Game is a remake/remaster of the first Senran Kagura that released on 3DS years back. The changes include shifting from a 2D side scrolling perspective to fully 3D realized world as well as some extras to more or less justify the re-release. Though be warned, if you are into for the fan-service, the main feature was stripped at the request of Sony and you'd be better off with the Steam Edition. That said, my real overall score is 3.5 stars because of this. Its what made Senran Senran in the first place and considering all the other things allowed on the platform, it just feels like censorship than actual quality control but I digress. I still decided to buy it and support the devs as this was not their fault and I much prefer to keep the collection together on console and I'll wait for a sale on PC.

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal although a remake of the original Nintendo 3DS game, is a fun with plenty of fan-service if that's what you're into, but sadly this version has been censored with the removal of one particular mode. But if you're willing to look past that and enjoy it for the fast-paced fighting action and cute girls, then you can't go wrong with this title.

SONYs new game dev policies are going to have alot of western games censored. This game is such the case. The Japanese version was left untouched but its had some areas removed. Still a great game but I wont be purchasing a next Gen SONY system. I prefer to choose the content of my games like the adult I am.

Due to Sony new policy the localization team had to remove intimacy mode had been removed while I never cared for this mode it still SHOULDN'T have been removed. Game is still fun and enjoyable.

Yes, the PS4 version removed the intimacy mode. But, looking at the game for what it is, it's a good way for people who never played the first Senran game to experience the origins of the story. Gameplay is fast paced and the graphics, though running on the same engine as Estival Versus, look like a slight step up the previous games. The visual novel cutscenes can go on for a bit too long, however, and the story focuses on a few characters too much, leaving the others a little neglected. Other than that, a very fun hack and slash game.

Fine looking ninjas in a great story,a good hack and slash game with beatiful graphics.If you like anime games you have to play this one.

With this series, it’s highly known for lots of anime tropes, mainly the young girls that refuse to wear clothes. While that’s here, the game is incredibly fun to turn on and lose a few hours to! Racking up combo after combo while playing through the pretty standard plot is so much fun! This version also comes with extra goodies (at least the one I got did) that make the purchase even more worth it.

If course with any Senran Kagura game, expect fan service, the gameplay was fun, I enjoyed the story!

I remember when I played the first edition of this game on my 3DS, it was a digital download. Now I can have one of the physical editions of the game that started this awesome saga. If you're a Senran Kagura fan this is a must have!

I’ve played this before on 3DS. Very fun and fast pace action. Effects during special attacks are very good. I wished it did a better job of telling you the story of these 2 rival clans/school.

It's a pretty good game and I like special editions but the package is made of paper box so it can easily get damage.

If you like the fan service type games this is for you. This is a remake of the first game. I wanted to the game to try this series out and the graphics look pretty good.

I'll be honest this game is just a T&A game which also happens to be a fighting game too. It's fun with the fighting but the T&A fan service is what makes it a great buy.

Playing this while your partner gives you looks, worth it and it's a fun beat 'em up game with fan service. It has an M-rating for a reason

Very action packed game with many adorable characters and a good challenge. It is fun to play with the different girls, change their attributes and even costumes.

If you're familiar with the hack and slash gameplay styles, you'll quite like this game as well. It has a ton of fan service as well.

Good remake for people who haven't played the original game. Although, it is unfortunate that the game is censored on the PS4.
