatigue as the pads are softer than the rest and they are lighter as well. Overall recommended especially at the 250 price point they are at during this review. Full disclosure mine began cutting ouy when my videos were paused on and off quickly, but sennheiser has a warranty and you dont even pay for shipping.

Sennheiser makes great products and this one was no different. The reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was because when I’d use them for about an hour or so my ears start to get hot and then sweaty. And my other reason is because the noise cancelling was not as good as expected. I’m use to using Bose noise cancelling quite comfort headphones. They both are great competitors on both being wireless and noise cancelling but Bose wins. It’s a trade off on having pay less with good quality sound with good bass or really have a very quite and comfortable experience for hours at a time.

As someone who used to travel extensively for work, a good set of noise-cancelling headphones is practically a necessity.
Only complaints are that I sometimes had issues with pairing to my phone / tablets -sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Hopefully, your device has a mini headphone jack on it just in case...
Also, the N/C aspect of these headphones is 'ok' but not the best. You will certainly hear a difference between these and a standard pair of phones, but other brands have better N/C performance.

I have tried many earbuds but they don't stay in well. I tried over the ear but they are heavy. I found the Sennheiser PXC550 and they are much lighter than most. I love noise cancellation, the phone calls are clear and music sounds great. the only reason I gave four stars is the touchpad. I find it hard to figure out and I have hung up on quite a few people, in all fairness It will probably take more practice, but I do love the sound quality. So let's say 4.5 stars. Even though I have had them a month I have only used the 4 or 5 times.

Bought these so i wouldnt disturb the family with late night tv watching. Beautiful packaging and design. Instructions for use are horrible! Took me forever to figure out how to turn them on and off. Pairing was difficult at best. Finally had to download manual to figure out what to do. Eound is pretty good, but actually disappointed at max volume levels. Could be a little louder. Glad they were half price!

Recently I have to attend the long conference call more often so the in-ear headphones that I have been using didn't work well for me anymore since they aren't that comfortable after long call. The over-ear ones make more sense since I don't want to lose the sound quality so the cheap pairs wouldn't cut for me.
After trying out multiple headphones, I have finally settled with the PXC 550. Control is very intuitive and sound quality is superb. Though they might be a little expensive but if you are serious about quality, this headphones are worth it.

These headphones are unlike any others- the best headphones I've ever owned. I have larger ears so after a while headphones can be uncomfortable, but not these headphones! The unique shape of the ear cups fully surrounds my ears and can be worn comfortably for hours. The sound quality is incredible, and I love how the controls are incorporated into the right-side outer ear cup. And how you turn them off and on by rotating the ear cups! Well worth the purchase

COMFORT
I previously owned a pair of Sony-CH700N's and comparing the $129.99 product to the Sennheiser PXC-550's there is a noticeable difference. I put on the sony's and then the sennheiser's and the nc between the two is immensely different. Whereas the sony's had almost no ear-pad and didn't form fit around the ear, the Sennheiser's had ample cushion, space for your ear, and a nice tight, formfitting seal around your ear. (I do wear glasses and they work great).
DESIGN
The design is nice and sturdy with a polished stainless steel finish, but just know that the touch pad on the ear is sensitive to touch
FEATURES
Noisegard Adaptive- This is a great feature that increases or decreases the noise cancelling based on how loud the environment is
Two device connection- This is also a great feature, I can listen to music from my sony walkman or phone and also connect to my laptop so I can here sounds from either device without having to reconnect.
SOUND QUALITY
Amazing sound as the Sennheiser supports aptx and other hi-fi bluetooth codecs, combine that with Sennheiser's renown for making great sounding equipment and you get a nice balanced sound. Depending on what music genre you can turn up the bass with an EQ or you cna turn up the mids or the highs. Great for watching movies and videos too.
Thanks Sennheiser for presenting another great product!

To say it simply, these things are amazing. Sound quality is second to NONE and the ANC is second only to Bose. I’m not the biggest fan of the range of these things, but for my purposes they work. They also disconnect on FaceTime calls, but no other time. I’ve only ever had these things die on me once
PROS-
Sound quality
Active Noise Cancelling
Battery
CONS-
Disconnects on FaceTime
Range is subpar
Charges on Micro B not type C

pros:
Sound quality is where this really stands out!
noise cancelling feature works great, but there are probably better products out there for this specific feature
battery life is wonderful
case is a bonus
Cons:
like most over ear headphone they can get hot around the ears
the app is completely useless!!! USELESS
side note:
the on/off and touch features take a little getting used to, but are innovative

Great sound, easy set up, long battery life are the best features of this headset. It can truly pull it out of the box and go. The only instructions you need to get familiar with are the finger swipe directions you can perform on the right ear pad. The only flaw I have found is sometimes you will get a little static sound in one of your ears pads. It can easily be corrected by tilting your head in a little different direction which can be annoying. Over all I'm happy with this purchase.
