I wouldn't expect anything less than perfection from Sennheiser and am not disappointed. We have used the Evo G2 for many years and the G3 here works and feels exactly the same. True Diversity is the only way to go!

works great plus you can get different mics (over the ear or lapel) from the company to use in place of the guitar cable. I even got a balanced connection so that I can hook any 3 pin mic to it with a short cable.

So first off i previously owned an audio technica wireless guitar system that was Ok at best so i had kinda lost hope for wireless untill i tried this! First off if your looking for sompthing that will not cut out from being too far away this is the unit for you! i litterally walked 2 blocks away with someone at home and they said they heard it the whole way there and back with no interference! NOW THATS RANGE! Also has a super easy to use interface... i took it out of the box and plugged it in, and without reading the manual set it up in about 2 minutes! This is a top notch, Top quality unit.. if you are hesitating DONT you will not regret it! another thing i love is DOUBLE A's no more expencive 9v's!!! and there is an optional rechargeable battery from sennheiser. This is one of the best wireless systems out there under $1000 for sure!

Great Professional Wireless System!!!

I use this system primarily at church on all of my guitars, electric and acoustic. I run the system into a Boss A/B switch with one send going to my electric guitar amp (for when I'm using electrics), and the other feed going directly into the PA system. The unit sounds amazing on both electric and acoustic guitars. The wide frequency range gives the impression of using a high grade instrument cable. It also has a great range as I can walk anywhere in our 500+ seat sanctuary with no dropouts; that's true diversity wireless for you! For any that don't know, true diversity means that the unit has two RF modules and two antennas that work together simultaneously to ensure the best possible reception (if one antenna starts to drop, it switches to the other). As for the battery life, I cannot say. I generally change my batteries after two services when I usually have 2 of 3 battery bars remaining. I have worked in the professional audio field for 10 years now and have used many professional wireless systems from brands from Telex, Audio Technica, Shure, Sennheiser and others. This is another professional grade product from Sennheiser that I would highly recommend to any musician.

Made my guitar sound even better

I use this in church on a Martin HD-35 guitar played through a Mackie board, QSC amps and full range JBL speakers. The Sennheiser unit made my guitar sound really clear. I was able to cut back significantly on effects (using a Yamaha AC Stomp pedal), and bring out more of the sound of the guitar itself. I also love being able to walk out off the stage area and see how I sound throught the speakers in the mix of the other instruments and singers. The unit works really well.
